Hi crafters! Here is a quick and easy idea for a shaker card using the new Domed Snow Globe die set. The hot air balloon design is great for just about any occasion as well I think!

Has to go to town yesterday to get my glasses repaired, the car parking was manic but the shops weren't overly busy, boy was I glad to get home. Kelly and the twins got my Christmas tree out of the loft and assembled it and I decorated it last night. Getting there.

ReplyDeletePam I reiterate all you have said above. Yes Colin did have a nice birthday, quite but lots of phone calls and our youngest son and grandchildren will be round today. He had a call from all the grandchildren yesterday including the one in Birmingham, she was saying that 'we have lots of snow Grandad, would you like some', pout of the mouths of babes!! I bet there was lots of laughs yesterday when twins helped with the Christmas tree, take care and don't go out today unless you absolutely have too, it is manic out there not just because of Christmas but also because of the weather - this applies to everyone.

Dear Sue and The Merry Band of Crafters,
ReplyDeleteEvery time I watch you do Pixie Powders, I try to see what you do that I'm not. Maybe it's the flick you give to the spray bottle as you spray, or the Powders are looser in their bottles than mine, or I'm tapping too high over the paper. I get either a vague blur or unblended sharp dots.
But by golly my rusted ironwork looks great.
A person like me would be tempted to color in the balloon and cut the sun from yellow and get blue for the sky inside the snow globe.
Mopsi and I are enjoying not freezing but the guy said I'll need a new fire box. We're expecting snow on Saturday. Hope your temperature extremes balance out, Elaine. We really do need our temperatures within a small range.

Pam ,thank you for the loads of scan luck, Andrew phoned last night at about 8.30 said he felt awful again and was going to bed , i hope he feels better today and can make the scan appointment . I bet it felt really festive to have the twins decorating the tree ,i miss my tree , we only have a small table one because we have no room , i am sat looking out at all the white stuff so my mind is made up and I aint going nowhere today .

I have loved your new die collections and have a few on my wish list for when my mojo kicks in and I have time to play again as 5 days aweek I have my 17 month grandson and also looking after my 87 year old Mum who has COPD, I have managed birthday cards and some simple christmas ones but still have a few to make but at this rate they might be ready for next year

I am almost done with my Christmas cards as of yesterday. Have a stack ready for mailing. I need to clear up all my craft clutter from the dining room table as it will be needed for meals with company. Still need to decorate the tree. That is the fun part. A glass of wine and Christmas music should do it.
Donita, stay warm and hopefully your heating will be fixed quickly. We have snow down here. Does everyone run out for bread and milk before a snow storm in RI or is that a Southern thing?
