Hi bloggers!  What gal doesn't love a beautiful handbag??  I think this die set makes a great birthday card too.  Today's video will give you some ideas in ways in which you can use it in your crafting.

The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x  9" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Hello Sue, beautiful card, lovely handbag and flowers.
Laine, i am so very sorry to hear of how poorly you have been. It must be scary having these problems with your eyes, sight is so precious. Bless your Mum for being your PA, she is a gem. Hope you get well soon. Yvonne too, what a pair you are. Seriously girls, missing you both, take care, and keep the glitter for the cards Yvonne, it's not eye make up.
Elaine, good news about Andrew, glad he feels well after treatment. What a carry on you have to get in and out of your home. The Council have a legal responsibility to provide safe entry and exit for you. Get on to your MP if they won't act. How is your SIL, after her op, hope all went well.
Norah loved your tale about the wedding, I'm glad you had a lovely day though after all your rushing about.
Thank you June, I think you are too.
Have a lovely day everyone, hugs to all especially our poorly and missing friends and their carers.

  5. Morning Sue. A lovely sample for a damp miserable start up here in Lancashire. The only issue I have is that the gorgeous handbag looks overwhelmed by the other dies and it's beauty is lost, it could be that the colour is too similar and if the bag was a lighter contrasting shade or the other dies were lighter then your gorgeous bag would stand out more maybe ? I love all the other dies and they compliment your handbag beautifully, it's just that it's beauty is lost somewhere in the background and it's such a shame. I've done it again I'm afraid Sue, I've been to 'picky' ! Hope I've not offended.
Bug hugs and love coming your way, off to watch your tutorial xxx

  43. Morning Sue,

Another gorgeous creation from you. Love the combo and the dinky little handbag.

Playing catch up with comments from the weekend. Wimbledon takes up most of my viewing pleasures, I can craft as I watch without feeling too guilty about the housework (naughty swear word). That can wait, I only have 6 days left of my tennis holiday and no Fetes in the next couple of months so can indulge myself a bit or a lot.

Gurt big squashy hugs to all in need of one and to everyone else who would love one just because...

  56. Dear Sue and Fellow Amazed Blog Commenters,

How pretty, pretty, pretty this is! Not being very much a girly girl, I would do everything but the handbag, either putting a sentiment there or the center of one of the die sets.

Once I asked Sue if she cuts the middle out of the mirror card when she just needs an edge to show on the outside, instead of wasting all that valuable mirror under the central layer, and she said she does but not when she's demonstrating how to make the card, so as not to complicate the instructions.

It's pretty magical that suddenly pearls appeared on the border pieces without ever being put on! In the video anyway, unless I dozed off for that part.

Sharon, Laine and Yvonne, I hope you're feeling better by leaps and bounds. What a dearie pie your Mum is, Laine, typing your blog comments for you! I hope she reads this to you! She rocks and rolls, baby!

Thanks for the wedding tales, Mrs McPhee.

Best to you, Pam, Elaine and Rosemary, as you get things worked out.

And hugs to all who are too shy or polite to say they're struggling.

    Love,
    Donita
