Gemini Dies

Hello crafters!  The second Gemini die on offer this release is the new Cassiopeia.  Shown here in this sample, you can see how beautiful it is.  This die works wonderfully as a petticoat card, edge or side borders, backgrounds, you name it!  This die can produce all the looks you want to add to your creations!  Don't forget to hover over the pictures if you would like to add any of the samples to your Pinterest boards, or even add the die packaging to remind you too.  I would really love to hear what you think so far, any favourites yet?  Again, I will remind you to leave a comment if you would like a chance to win this one.  One comment per post please, but feel free to comment on each and every blog post if you want to increase your chances of walking away with a winning die!  The next post is scheduled to pop online at 3pm and I will be showcasing the new striplets then.  I hope you can join us back here for that one!  All for now, Sue x

  7. Afternoon Sue and all Wilsonettes, well I have just finished my ironing and thought oh it is time for Sue's blog, and what a wonderful surprise I got, this Cassiopeia Gemini die is gorgeous, even more of a lace pleat then the previous one, how do you think up all of these names, I suspect they are a place but I have never heard of them, anyway back to the card, yes this is one of my favourites, mind you the list is getting longer and longer.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  24. Oh my Sue, both the new Gemini dies are so delicate looking and I know it's been mentioned in the 6am post, cut in white or milk card would be perfect for those gorgeous wedding cards we all enjoy making, and I'm thinking vintage lace as well as Spanish/Portuguese lace. Some dies and folders are made for vellum and I think that both these new Gemini beauties long to be cut with such a delicate way, can you imagin just how pretty even wax paper would look as it's such a delicate looking die and such a pretty, intricate design I'd certainly be tempted to use wax paper with my precious Foundation card (esp my Blush card which I can't now replace ! I see the prettiest Flower Girl baskets being adorned with this gorgeous collection (using your new basket die of course) and Jeannine using it to enhance her lovely boxes for her stunning cards. I can't wait for Beverley's wrist to heal so we can see what she does with it and Hetty - in fact i cant wait to see ALL variations from your samples and from the lovely members on your follower based fb group, so much to look forward to and even more amazing collections to see throughout the day. Thank you Sue xxx

  28. Hi Sue, Cassiopeia is one of the few constellations that I can still recognise (star-gazer's badge over 50 years ago lol) but I am sure that I will remember this beautiful die. It is perfect for petticoats but I can also see it peeping out from behind other larger dies. Really looking forward to 3pm and seeing what you have created with the striplets but I may be late as one of the cats has to go to the vet's for her annual booster.

  68. Hello Sue,
Well another gemini beauty for our tool kit of essentials but it reminds me off a tiara that the Queen or a princess might wear with its intricacy and delicacy. Cut out in the white or off white always looks so pretty to me but there again i do like when you make all white cards and although this has a rubbing of colour over the top part of the card, the bottom petticoat doesn't so shows off it's beauty for all to see. thank you flower for another beautiful die to add to our collection.

  77. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I thought Antilia was deliciously intricate and couldn't be surpassed but then along comes Cassiopeia in her glory, she is beautiful and detailed. This card sample shows her in all her beauty, the petticoat detailing is superb and i love the colour of the embossed card, how did you achieve it? With colour clouds i wonder?
Because you have demonstrated the new collection dies so stunningly it is near impossible to narrow down my favourites, in fact apart from the candy machine which hasn't yet sung to me, i think that i will be making every effort to buy all of release. Its so hard to prioritise though, i think that i may have to employ Beth's idea of using a hat but I'm greedy and want them all at once!
Tina, you are so brave and strong, my heart breaks for you but i know that you have the strength to see you through this. Thinking of you every day honeyxxx
Frances, good luck at the vets, i have my annual trip in February, and i hope I don't get another telling off for Brodie's weight...i think that since he's been given his freedom to wander off the lead he's lost some weight but his addiction to Dreamies is getting out of control#bad mum!
Yvonne, stop making out you're a domestic goddess, you always turn a blind eye to the dust and clutter so today is nothing new:-) Go on, blame it on your physical limitations when in fact your just idle, you're fooling no one:-)
Elaine, glad Andrew is feeling a bit better, long may it continue, hugsxxx

  148. Hi Sue,
Oh what a dazzler you have here. Who wouldn't love to receive a card like this especially on Valentine's Day. The pixie powder background is so sweet and I'm hoping that is a new embossing folder coming soon. The Cassiopeia die is gorgeous. Looks like the most elegant lace you could ever find and now we can make it in every color and material.
