Finishing Touches
Hi crafters! Last, but certainly not least, we have finally come to the end of the 2016 die release blog launch. This post features the new Striped Nasturtium die set. You have seen this die on so many of the samples done in various ways throughout the entire launch, but here is one more showing the flowers in their variety of sizes in a wreath design. I have added stamens to these too so you can see how cute they look with them as well. This set has three sizes of solid flowers with their three matching outlines die shapes too. Again, more versatility that way. For the final time, I ask you to leave a comment to be entered into the drawing to win this set. I am giving you a bit more time to go back and catch up with any blog posts that you still would like to be included in the drawings. As my schedule is a bit hectic, the die drawings won't be done and posted on the blog until the afternoon of Tuesday Nov. 15th so don't forget to check back then to see if your name is among the winners! Beautiful card Sue. I have been watching these flowers throughout the launch. I knew I loved them before I've even seen the dies themselves. They are just stunning and having different sizes with outline dies as well, they tick all the boxes for me. I've really enjoyed the launch. Thanks for designing such amazing products.

Hi Sue Flower dies are always useful, and these nasturiums are no exception, and I am sure that they will get a lot of use by the person lucky enough to win them. I would have great dificulty in choosing a favourite die from the launch, the nastursiums and all the garden dies are at the top of my list, along with the striplets. Margaret xx

GE Sue. When I first saw these pre launch I dismissed them, saying I've got enough flower dies. But then I saw how you'd used them, fell in love with them and I changed my mind and ordered them. Depending how you use them, they could look classical, traditional or even funky and I love them with the stamens you've used also. Thats what I love about your blogathon, seeing the dies used in context on a design. I think these are my fave and I reckon they will be a top seller no question. Sue. You are just wonderful. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I started making cards all I ever reached for was the kits and decoupage and boy did I think they were the bee's knees lol. I then found you and Particraft, my cards reached another level, but still not great lol. Then your dies and folders came along and WOW you showed me what making beautiful cards was all about. Your design work, your daily inspiration is just something else and if it wasn't for you I'd still be in decoupage world !! Your designs just get better with every new launch if that doesn't sound stupid but the new ideas just help us to grow and grow and it's a lovely way for you to share your love of dies with us. It's been truely wonderful to share your knowledge and gorgeous samples over the past few days. I thank you for everything you do for us and continue to do from one year to another, where you get your energy and stamina from just amazes me. I don't know how much of this will make sense as we have our tv on as loud as we can possibly stand it, a stressed dog which we are trying to keep occupied with her activity ball and meat filled bone laced with 'calming' drops !!! So it's manic at the moment and will be for quite a few hours yet as we are surrounded by thoughtless idiotic morons each trying to out do each other with the biggest loudest fireworks. How I hate and detest this time of year thank goodness Particraft is here to keep me sane !! Thank you Sue and many congratulations on this outstanding new collection xxx

What an appropriate way to complete the launch with a die that has featured in so many of your fabulous examples over the past few days. Like Clare W, i was dismissive of another set of flowers believing that i had an abundance already....a feeble attempt at saving some money...however, witnessing their beauty and elegance first hand through your samples has changed my mind completely too. They clearly provide the perfect finishing touch and the striped open petal means that they are unlike anything you've done before. I can never resist having a sneaky peak at your new releases prior to the official Blogathon, but i reserve judgement usually until i have seen you weave your magic with them during the launch, and i am never disappointed.....my mum is though when she realises that i need all of your dies and not just a choice few:-) I have really enjoyed this mini launch, many treats to behold and my list of 'absolutely must haves' has just escalated tenfold. I do hope you are as pleased with the response as i am with your effort Sue, huge thanks and look forward to seeing you maybe launch them during your shows in December....cant wait! Good evening flower, Well the nasturtiums are beautiful in the black and white and actually really suit being that colour, i know Sue definitely wondering if it is the same Norah but honestly it is and although i am not a fan of black, there are times that your card suits the hint or touch that you have put in it of the colour. That beautiful blossom pink really shows them off to their full beauty being their backdrop. Thank you flower for all the wonderful designs and projects that you have made for our delight in mind, i know that i really enjoy seeing what spin you put on things and how you set them out, what you design and how it is to go togethere with others that we have, although your mind must be running on high octane fuel for all the things that you do. Have a lovely weekend flower and catch your breath. The special neice that i had been knitting for had her baby by C Section on Wedneseday night at 23:00 and thrown out the hospital on the Thursday morning, but mum and baby Hannah are doing well and i have been making up her granny's card for her to give, my card for her birth and trying to make up congratulations to the grandparent/s cards as well hence the disappearance and clumped together comments, sorry Sue. I have seen these flowers in a lot of your cards during the launch! I love these Striped Nasturtium as well the Poppies... they are not only fabulous embellishments for any card, but also amazing by their own!! Really useful! Sadly we have come to the end of this die launch, but what a launch it was. I certainly agree last bit not last for the striped nasturtium die set. Just gorgeous, I have loved seeing it make an appearance in so many different styles. Such a versatile set. They look so different with the stamens in. Love the card, so pretty.

