Hello crafters! Today's video card uses one of the Snow Globe scenes without the Snow globe die, so you can see how easily it can be used on it's own. Also, as a quick sneak peek ( and shameless plug! LOL), the Holly branch that has been used across the diagonal and the poinsettias are on the Hochanda ODS shows which continue today at 9am, 12 noon, 4pm and 7pm.

Morning Sue. Do you have no shame lol. No plug needed HOCHANDA has steam coming from the building when you are on its that hot ! I know what you mean about mirri card - not that I'm calling you a snob, but I'm a self confessed mirri snob, if it's too bright or brash then it can turn a lovely card into something common and yak and totally cheap looking, so at last, I know I can use good quality mirri for my cards, thanks CE. I have to say how much I like today's sample, another for my Pinterest Sue Wilson Festive Inspiration board which got my brain cell fizzing with lots of scrummy ideas for my mountain of growing orders, but as you are headlining my craft viewing, and we have doggy school, plus our little Lottie is celebrating her first year in this world today (well her parents are celebrating) well I don't see card making being part of my day some how lol. WOW where on earth has that year gone ? It's going to be a whirlwind of a weekend that's for sure. Someone else celebrating is Veronique - well done in gaining entry into the Wednesday Winners Club, as a very lucky member myself I just know how much it will mean to you, it's so wonderful to be a proud owner of a Sue card, many ladies will agree 😊 so enjoy.

You are amazing and I never thought I would hear you say you liked the mirror card, I have ordered some from my CE supplier. Do you think CE will ever do a Christmas Red or Green in pearl card, that would be lovely wouldn't it. I was well impressed with the embossing of the Nordic ef and then the paste, got to try that one out.

I have just been through yesterday's blog and to Laine, Crewe Trish, Lorraine (hope you are feeling better) Frances, Pat, Maureen (whip cracking), Diane, Elaine H, Marg, 'P' in Wales, Tina T, Pam and many more - I would like to thank you for your best wishes regarding my cold and upcoming op, I am feeling a little bit better today, well the sniffles have receded anyway, so I have just got my fingers and toes crossed that the Paracetamol and hubbys ministrations have worked and I am ok for Thursday, thank you again everyone.

ReplyDeleteThought you'd be on repeat at 10 last night as advertised by Hochanda, but it wasn't to be as Sheena was there (like her also) - so watched your show in early hours - just loved that really special gold and red card - and the mirri!
My next neighbours over the field found a wee half-grown kitten up a tree in their garden last night, they're off on holiday very soon so am a foster mum - again! Hoping to find his owner soon. Meanwhile, he's just gorgeous. Temp name is Tacker, he was so hungry he's eaten about half his bodyweight in food in the past 20 or so hours. In love again!!

There is something about white and gold christmas cards that i love.
The shows were fantastic and i loved every single demo and have to agree with
what you were saying about mirri card.
i find the gold can be a bit too yellowish but i loved the gold and silver you
show and wow i never thought of stamping on it and using embossing powder.
i was stunned at the gorgeous background you did with that technique and will
definately be trying that.

Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !!! Today's card is absolutely stunning !!! I love the video to. A beautiful, classy, elegant looking Christmas card. I love the milk and gold colour combo. Your " Joy" die looks fab and I love how you framed it with the milk and gold and added the glitter. I love channel cards and this one looks beautiful using your Holly branch dies. I have your Contemporary Poinsettia background EF and it is fab !!! I absoulutely adore Poinsettia's and these ones you have made are just gorgeous Sue. Milk card with the glitter on looks beautiful and I like how you have changed the colour of the Dazzlers but I don't own any Alcohol inks at all !!! Maybe I should consider getting some. I wonder if I could coat the Dazzlers with my sticky ink pad and coat in brilliant sparkle embossing powder and heat set it instead ? I think it may be worth a try. Thank you for sharing your stunning card and video today. I watched your shows all day today Sue and they were all totally amazing !!! I can't believe all the wonderful, clever ideas you have shared with us today. I cannot thank you enough Sue. You are so inspirational and I cannot wait to get started on some Christmas cards.
