Festive Collection Day Two 6pm

Hi crafters and welcome back!  This is the only post with one die up for offer, but it is a really useful die!  Showcased in this post is the new Stocking Gift Card Holder die set.  Now there have been a few logistical issues with this one as I just could not find a Christmas themed gift card in the middle of April when my Festive card samples were done!  So I did improvise to show that you can make your own tag to use instead of a gift card!  The die has a slot designed into the die where a gift card or tag can be inserted.  What a wonderful way to give a gift card, so much nicer than just in an envelope, don't you think!  The die has been designed in several pieces, an inside decorative die, an outer cutting edge and another slightly larger cutting edge so you have a built in frame for it if you like!  Leave a comment for this one if you would like a chance to win it.  Day three will be coming your way at 6am tomorrow morning and there is so much more to see!  All for now, Sue x

  101. Good evening lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

If you take this card and die at face value they are fantastic, add to that the ingenious concept of a gift card pocket and it's usefulness reaches stratospheric proportions, what an unbelievably clever idea!
I don't tend to send gift vouchers because I prefer to give a personalised gift that I have taken the time and effort to choose, however, that doesn't mean I wouldn't buy this die because I just love the design and a decorative tag would look just as effective in my opinion.
I bet you experienced a few funny looks when enquiring about festive gift cards in April, they must have thought you supremely prepared and overly conscientious:-)..... Someone asking for Christmas themed items even before they are displayed in the shops is a rare event indeed considering they start to appear before the school summer holidays are over!
Nevermind, I prefer your handmade card anyway, and the rest of the card is simply gorgeous too.....particularly like the colour palette.
I am so enjoying this Blogathon, I have a soft spot for Christmas themed dies and even though I have an embarrassing amount in my collection I will most definitely be adding to them with from your new collection.....I wonder if you find it hard to get your festive mojo in gear so early in the year, or does it come second nature to you now........
I'm excited to see what delights tomorrow will bring, though I can't promise that I'll be ready at 6am Sue but please don't question my dedication to the blog because it remains steadfast regardless of my need for excessive amounts of beauty sleep:-)....some of us need more help than others!
Have a lovely evening blog buddies....despite back to back football coverage:-( , sending huge hugs to you allxxxxxx

  136. Hi Sue

Absolute blimmin' genius idea! I send so many gift tokens or cash at Christmas and over the last 10 years I've exhausted most types of envelope or novelty card and I need some help in a big way. This could well be it, convenience is a big factor for me more and more and considering the gift card recipients go from their teens to their 60s this would be ideal for all.

Also, for those who sell cards, a gift card holder would be great extra on a card stall. What to do with those pesky bits of plastic is a universal problem!

Must off, gotta write shopping list for Mr W for the morning. See if I can stay awake to the end of it.

Sweet dreams everyone, see you soon, T x