I really love having the solid and the outline in one set. There is an early release where I had to choose between an outline set and a solid set as I couldn't afford both. The one I didn't choose is still on my wish list.

I certainly have enjoyed this launch but my bank balance hasn't! The Nasturtium set is another great flower to add to my collection - next order for sure having seen a few samples made with it.

These are really pretty flower dies and would make a useful addition to any collection. I think they could mix and match with other dies to create some very unusual fantasy flowers.

GE Sue. When I first saw these pre launch I dismissed them, saying I've got enough flower dies. But then I saw how you'd used them, fell in love with them and I changed my mind and ordered them. Depending how you use them, they could look classical, traditional or even funky and I love them with the stamens you've used also. Thats what I love about your blogathon, seeing the dies used in context on a design. I think these are my fave and I reckon they will be a top seller no question. Thanks for all the lovely cards and dies. Awesome!

ReplyDeleteSue. You are just wonderful. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. When I started making cards all I ever reached for was the kits and decoupage and boy did I think they were the bee's knees lol. I then found you and Particraft, my cards reached another level, but still not great lol. Then your dies and folders came along and WOW you showed me what making beautiful cards was all about. Your design work, your daily inspiration is just something else and if it wasn't for you I'd still be in decoupage world !!
ReplyDeleteYour designs just get better with every new launch if that doesn't sound stupid but the new ideas just help us to grow and grow and it's a lovely way for you to share your love of dies with us. It's been truely wonderful to share your knowledge and gorgeous samples over the past few days. I thank you for everything you do for us and continue to do from one year to another, where you get your energy and stamina from just amazes me. I don't know how much of this will make sense as we have our tv on as loud as we can possibly stand it, a stressed dog which we are trying to keep occupied with her activity ball and meat filled bone laced with 'calming' drops !!! So it's manic at the moment and will be for quite a few hours yet as we are surrounded by thoughtless idiotic morons each trying to out do each other with the biggest loudest fireworks. How I hate and detest this time of year thank goodness Particraft is here to keep me sane !! Thank you Sue and many congratulations on this outstanding new collection xxx

ReplyDeleteWhat an appropriate way to complete the launch with a die that has featured in so many of your fabulous examples over the past few days.
Like Clare W, i was dismissive of another set of flowers believing that i had an abundance already....a feeble attempt at saving some money...however, witnessing their beauty and elegance first hand through your samples has changed my mind completely too. They clearly provide the perfect finishing touch and the striped open petal means that they are unlike anything you've done before.
I can never resist having a sneaky peak at your new releases prior to the official Blogathon, but i reserve judgement usually until i have seen you weave your magic with them during the launch, and i am never disappointed.....my mum is though when she realises that i need all of your dies and not just a choice few:-)
I have really enjoyed this mini launch, many treats to behold and my list of 'absolutely must haves' has just escalated tenfold.
I do hope you are as pleased with the response as i am with your effort Sue, huge thanks and look forward to seeing you maybe launch them during your shows in December....cant wait!

ReplyDeleteWell the nasturtiums are beautiful in the black and white and actually really suit being that colour, i know Sue definitely wondering if it is the same Norah but honestly it is and although i am not a fan of black, there are times that your card suits the hint or touch that you have put in it of the colour. That beautiful blossom pink really shows them off to their full beauty being their backdrop. Thank you flower for all the wonderful designs and projects that you have made for our delight in mind, i know that i really enjoy seeing what spin you put on things and how you set them out, what you design and how it is to go togethere with others that we have, although your mind must be running on high octane fuel for all the things that you do. Have a lovely weekend flower and catch your breath.
The special neice that i had been knitting for had her baby by C Section on Wedneseday night at 23:00 and thrown out the hospital on the Thursday morning, but mum and baby Hannah are doing well and i have been making up her granny's card for her to give, my card for her birth and trying to make up congratulations to the grandparent/s cards as well hence the disappearance and clumped together comments, sorry Sue. I am still at it so i will leave you all with hugs to all that need, could do with or want them now that i can catch my breath again,

ReplyDeleteSadly we have come to the end of this die launch, but what a launch it was. I certainly agree last bit not last for the striped nasturtium die set. Just gorgeous, I have loved seeing it make an appearance in so many different styles. Such a versatile set. They look so different with the stamens in. Love the card, so pretty.

Hi Sue. You know how to go out on a high this is a stunning card and what better way to finish your launch but with a wreath, i just LOVE them. I just new you would keep your flowers until the end and why not they are fabulous. I loved seeing this gorgeous nasturtium throughout this fantastic launch and seeing how many different ways you were using it making it another versatile die. As you can hear i am talking myself into buying these dies as well lol. Thanks once again Sue for all your hard work in bringing these beautiful dies to us, your stunning cards and all your inspiration you are a very talented lady and you should be very proud of yourself for what you have achived from something that you love doing. ReplyDeleteI really love having the solid and the outline in one set. There is an early release where I had to choose between an outline set and a solid set as I couldn't afford both. The one I didn't choose is still on my wish list.
