Festive Collection

Hello bloggers!  We have reached the final post of the 2017 Christmas die launch.  It has been eight days of four posts each day showcasing 40 new die designs.  I do hope that you have enjoyed it as much as I have!  This final post is showcasing the Poinsettia Cluster die.  Designed in what is called a lazy C design, this die set has a lovely outline detail with three poinsettias as well as the matching three poinsettias which are separate so you can add the under or on top of the outline design.  The three flowers can easily be used separately to add small floral details as well.  One last time, I will ask you to leave a comment on the post in order to be included in this drawing.  You still have time to go back and add comments to any of the posts you may have missed.  Don't forget to check back to see if your name is on the winning list!  The drawing results will be posted on the blog on the afternoon of June 28th.  Thank you so much for taking the time to pop by the blog four times each day!  All for now, Sue x

  7. Hi Sue.
This card is just stunning. The red, of the poinsettia cluster, gives the card
a 'pop' of colour. This is one die I will certainly buy.

  10. Hi Sue and everyone,

What a final! How gorgeous and versatile is this delicate Poinsettia Cluster die. The card is equally elegant and beautiful. Love the background (new EF maybe?), the sentiment and the Poinsettia.
This June launch has been fantastic.Congratulations Sue! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win a Die but as others said before, we are all winners whether we win a Die or not as we have learned so much.

I do hope that some of the new names that have appeared during this launch will continue to visit your blog and not just disappear until the next one.

    In this note,
Good luck everyone and have a great day.

A special hug for you, Sue!

  11. Hi Sue, this may be a non-traditional style card but it is gorgeous and I love the Poinsettia Cluster and the way you have used it here. I look forward to seeing many more of your samples over the coming weeks. My favourites have to be the Forest Animals & the Birch Trees along with ALL of the ones containing poinsettias in one form or another and closely followed by everything else!

Yet again I would like to thank you for all the time and effort you put into designing beautiful dies and then creating lovely cards to show them off. Judging by all the comments your hard work has paid off and is very much appreciated by us all. I am sure that many stockists will soon be showing 'sold out' signs on their stock. Thank you.

  37. Good evening Sue and the Wilsonettes,
Well we come to the very last die that is on my need list as it can do so many things and make so many plain projects pretty, oh yes i do like this poinsettia cluster but hey that was going to be a forgone conclusion considering what it had in it's make up. And so Sue this comes just under my Angel and my holly swirl must haves/needs/craves. IT can make soft corners or circles or top and bottom an oval or be a border or encapsulate a sentiment or just that finishing touch, oh yes this has so many uses and purposes that it should be on everyones need list, but i could just be bias as i love Poinsettias', lol. Thank you Sue for a walk through the days of Christmas where we can enjoy the stroll before we have no time to think of anything else bar what have i forgot or who have i forgotten to buy for days that are more a nightmare than a pleasure because my energy has ran out and left me long before we even get to the day it's self.
Girls, i wish you all good luck with the draw and who ever is lucky enough to win one of these beauties, please enjoy the pleasure and happiness that you won brings with it.
Sending hugs to all the Wilsonettes old and new, have a good night.

  114. Hello Sue,
Well I've been waiting all week for this die to be showcased and it was worth the wait. It's definitely top of my list. I love all your cluster dies. I have the daisy cluster and am presently waiting for my star flower cluster to arrive and will have to have this one as well. I hadn't thought to use it diagonally across a card but will rectify that asap, it looks fabulous.
Many Congratulations Sue I think you have surpassed yourself with this collection, it's been a fabulous week and I have loved seeing your creations. Thank you for all your hard work and bless you for your generosity.

Donita Happy Birthday I hope you have had a wonderful day even though you were working. Loved your last comment to Sue.
Elaine, I hope Andrew has a wonderful time with his friends, catches the biggest carp and comes back with some wonderful memories.
Carmen it's so good to hear the kid is well enough to pay you a visit, give him a hug from me.
Yvonne, sorry you're not feeling brilliant, hope you are soon back in the fast lane.
Crewe Trish, I often stay with my daughter in Middlewich when I'm in the UK and there is a little shop quite near has a fabulous collection of Sues dies, can't remember the name but will find it for you if you want and if it wouldn't be too far for you to come.

Wishing each and every single one of you who have commented this week good luck in the draw.
    Love and hugs for all

  125. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

A superb card sample and die with which to end your impressive launch with....i am not alone in appreciating the poinsettia and this die is absolutely perfect. I love how you have used it diagonally across the card and incorporated a co ordinating EF to create a theme of sorts....such a layout could be used with your other cluster dies at any time of the year.
All good things must eventually come to an end and your festive launch is no exception:-( I have enjoyed every minute of it immensely and would like to thank you for all the hard work and dedication that has been invested by you into the production of the dies and the many card samples that have followed, it is much appreciated Sue. You have elevated so many peoples, me included, card making to new and previously out of reach levels, your dies are amazing and the card samples you create are truly awe inspiring.
I look forward to viewing more of these wonderful creations over the coming months through your YouTube videos and the Festive Friday card sample, they cannot come quick enough for me this year now that i have been suitably inspired and motivated by your launch.
I would like to wish every single person who has taken the time to comment the very best of luck in Sues generous draw.....i do hope also that we will continue to have the pleasure of your company when the launch ends because Sue really deserves to know just how much she and her work means to us all.
Donita, hope that you have had a fabulous day, enjoy your day off tomorrow and your craft crop on Saturday....I'm just a teeny bit jealous, crafting AND cake, mmmm!
Elaine, i hope Andrew has a very successful fishing trip with his mates, he deserves a relaxing break away during his holiday from the chemo sessions....i have my fingers crossed that his tackle produces the biggest Carp!
Yvonne my love, you are such a trouper, having a conversation with me when you are below par deserves a medal:-) Hope I left you feeling brighter and not suicidal!:-)
Wishing all my blog besties a lovely evening, see you all tomorrow xxx

a bit sad of these last glorious 8 days having come to an end but hey, we had a ball...

    LAST BUT NOT LEAST!!
A Stupendous final card, I would never have thought to use the cluster in such a way, but it's so effective and I will definitely be stealing that idea.
Poinsettia's are my favourite for a Christmas card, I adore them in white and this cluster will look absolutely stunning.
So, my 'must have now' list has increased again, but oh well, a girls got to have what a girl wants! Right?
