Tropical Collection

Hi bloggers!  This one just makes me want to say ohhhhhh, I hope it has the same effect on you too!  This post is spotlighting two new sets: the Island Paradise and the On The Beach sets.  I have used elements from both of them to create this lovely silhouette card.    I hope you will be able to just picture yourself in this scene as I know you will be picking these sets up to use time and time again.  I have added the Pin button to all of the posts too so please feel free to pin the cards or the dies to remind you.  Leave a comment and then you just have to wait until 3pm for the next post today.  All for now, Sue x

    Oh Sue
    I am no longer in Croydon - I am on an exotic tropical Island watching the sun go down over the still beautiful ocean and I haven't a care in the world. I am wearing my designer one piece and designer sarong and my designer flip flops are beside me as I wriggle my toes in the warm sand. The rather handsome young waiter, who I think has taken a bit of a shine to me, is coming towards me with a twinkle in his eye and a tequila sunrise. What happens next is not really suitable reading for those of a nervous disposition but I can assure you it was extremely enjoyable x
    Yes Sue it certainly made me say ohhhhhhhh x
    And it certainly transported me to the idyllic scene which you have so cleverly created x
    The most exciting thing is that these dies were delivered this morning by my rather frightened postman - frightened because I saw him coming and attacked him as I wrestled my post from him. Note to self - probably should apologise next time I see him!!
    I really should get myself in amongst my crafty stash with my new toys but got to say that session with said Waiter has worn me out. Lol. Must away and make myself presentable in case he comes back x

    Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

    This card is so evocative, lazy days lounging on a beach in the sun spring to mind....love Yvonne's description, could join her on that beach, relaxing with a cocktail served to me by a shirtless Adonis, mine would, naturally, be better looking than Yvonne's young man and she would be slightly miffed and very jealous:-) I Would be coy and flirtatious with my buff waiter, not slutty and available to anyone with a pulse like my companion, and we would sit and watch the sun go down as he gave me a foot massage...that's as racy as I can manage nowadays....oooh Sue, you have made my afternoon with such visions of perfection:-)
    These die sets, as the previous offerings, would be ideal for scrapbooking and really inspire me to get out my albums again. I love the warm oranges and yellows of this card sample, simply beautiful, it reminds me of a Caribbean beach...not that I've ever been to one, but we can dream! The Tropical Collection is a wonderful concept and one you should be justifiably proud of, you never fail to surprise with your ideas.

    This is really lovely! Unfortunately only a dream today - many a lovely scene could be created with this set! It's beautiful! I love the colours used and that's my chair!
    Pam - you would never retreat buying one - they are sooo comfortable! They last for a very long time! We have had ours for 17 years now!
    However the Dies are cheaper!!
    Just about to go and do a " Laine" - having my nails done! Then I'll feel groomed again! Making myself sound like a horse!!

    great dies again!

    I've got a general question wich has to do with copyright. An example: If I would diecut the palmtree and I would cut one leaf off or glue another leaf to the tree and I would show the card with this palmtree on a blog, would this be allowed? could you answer me at maxi1000(at)gmx.net?     Hi Sue and everyone

    This card definitely makes me say ohhhhhhh. Just lovely. Beautiful Caribbean sunset in my eyes.

    Definitely wish I was there now. Had physio then a walk into town. Into our Museum Gardens where there were owls on display, squirrels darting around eating nuts, blue tits, finches and even a tiny little mouse. The blossom trees were glorious and the sky a beautiful blue. I really enjoyed myself. However, by the time I got home I was freezing!

    So yes I can imagine 'being in the card' right now. I'd have Yvonne and Laines waiter, but only to bring me a refreshing cocktail!

    Hello Sue,

    "Take Me Away" to the same destination as Yvonne and Loraine, however I want my own gorgeous islander, I'm not into sharing but we can meet up later by the beach for a nice tropical cocktail.

    These dies are so delightful and will be lots of fun to use to create some wonderful cards, not the type of typical dies that I think of though when I think of Sue.
