Sparkly Snowflakes Card

Hi bloggers!  I believe this is one of the last few Christmas die videos for you this year (maybe just one or two more tops, I promise! LOL).  It happens to be one of my personal favourite cards, I hope you will enjoy it too!

The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  8 3/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Such a lovely card Sue, gorgeous, so icy and classical.
Deeply devastated and saddened to read that we have lost our lovely friend Tracy. She was so young and full of courage, she fought very hard to beat this awful disease and stay with her beloved husband Graeme, her mum, sister and friends. We were privileged that she trusted us to share her ups and downs, her hopes for the future, her wishes for a family and the loss of her dad which hit her so hard. My deepest sympathies to Graeme, her family, Janice, her workmates and all who knew her. We will miss you Tracy but you are now back in the arms of your lovely Dad. Rest in peace Sweetheart, you are safe now.
Thank you Pat, you have kept us informed, not an easy task to do. Please pass on my condolences to the family, tell them how much she was loved here too.
I hope everyone on the blog is safe and well. Keep warm everyone.
Returning Sabas hug with a basket of my own. Help yourselves, esoecially poorly and missing friends.

  10. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I can see why this is one of your favourites Sue, it is gorgeous, even in the close up pictures you can see the crisp detail of the die cutting, just goes to show what good quality the dies are no matter what die cutting machine you use. Love it, I don't mind how many Christmas video's you do because we can always refer back to them when ever we want.

Pam, just read your post above, I am so saddened by the loss of Tracy, as you say she fought long and hard but her suffering is over and she is at peace with her Dad, my sincere condolences go out to Graeme all her family and friends, another angel has arrived in heaven. So sorry.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  29. Dear Sue and Blog Family,

Thank you, Sue, for giving us a sparkly card to brighten a sad day. Well, sad for us and her loved ones, but great for Tracy, freed from suffering, reunited with her father, and all her sorrows forgotten.

Stephanie Cotterill, your words were a comfort. Yes, my heart had a little spasm, too. I agree that we all need a hug. Good thing Pam set out a big basket of them.

I just love diamond snow and the other sparkle products.

Thank you so much for your kindness yesterday and to everyone who has left such lovely messsages for Tracy's family. I only met Tracy once in March this year and she was everything you've alll said about her. Even though I was old enough to be her mum we had lots of things in common, the main one being this wonderful blog which helped her so much through out her illness. I texted Graeme last night to tell him about all the lovely messages and he said to thank you all for your kindness.

I can see why this card is a personal favourite Sue so thank you so much for sharing it and the great video too

  60. Hi Sue and everyone

A gorgeous sparkly Christmas card today. I will watch the video soon.

I am at last back after being floored by a bad cold, with earache, sore throat and a really barking cough, which I must admit is still lingering. I probably should have had antibiotics, but I know you’re not supposed to take them unless you really have to. I have slept a lot too, but don’t feel refreshed, just stressed as I am not ready for Christmas. Still it will all work out. Can’t wait until it stops hurting to breathe.

I was very shocked and saddened to hear about Tracy. Pam you have summed up so well with your lovely comforting words. I’m so sorry for Tracy’s husband and family and friends. Thank you to Pat too for having the hard job of breaking the news to the blog. Rest in peace Tracy. X

  76. Hi Sue,
Beautiful, elegant and sparkly Christmas card and great video. I always learned from your brilliant videos and amazing explanations. Thank you for the great tips and for sharing.

More snow here and I am not happy about it. It will be a long and cold winter, as per our weather specialists. Hope they are wrong.

I left a comment last night, like many others, but I am keep thinking how strange the life can be …? I am working with some people for years and I know so little about them, less than I know about some of you. If one of this people will leave tomorrow (retirement, resign etc.) I won’t miss them because they didn’t have any impact on my life, while Tracy touch my heart and won my respect and admiration being so brave and full of courage. She will be in my heart forever. It says that: “We don’t meet people by accident. They are meant to cross our path for a reason.” Maybe is true.

Hugs to you all, lovely community of caring people!
    Stay safe, healthy and warm.
