You're Delightful

Hello there my crafty friends!  I almost forgot about this pretty card, it pays to take a look back through some of my folders every once in awhile, don't you think?  I cut a piece of coconut white card as my background.  I added a Swiss Border cut out of white to the right side of it.  On the left I cut a Double Pierced Noble Circle, then cut it in half and lined it up with the edge of the card  It served as a nice backdrop for the Ornamental Accents that I cut and  lined up like a fan on top of it.  I accented them with an Exquisite Poppy cut from wisteria card.  The Lace Edged Leaves and some white satin ribbon embellished the flower.  I stamped a sentiment and cut the small die from the Zurich set to accent it.  I added it to the Belgian tag which was cut in white then inked through the die with Chic Viola Colour Cloud ink.  The card was completed with a white on white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Tracey, I so sorry to read your sad news. You have had such a terrible year but your strength and adversity have overcome all in your path. Just keep your loved ones in your heart and they will always be with you. A quiet Christmas may be the best thing for you this year, big hugs for you and your family.
Elaine, I hope Andrew is feeling better today, he is a fighter.
Tina, I hope Peter is feeling better today, it is like a roller coaster with ups and downs.
June and Sharon my continued good wishes for a speedy recovery.
Tina hope Mick is getting bit stronger too.
This time last year, little Molly and her family faced losing their home, wherever you are Molly I hope you have a happier Christmas this year.
Ladies thank you for your lovely comments, you are a pretty special bunch.

  18. Morning Sue. You are delightful. Your heart is delightful, as is your blog, and this sample to start our week is exactly that. It may look like a pretty iced snow scene outside with everything glistening and sparkling like I've lost grip on my diamond sprinkles, but I know where I'd rather be, inside the best, craftiest, warmest blog in craft world. I have these laced edged leaf dies out on my table ready to cut and use on a 50th birthday card I've been asked for and it's their debut card as I've owned them for some time but always seemed to reach for your other leaf dies - don't know why as they are so different and pretty.
It's a pretty start to our week and makes my mouth water for more so I look forward to the rest of your inspiration, in the meantime I'll send you my usual hug for the day and hope it's a good one for you xxx
