Festive Collection Day One 3pm


Hi bloggers!  The beautiful Aurora Star and the Swirling Stars border dies are being showcased during this post.  The Aurora Star (shown here) is a detailed star that can be both a stunning focal element or just as easily used in the backgrounds of your crafting projects.  It has been done in two pieces as well so you can easily back it or just use the decorative inside die.  The Swirling Star border is perfect for adding small accents to your card, doing channel cards or framing your focal elements.  You will find yourself picking it up for so many different reasons.  It adds just the right amount of fine detail to your Christmas projects.  Leave your comment, tell me what you think so far and you will be included into the drawing to win one of these dies.  The last post for today will be up at 6pm.  I would love to see you back here then!  All for now, Sue x

    Hi Sue. Well I think this card is gorgeous Sue !!! Simple, but most definately elegant and classy !!! I really love the background you have created to showcase this gorgeous Aurora Star Die. I really love the look of the other star border die to. I think it looks very pretty and quite magical !!! As you have said Sue I think it would look fab used as accents, borders or a star frame.     I agree that I'd be reaching for this border die time and time again - I already use the Twinkle EF for birthday cards The Aurora Star would make lovely cards for our "little stars" (can you tell I'm a granny now) And for "stars" that are no longer with us (I have a star named after my son) karenlotty

    Ooooh I think the star border is going to be so useful and I think that other dies along this line could prove a winner as well like a heart trailing border or a little diamond border along the same sort of lines. I will need to see just how tonight's is made as the background has me bewildered but that's no surprise today as nothing is working today in me, so here's hoping tomorrow I will be in working order tomorrow .     What an eye catching background, it really shows off the Aurora star a treat....is it pixie powders that have created this effect I wonder?....and what a beautiful die it is, I love it. The Star Swirls have a myriad of possibilities that extend way beyond the festive season and as such, will most definitely be finding it's way into my stash.
