Hello there my crafty friends! Here is a card for you! I thought it would be nice to show this card today so you know that there are also matching Stamps To Die For to go with the new release we just previewed last week. I started by using the centre die from the Trellis Edger and cut it five times across a piece of coconut white card. I backed it with white for a tonal look. Next I stamped the Spring Flower Wreath stamp in black on to white card. I coloured it with Distress Markers for a bright look. I cut it with the matching outer cutting edge from the Fiji die set and mounted it with foam in the centre of the card. I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the oval from the Pacific Ocean tag and added it to the middle of the card. Using the Striped Nasturtium solid flowers, I cut several of each size and made some flowers by inking the edges and spritzing them with water. I attached them around the focal element and seated them on leaves from the Family Tree. I completed the card with a white on white mat. The finished dimensions are 6" x 6 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Gorgeous card Sue, brightens up my cold dark Monday. It's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteMyr, thank you for update on Emily, so good to hear that she is thriving and eating well, but so scary that her attack can't be explained, will keep her in our prayers.
June, good news about the knee, you are getting there, hope physio tomorrow is not too arduous.
Elaine, I'm sorry that Andrew still isn't doing too well, it's hard when something intended to help makes it worse, I hope the hospital can suggest an alternative.
Tina, good news that Peter is not in pain, hope they can sort swelling out soon.
Tina and Mick, hope all is well.
Laine, bless you, that migraine is still hanging around, hopefully gone today.
Tracey, have a good 2nd week at work, glad you are managing so well.
Hugs to all poorly, missing friends and all on the blog.
Morning Sue, a gorgeous card. Off out to scrape card they are frozen this morning.
ReplyDeleteNancyd xx
Beautiful card today Sue. Had a special lesson on stamping from John last week. I have major problems with my hands but hopefully the tricks John showed me will help and I'll finally be able to stamp again.
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting.

Really pretty card, Sue, love the lattice background and the LEAVES! Will have to get that tree for sure. Colouring as accomplished as ever, flowers gorgeous. Nice one.
ReplyDeleteMyra - continued good wishes for Emily, do hope she is on the road to recovery now.
Best wishes to all poorly people and missing friends esp Wheely. Hugs to the deadly duo, missing the banter.

Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, such a stunning card today Sue, love the stamps and the colouring especially the additional flower on the front, but I also like the new striplet you have used in the background.
ReplyDeleteThank you to everyone asking after my knee op, getting there, took the dressing off yesterday as it was clean so left it off, will be having a phone call from SEPT team today but I think that will be the end of it from them, then physio tomorrow. All is going well.
Myra Florida - my prayers are with Emily, is it hard to explain these things but god is not ready for her yet.
Laine and Yvonne I do hope the migraine has eased today.
Elaine I know Andrew is struggling following the calorie powder, perhaps they can suggest something else which will suit him better.
Tina T, how is Peter doing today.
Tracey, how was your first week back ?.
Sending lots of hugs to all who are suffering or in pain xxx
Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx
Morning dear friend. Thank you for reigniting springtime this cold frosty Monday. It's so pretty and colourful, just what we need to keep a smile on our faces especially now my house detention has truly begun 😢
ReplyDeleteFrom the Lattice Edger to the very last leaf you put into place they all work together so beautifully. The star of the show for me is the new Nasturtium (had to scroll back up to get the correct spelling lol) and the close up stills show just how pretty the leaves are from your Family Tree die. All in all a heart warming start to the week.
My list of Shadow box accessories were handed over last night once I could feel the pen between my fingers to re-write my 'best sellers' for market, and I got that cheeky smile back I know so well, so I look forward to playing and making some lovely cards ready for the new year to offer to those people that approach my table, something totally different for them to browse through and hopefully buy fingers crossed to help my Peirced Noble collection fund grow.
I will leave you with my usual friendly hug and hope you have a nice day ahead xxx
Such a gorgeous card Sue. I inspire to be a tad as good as you are one day. Thankyou xx

ReplyDeleteGood morning Sue and crafters all,
ReplyDeleteLovely card this morning, one forgets about the stamps that accompany the dies, this one is very pretty and colouring very subtle.
Love the lattice edger and also the Nasturtiums when spritzed with water and scrunched leap of the card.
Pam - well Peter's appetite is certainly back. Made a batch of scones yesterday to have with jam and clotted cream (started making with buttermilk) yummy . He had a full roast beef dinner last night followed by the above.
I got up this morning to find only 3 scones left - when tackled about them said the Gremlin ate them as well as two little jelly and mandarin pots.
His leg is still swollen.
June Smith - Peter is going on ok , the swelling is still there but not in pain. I think that I have his pain as my knees are very sore and still.
Glad you have finally got the dressing off, hope physiol goes well, please don't overdo it.
Love and crafty hugs to all,
Tina T xxxx

Pam, Andrew is going to the hospital today if he gets no joy from his GP, he just can not carry on like this, since taking this powder his stomach has blown up and he is in constant pain yet again , so i just hope there is an alternative . On a more positive note he had the stitches taken out of his forehead on Friday with no problems,so at least something has gone right for him .

ReplyDeleteMorning Sue, a beautiful card. I really love the Trellis Edger and the Pacific Ocean Dies are top of my list for Santa. I love that there are stamps to go with these dies but unfortunately my stamping and colouring never look like yours, so instead I tend use dies as I usually get a perfect finish.

ReplyDeleteAnne xo
Good morning Sue,
ReplyDeleteOh what a pretty card this is today all in white and the focal image coloured. I do like when you do a stamp to match in with the outline dies as it gives so many other opportunites to make something unique and different, even if the same stamp is being used over and over again. Thank you flower for such a pretty start to the morning and try and have a reasonably quiet day if you can, ha ha ha.
Sorry folks i'm running after everybody this morning and not got time for me so i will send hugs to all that need, want or could do with them,

ReplyDeleteHello my blog buddies, I am so sorry I have not been involved lately. I will have a catch up with everyone's news when I can.
My news is that I am recovering from yesterday's trip to the NEC. I used my scooter it today I am exhausted, my back is sore but my friend and her daughter were lovely to me and I had a fab time. amongst other things I bought the holly octagonal frame and Bora Bora. Also got a couple of gliding polishes to try. Tomorrow morning I am off to hospital to have Boyle in my bladder so might be out of action for a couple of days. I have started dieting again and last week I lost 4 pounds. I forgot to weigh myself this morning so must remember tomorrow. I am enjoying the control and will be ok as long as I see results.
Take care my friends.

ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
ReplyDeleteThis card is very delightful. I have never been keen on rubber stamping, I could never get the pressure correct. After watching you do various rubber stamping, and some of the designs are gorgeous, you have started me again on rubber stamping.
This is absolutely gorgeous so I will get this stamp too.
Love n hugs from Dorothy of Baldock
