Finishing Touches

Hi crafters!  Last on the poll for today is the new Spring Daffodils.  Shown here, they look lovely when used with the Easter Basket, but you also had a sneak peek at them during the last blog post with the Hobnail Vase.  These daffodils have been designed so that you can make the trumpet part of the flower 3D or there is a single trumpet that can be cut and glued onto each flower for a flatter version as well. You can be the artist for whichever look you desire for these beauties.  There are three different flowers varying in height and shape so you can make more realistic looking arrangements too.  I think you will find that they mix and match with other flowers in my range too so you will have endless ways in which to use this die set.  Let me know what you think by leaving your comment on this post and maybe even winning this set!  I'll be back at 6am for the start of the final day of the bog launch. All for now, Sue x

  22. Evening Sue. This card is right up my street for Easter, its gorgeous with the Easter Basket. Beautiful colours with clean lines. These dies are on my list with most of the Finishing Touches from this new launch. They are going to be so versatile for mixing and matching with most of the Finishing Touches that i have. Thanks for a great show this afternoon, your demos were fantastic and loved the tip for the hand sanitiser with the two treat cups for the bubbles and the crackle backgrounds. I have made the background and put a couple of treat cups together ready to have a go at making some of your nautical card over the next couple of days. Cant believe that its a week tomorrow that you started your new blog launch the time has just flown over. See you bright and early in the morning.

What a fabulous card to end the day. Love the colors, the embossed background and the new flower die, as well. Flower dies are always useful, and these Daffodils are no exception. I am sure that they will get a lot of use by the person lucky enough to win them. I have the basket so this new set is on the long-long wish list.

Well, what a lovely end of a lovely day. This card is absolutely gorgeous, and your tulips are such a clever design.

  95. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

This is perhaps the nicest daffodil die that I have ever seen, the 3D trumpet is fantastic and really adds to the authenticity of the flower....it looks great in this card sample, makes me wish that I had bought the Easter Basket die because this card is fabulous. Even the embossed background and oval frame is great, cant quite believe the amount of ideas that seem to ooze from your every pore, it's ridiculous:-)
What a fantastic day, the ongoing treats on the blog launch, then your Hochanda show PLUS the final ever episode of Broadchurch....have you guessed who did it yet Carmen, I think it might be the lad who fiddled with the computer for Trish's ex husband but I'm probably totally wrong because they all look guilty:-)
Anyway, that's at 9pm, at the moment I want to congratulate Sue on her fantastic show....and yes, I bought the dies, EF's, card pack AND stamp sets and treat cups, my Mums Easter treat to me, so much better than a chocolate egg!:-)
I really enjoyed the demos, particularly the fish bowl one....LOVE the cat stamp, sooo cute! Using the hand wash to give the illusion of water is ingenious, just hope I can find some! I really wish we could have you on our screens more, i am greedy, i hope you will be back with us soon but I can't blame you being drawn to the perpetual sunshine in Florida though:-)
Myra, i am gutted for you all that Maureen probably wont make your get together, i wish her a speedy recovery though and hope that she gets home soon. Hope you are well too honeyxxx
Saba, looks like you will have to keep Myra in line in Maureen's absence, are you up to the challenge?....i told you that rope would come in handy!:-)
June, hope your mouth is healing nicely.
Elaine, i am really competitive with board games too, they say that it is really beneficial for future happiness that couples play together so Helen and Andrew have great foundations....if I was Helen I'd have put the stakes higher though, a new pair of shoes minimum I'd say!:-)
Yvonne, sorry that you're feeling rough honey, hope you pick up soon, after all, you have a conversation with me to look forward to as a reward:-)
Off to watch Broadchurch now, so excited.......
Hugs to all my besties, hope you had an enjoyable Bank Holidayxxx

  124. Hi Sue, my apologies for the lateness of the hour but I was distracted by a jigsaw that hubby and I are doing. I have always loved jigsaws but thought that really they were a bit of a waste of time (when I could be crafting in one way or another) so when the Occupational Therapist noticed that we had a stack of them and said that it was excellent therapy I decided that it was actually a 'good thing' to help my OH with his exercises lol.

I love, love this card. The basket is on my wish list and I intend to get it before next Easter but the daffodils will go on the must-have list to be purchased very soon (along with all the other flowers in this release) and whichever other dies my poor purse can extend to. Loved your demo's, especially the cheeky cat watching the fish bowl :-)

Laine - if you can demean yourself by visiting the £1 shop you should find they have packs of two or three bottles of hand sanitiser for the obvious price. Hope all goes well for
    your mum tomorrow.

  166. Perfect timing with this daffodil die release. Our daffodils did wonderfully this year and I can see making a card with a clump of them just like they grow in my garden. Thank you for always thinking of us users when designing your dies and giving us different heights and thickness on these beauties. I will cherish them like I cherish the real ones in my garden. They look so realistic and beautiful in your basket card.

I still like your basket. What speaks Spring more than daffodils? And here you have a basket full of daffodils. I so much like that you included a flat daffodil corolla for added design and ease in posting one's card. You think of everything in designing your dies to make cardmaking so complete.
