Rosemarie, your die win was a perfect choice for you to remind you of your mum. I too have ordered that die.
Carmen, our Charity team at work has been contacted by a teacher who goes to help Romanian children every Juky, we are now knitting hats for them to help keep them warm. It's a short time span but we should get a couple of hundred done, starting mine this weekend.

  30. Morning Sue, I love this !! I will be giving this a try !! I have been trying out the hand sanitizer technique with the fishbowl and cat card, but I'm having great difficulty haha !! I think I put a bit too much hand stuff in my first try and it is squelching up to the edge where the glue is, I am now trying my second attempt with not as much hand stuff in, my fingers are crossed, I will be using up all my treat cups at this rate hahahaha. The card is for a friend's birthday on 8th May and I'm thinking of trying this for my Brother in Law who has his 70th birthday on the same day. I will be watching the video intently as I can't remember how you affixed the porthole door when I saw you do a similar card on tv.

    Where has the week gone?
This is a super card for the right person but unfortunately apart from Saba I don't have anyone for whom I would make cards like this. It doesn't stop me admiring them and your ingenuity in thinking of them though! I think it would make a great Bon Voyage card. Saba is a sailor but she loves pink and flowers so I'm ok!!
Someone asked what we bought while away! Quite a variety of things, cardigans, trousers, skirt, Molton Brown products, tops, a few Dies , paper pads , shoes, and cuddly toy!!, no the last one is a fib I just thought it was like being on the Generation Game!
Carmen - you probably don't know about the Generation Game - it was a Game Show on TV a long time ago!
    Congratulations Atenight Sandy!
Welcome Rosemary to a lovely blog!

Sarah's appointment was a waste of time, there was supposed to be a multidisciplinary meeting after her last appointment to review her treatment but it never happened so we are no further on. The only good news is the X-rays showed that the scoliosis hasn't got worse in the last six months.

  105. Hi Sue,

What a beautiful surprise! It’s a lifesaver for so many of us who have hard time finding a theme for a male card.Love the design, the colors, the set dies and the opening porthole is a lovely touch.Thank you for sharing, for the inspiration and great video.

    Latenight Sandy H - Congratulations!

Pam – So nice of you and your Charity team to help Romanian children. People like you and your co-workers make a difference in so many people’s lives. Please send my thanks to the rest of your team! Special hugs to you and your wonderful Charity team.
Rosemary Gladstone – I am new to card making, too. Sue’s videos are amazing! She makes things so clear and I learnt so much from each tutorial. OK, it is different story when you try to do it by yourself, but for sure you’ll have fun. Good luck!
Elaine – Hope Andrew and Helen will have a good time. Sending my daily hugs to you all.
Maria, ‘P’ in Wales- My dear ladies, I had no doubt that you read my short or long comments and sometimes you were amused by my jokes at Laine and PP. As you can see, they both left me, but who needs them when I have you two, Myra, Maureen, Saba and of course Pam plus the rest of Wilsonettes :)
Myra – Yes, Generation Game was too long ago, as Maureen said it was years before my time :), but I checked on the net to have an idea ... funny games.
Maureen – Did PP call you? Oh dear, poor you, what you had to endure. Are you up for the next shock, a phone call from Laine, maybe? Do you know what these two have in common, beside the fact that both believe to be Sue’s favorite (let them dream about it)? Both have long claws and good jokes ha ha ha
Laine, PP – Hope both of you are OK and I don’t miss you ... at all.

    Have a great Sunday ladies,
Still a newbie to Craft / not longer the newest, or the only Canadian Wilsonette

First of all, super card today and just when I needed some inspiration for a male card.

I can hardly contain myself at the moment. I've had a busy day and was popping by before going to bed and see that I've won this week's card giveaway. Thank you, so much, Sue. I'll have to get the duster out in my craft room tomorrow. I'm so excited I can't go to bed until I've calmed down a bit. Thanks ladies for your congratulations.

    Take care everyone.

  108. Hello Sue,

What a delightful and fun card. I love the nautical theme and all the elements pertaining to it. The fact that you can open the porthole is pure genius. Great card for anyone who loves boating and the sea as well as males.

Congratulations to Sandy on winning the card giveaway.
