    Marion hapoy holidays.
Carmen, hope the Canada Day celebrations go well. Enjoy.
Trying not to make you laugh but when I went into work yesterday, the cabinets had all been moved back. They had tried to take half iof our rest area to separate off for the managers daily meetings, the cabinets have now become mobile walls. Health & Safety said they had broken the rukes, you can't reduce a rest area so put it back. It's like Krystone Coos in there, daft thing is the whole ground floor is practically empty since Land Refustry moved out. Anither two staff left yesterday, so sad..
Hugs to all, have a great weekend, Sue is on Hichanda, yippee.
Thinking of all poorly snd missing friends.

  6. Morning Sue. What a gorgeous sample. I can't put into words just how much I love the inspiration you give me each day. I could write a book about all the struggles I have with this hobby of mine but I try lol as a certain person would agree very trying lol but that's life. So this is why I enjoy I work so much, it's so lovely to watch you work with confidence and so sure footed when I faff and fumble with almost every card I make ! That leads me to your shows this evening and I'm chuffed to bits that you are going to be show casing your brand new festive dies what a treat, and of course I shall be recording them for future inspiration.
I will finish by sending my congrats to fourpaws on your wonderful win, enjoy your special gift from the best of the best.
Sending love and Saturday hugs your way for an enjoyable time at the studio xxx

Congratulations to lucky Pawprintx4 (Stephanie K)!!! Enjoy your card!

Pam – So far, so good. If the wheatear specialist is right we have a chance to have a BBQ in the afternoon. Hubby bought mititei (or mici ) both words meaning "small ones", small sausages. It is a traditional Romanian dish of grilled ground meat rolls made from a mixture of beef,(lamb)and pork with spices, such as garlic, black pepper etc. It is often served with French fries, mustard , murături (Romanian pickles) and ... of course with a cold and foamy beer! You cannot have mici without beer!

    Have a good weekend everyone,
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only Canadian Wilsonette

  94. Good afternoon Sue and all the lovely Wilsonettes,
This is a lovely card Sue with the stain glass effect diecut and the pixie colouring it. I love the stain glass windows that are in churches and some of the larger houses, there is always something so exquisite about the talent that goes in to the arranging and cutting of the glass to make something so magnificent and your dies do that for us. I bought the stain glass christmas ones along with my Angel(that was a must) and perhaps one or two or perhaps 5 others ;D and it was hard to come to that limit, i can tell you. I think this one just might have to make it on to the needed list as well for other parts of the year that the christmas ones are just too christmassy to use. Thank you for enlightening us on just how you achieve such magical effects.
Pawprint x4 Stephanie, enjoy your wonderful treasure that is coming your way flower, as each week someone else has a one off beauty from the lovely lady that inspires each and everyone of us, so enjoy.
Well this week has been one of those that i didn't know if i was coming or going, trying to do umpteen things all at the one time and really battering myself up trying, so this weekend is going to be slow so that i have time to catch the breath that i have been short on all week. Why is everything comes along at the one time getting fired from all different sides and all needed for the same time? Yesterday was that bad that i had to say to my new nephew that if he wanted his haircut, he would be better waiting until today when i could actually see straight again otherwise he would have been flying to the barbers getting a razor job done all over, lol. His mum asked me last night if i had finished his birthday card? What birthday card? She had asked me to make a special card for him because she didn't know what she would do without him, as he did so much for her and she wanted to thank him. That being said i thought i would get that done this weekend and give it to her on Monday, but nooooooo, it was a birthday card for his birthday today. EEKKK,up to yone time last night digging out the dies to make a Stuart card and then trying to get it put together this morning. Tip!! don't have dark brown leather dining chairs when you are working with black card, as you lose your die cuts on them and spending so much finding what is under your nose, aaaaaaaaaaa.
Pam flower, you know that they promote the useless and inept upwards where they can do less damage and cause less mayhem. I can't remember going through the useless codes of practise that seems to be the norm for bosses in the C.S. but i suppose it might be part of their induction to see just how much chaos that you can cause and create with needing to be taught. We will keep up with the next round of disaster that they cause their staff because of their ineptitude, chin up flower.
It's so great to hear how much of a great time Andrew had with his friends, what a wonderful set of friends he has Elaine that they care that much.
Well Harry has just arrived telling me his name, Harry Fox and there is Daddy Fox, Gran Fox, Granddad Fox and Mummy Fox and trying to tell him that Mummy is not Mummy Fox is just messing with his mind, so we have gave up at the moment, lol.
Sending hugs to all the lovely Wilsonettes
    Love and crafty hugs

  96. Hi Sue. I don't have ths stained glass yet but it's definitely on my must-have list!! Already have the bonsai tree and the humming bird! I love them as they are so versatile. My grandchildren have all made stained glass wndows with them using Julia's technique of mixing distress re-inkers with clear varnish lacquer and painting the sections after glueing the die cuts to acetate. (Yes, they are all following in Jennie's footsteps!) Today's card is really lovely too. Take care. Diane (Cards2Di4) xx

  101. Hello Sue,

What a lovely and colorful card for this dreary Saturday here in the States. It's so hot and humid and raining, what a combination. I love this technique. I have a sheet of pixie powdered card that I think could benefit from the microbeads so I think I'm going to give them a try.

Congratulations to Stephanie on winning one of your gorgeous cards.

Looking forward to your shows this afternoon. Will eagerly be watching to see what lovelies you have created. Good luck with the shows today and tomorrow.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  117. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Gosh, what a fantastic card! I have really enjoyed today's card sample and demo, they were superb....i have a large unused tub of micro beads that are just begging me to use them on this design and with significant birthdays coming up I wouldn't be surprised if they make a showing. The pixie powders create such an opulent background, i really will have to complete my collection with the autumnal colours. I love the stained glass dies and was fortunate enough to receive them for my birthday from the very lovely, generous Yvonne....a rare tender moment between us, it didn't last long though:-) Thanks for the much appreciated and definitely needed inspiration Suexxx
Well, i am having a fabulous day! Calm has returned to Casa Eastwood and i received my prize from CE this morning which put a HUGE smile on my face! The dies are gorgeous and i feel truly inspired to craft with them quick smart. Added to this, i am currently enraptured by our lovely leader Sue who is showing my winning dies on Hochanda.....i have been working on my Mum for days now, hoping to batter down her defences and resistance to me buying any more dies, and thankfully my persuasive charms were triumphant:-) Having already won some of each ODS i decided to buy the other dies from Setcraft instead...more competitively priced.....so i am a very happy Wilsonette tonight! The shows are simply awe inspiring, i have really enjoyed seeing all of the new festive card samples and can't wait for them to have their day on the blog. The demos are really informative and I appreciated watching you use the Glitter Kiss. Can't wait for tomorrow's shows, they will definitely brighten up a dull Sunday.
Just to let those who actually care know:-), Yvonne is having a rough time of it just now and isnt feeling too bonny so i send her all my love and healing hugs, hoping that she's back to spar with me soonxxx
Carmen, hope you are enjoying your holiday weekend with your lovely boys....what age are they?....just asking:-)
Pam, enjoy your weekend off from that madhouse....they sound like they're one sandwich short of a picnic at your work! Hope you're chest bears up.
Diane, you're desserts sound fab, can i come?
Rosemary, well done in braving your scan, it was the EEG that i hated getting done....the glue is a nightmare to remove from your hair afterwards. Good luck with your results.
Huge hugs to all my besties, sorry if i havent mentioned you but I'm desperate to finish watching Sues shows on my Sky+

    Crafty hugs and love
