  1. Morning Sue. Pixie's + foam = elegance, beauty and another gorgeous Sue Wilson work of art. Pixie's + foam = a sheer disaster for this Muppet lol. I can't even get a good outcome with water Sue let alone the foam that I bought about 4 years ago to try the 'original' foam technique and never have !! So I shall be heading straight to the how to video as soon as my keeper and his four legged friend has left for the country park, this I have to see, and I can't wait ☺
Many congratulations to Freedom, you have an exquisite card to look forward to coming through your post box - enjoy x
Sending hugs your way for a lovely day xxx

  6. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, wow this is a lovely card, using the pixie powders, I will check out the video later when I have my breakfast.

Congratulations to Freedom99, enjoy your prize.

Elaine, Andrew has the right idea, keep mind and body busy and active, he is responding well xx My heart goes out to Helen and her family, I know she feels awful that she cannot be with her Mum at this time but like all Mum's she knows that Helen cares and is still holding her hand albeit from far away, distance knows no bounds where love is concerned. xx

Pam wishing you a very, very happy birthday today, enjoy yourself, we miss you terribly on the top spot. big hugs my friend. xx

To everyone who is suffering or troubled, I wish you peace and comfort, to all those lucky bloggers who are going travelling, have a safe journey and a wonderful time. remember we have Sue's new release to look forward too.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  15. Morning Sue, another pretty card today. I have lots of Pixie powders, but I haven't used shaving foam as yet. The first time I used pixie powders, it looked like a mud bath, think I mixed the wrong colours. Since then I have managed to get some stunning results, all trial and error, so I will definitely try shaving foam.
    Have a lovely weekend.

  33. Never got the hang of shaving foam, Sue, perhaps not having the right inks even though I tried so hard - and it's messy, so thank heavens have no pixies so won't be tempted again! Borrowed Mr P's foam, promising the holy grail, he did laugh at the reveal! However, you have a lovely effect here and it makes a great background to a pretty card. Thanks as ever for the video, you make it all look so easy.
Pleased to see you yesterday, Pam, have a lovely day. Missed you 'up top'.
PP - hope the holiday gives you some great r-e-l-a-x time.
Carmen - facial?? Need a major face lift (+ other bits) since everything headed south long ago!!
Laine - guess your ginger boy has many friends? Hope so.
Well done to Freedom99 on the card win.

  37. Hi Sue,

Haven't tried the Pixie powders with shaving foam yet...I can imagine the mica would really shine in real life...sadly the lighting in the pic doesn't do it justice and even makes the treat cup look like it's slipped off although the close-ups show that it's just the shadows...off to watch the video now to see how you did it...

    Congratulations to Freedom99!

I love this card, especially your gorgeous flowers, and I was engrossed watching the video. I loved the effect you got from the shaving foam and pixie powder background. So much so I went and looked for a can of shaving foam I had squirrelled away in the bathroom cabinet. However having found it I ended up using it for its original purpose - not on my face I hasten to add! That prompted me to jump in the shower, which led to my washing my hair, then a toe nail manicure. Dried off and decided to go the whole hog and use my expensive body lotion. My toes looking nice by this time I ended up painting my nails. So thank you Sue for the inspiration!!! It's amazing where this blog leads to.

Pam Happy Birthday, hope you had a wonderful day, missed seeing you at your number one spot.

Sue, I love this card. I've never tried the shaving foam technique and bought pixie powders when they were first available but they are still in the bag! Really must have a go as you always make it look so easy and the results are amazing.

I am very pleased with World Figure Skating Championships results: Canadian ice dancers captured global gold today, for the third time and two Canadian ladies won silver and bronze yesterday.

  114. Super card and a brilliant video. Creating backgrounds from shaving foam is such fun so this may actually get me opening those pixie powders. My granddaughters loved using shaving foam with inks to make backgrounds and it worked just as well using the supermarket's own cheapest foam as my first attempt when I used by husband's pricier brand.

Congratulations Freedom99 on your card win.

My comment game prize arrived today so I'm a happy bunny.

Pam, hope you had a lovely birthday.

    Take care everyone.
