Atlantic Ocean Collection


Hi there my crafty friends!  The last post for the day is showcasing the remaining two die sets in the Atlantic Ocean Collection.  We have the Cape Verde die set and the Atlantic Ocean Borders and Corners die sets on offer.  Shown here, the sample showcases one of the matching Stamp To Die For designs for the Cape Verde die set.  Don't forget to "pin" and leave your comment for the drawing!  Well that is day four down and dusted.  There are still two more full days for this blog launch. I hope you will join us back here at 6am for the launch of new Frames & Tag dies.  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue, I'm loving the whole Atlantic Ocean Collection. It looks like the Azores, Bermuda & Cape Verde will worked together to offer the opportunity for stepped frames as with previous die releases. I do hope so as I love this feature.     Such a lovely card that just shouts out that it is Springtime. I really enjoy all of the matching stamps although I don't find myself using them much, they all are so pretty. This is another lovely die set with all the smooth curves, a wonderful collection. This whole set is more me.

    Wow Sue, you're spoiling us with all these new dies and the cards you are making with them are fab, I don't have a favourite just yet as they are all great and have so many uses by the look of it so each one is very, very versatile.

    I'd love to have them ALL in my crafty stash but for now they are on my wish list and I'll be adding them as funds allow.

    I bet you're planning the next release as we speak - give us a bit more time to gather the funds though......

    Parts of the Atlantic set reminds me of Poirot and the age his flat was in with all it's beautiful art deco furniture and building, well parts of this set has those familiar lines to them but i do like how we can stamp a design onto a die blank and get as equally bonnie card as we would if other parts of the dies set were used. Thank you flower for another piece of inspiration to get our wee hamsters running turning the wheels in our brains,

    Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

    I always enjoy your samples that involve your stamping range, you colour so beautifully, it impresses me every single time and I am reminded of how enjoyable and rewarding this technique can be. The intricacy of these new dies are impressive, very Art Deco in design I feel which always appeals to me. I love how you've carefully picked the colours used in your colouring and matched them to your backing papers.....a truly stunning card and accompanying dies. Congrats on yet another day of fabulous dies and card samples Sue, i so appreciate all of the hard work and effort you put in on our behalf and am really looking forward to our next instalment.
    Thought i would have plenty of time to devote to the launch reveals today however i was waylaid slightly by the Australian Open tennis final between two of my all time favourite players.....since it took place at 8am our time, far too early for my liking, i recorded it and planned to watch it this afternoon instead. I carefully avoided the internet, newspapers, tv and radio so that I didn't spoil the surprise then just as i was about to watch it our delivery arrived from Sainsbury's ........that in itself wasn't the issue, my Mum made the mistake of mentioning that we were going to watch it and the delivery man said "well, Federer won and I lost a 100pound bet!" It totally ruined our experience! Still watched it though because it was a five set thriller but it has occupied much of my time today, i promise to be a more devoted Wilsonettes tomorrow:-)

    This is a really beautiful set of Dies! I'm afraid I love the whole set . It's been a most enjoyable few days and we are still going strong!
    Pat L - I almost ( note the almost) feel like setting my alarm for 6am! I'd just like to know what Maureen does at the " foot of her stairs!"

    These are both great sets. One makes me think of art deco and the other is giving a feel of zendangle going on with one of the other sets in the release. Everything blends so beautifully which is why I love your dies so much.

    I like this Cape Verde die set. I make more rectangle cards here in the USA. This must be the year of the Dogwood. I am very fond of dogwoods and like the dogwood stamp. As a child, the edge of the woods were full of those lovely white flowers mixed in with beautiful Redbud trees blooming at the beginning of Spring. Unfortunately, the dogwoods have almost all been killed out in this area and I miss them. Wishing you a blessed week.
