Festive Collection Day Three 6am

Hello all!  Welcome to day three of the Festive Collection blog launch.  We are starting out this morning showcasing the Holly Octagonal Frame (shown here)and the Poinsettia Mini Background dies.  The Holly Octagon Frame has lovely detail to the outer holly around the edge and a beautiful octagonal shaped inside that makes it easy to create a pretty frame for your sentiments.  The Poinsettia Mini Background  has been designed with two major sections and an inner cutting edge so it can be used on different sized cards and projects.  Leave a comment on this post to get your name entered into this drawing!  The next post will be up at 12 noon, don't miss it!  All for now, Sue x

  182. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Oh my gosh! What an outstanding card Sue, it showcases your new octagon die most beautifully....I am just as excited to see your cards have their day on the blog, they have been so inspiring, and of course if I want to recreate them, as you do, then I will be forced into buying many of your new release....oh dear, what will my financial advisors have to say I wonder?
Well, what do I like in particular about this card? The EF is to die for, pardon the pun, and I love how you have created four identical panels without compromising the design. I also spy a gorgeous holly and berry foliage accent that really appeals to me, what uses that would have over the festive period. Loving the colours of the poinsettias too. However, the main star is the central Octagon which is stunning in that soft gold cardstock, it's beautifully intricate without being too fussy.
Congrats on your launch so far Sue, it's been the best one yet:-)

  185. Hi Sue
Wonderful dies this morning. The octagonal holly frame is really unusual and a great addition to the standard circular and square shaped frames. My fave though is the mini poinsettia background and can't wait to see a sample using this die.
