Festive Collection



Hi crafters!  The second post today is dedicated to the Ribbon Lattice die.  This is definitely one that can be used all year round as there is no obvious Christmas look to it. It does, however, look amazing when used with your festive dies so it makes the perfect partner.  This die can be extended to make a complete background, used as a striplet or even cut and used diagonally as I have done here.  Think about using it behind your shapes as added detail or even cut it down and use it as a partial die cut.  Leave a comment on this post if you like what you are seeing!  I will be back at 3pm for the next post.  All for now, Sue x

    I have just had this lovely lattice die delivered and it is gorgeous by I wouldn't have thought of a full background like you gave - that's why you are the designer and I'm not. Beautiful card and how fabulous are your poinsettias. Anither stunning hit.

    Tres, I don't think you would be on this blog and not be a Sue die shopaholic, I know I am. Anyway what's wrong with beans on toast, vary the bread and different beans, Steve will never know.

    All that I look for in a true 'Sue' card - absolutely stunning, love it!! A great die so suppose will have to forget the self-imposed buying ban for this one. Ah well, the flesh is weak!
    Julie Laz - if you read this... bypassed Swansea on the M4 today and there was a car reg: JLZ + a single digit, but it didn't appear to have a Lee lookalike driving!

    This cracking die is crammed full of possibilities, it may be in the festive launch but as you point out there is nothing in it that would limit it strictly to the Christmas theme. The scope for this die is endless, its lovely used as a background feature as shown in your card sample...i just love lattice detailing, mainly because you can decorate it rather prettily with pearls:-) You have succeeded in creating a collection that has great versatility which is far kinder to the pocket, thanks Sue:-)
