Festive Collection Day One 12 noon

Hello crafters!  I have to say that I am very pleased with these two dies, they look just lovely together!  The Ray of Light Background and the Nativity die sets are both on offer during this second blog post.  The Ray of Light Background is quite different with random paper piercings in the end of the rays, but they add such gorgeous detail.  I have used it here with a pixie powder background behind it to really give the effect of a gorgeous sunset coming through.  The Nativity is done with embossing to give beautiful detail and it brings the die to life.  It has been done in two pieces so you can easily back it with a different colour if you choose.  Please leave a comment to be entered into the drawing for either of these two dies.  The next post will be popping up at 3pm.  I hope you will be able to come back and see us then!  All for now, Sue x

  35. Hi Sue and all Wilsonettes, what a fabulous combination, I am loving the pierced rays on the Ray of Light die and it goes so well with the nativity, but you can put anything on here even using it as a 'non Christmas' die, can you image it with gilding flakes in the background showing through..............oh yes I like this.

Will catch up later, just had a lovely lunch. Been to Dentist this morning but nothing to be done for 6 months.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  58. Hi Sue

A beautiful Nativity die. I think the ray of light, like a lot of others is a very versatile die with many uses. Would be great as a background for a stamped image, decoupage or a topper, with glitter, gilding flakes, shimmer paint or the new CS gilding paste on or behind (or both... shiny!!!!). That die looks like an absolute must have.

Nanna Tina, congratulations to all the family on the birth of Riley-Mae. Mick will get a real boost from this I am sure. Hope he's well enough today to have a little celebration, hugs x

Elaine, so pleased Andrew is on the up and up. Hugs to all of you x

Lynda, Billy sends wags and woofs and lots of hugs from both of us x

A bit here and there today, going to dentist never agrees with the dentist chair and the head back, mouth open stuff. Hits neck, head and lower back. Just a check up and some filing down. No plaque on my teeth so that was it thankfully. Billy seriously narked with me going out so soon after being away. Played up something rotten for half an hour when I got back. Obviously letting me know how he felt! Once he'd had his say he'd forgiven me.

Big hugs to all my friends and Wilsonettes worldwide. Got loads extra if you need and special hugs for those not feeling well. Hope everyone has a lovely day... or should that be a lovely die?!

  92. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

Another triumph! Great how you have incorporated both featured dies to create a wonderful feast for the eyes. I concur, the sunburst would be a very useful die throughout the seasons which makes it's purchase an absolute necessity whilst the nativity scene conveys the true meaning of Christmas perfectly.....my friend Gill is a traditionalist and would love this die, she is a hard customer to please at Christmas, she will only accept cards stating Happy Christmas, Seasons Greetings or, God forbid, Merry Christmas are discarded:-).....I, on the other hand , love everything about Christmas and I can see my list of must have dies sky rocketing:-)
I love the detail on the sunburst die, the paper piercing and embossed detail is stunning and elevates the die above and beyond the norm.
Wheely Bad, our fur babies really know how to make us suffer though dogs tend not to drag it out for hours like a cat can...we popped out for a few hours yesterday and Darcey was still making her thoughts felt at bedtime, not letting me go to sleep until 2am....what a diva!
    Roll on 3pm:-)

  170. Hi Sue. You are making it so difficult with all these gorgeous dies. I saw your new dies before you launched them with your beautiful samples and i couldnt make my mind up weather i like them or not but once seeing your sample cards you make all your dies come to life and they take on new dimentions. Now the hard part is which ones to buy first lol. These two dies go so beautifully together and the card is just out of this world. Perfect.
    Best Wishes.

    Hi Sue,
Another beautiful card! I am in love with both of these dies. The nativity of course is so appropriate and well done, can't wait to get it and start making my cards. As stunning as the background die is on this card, it will be so appropriate for so many other types of cards such as christenings, weddings, sympathy, etc. Beautiful!

I'm terribly late having a look at the new release, trying to play catch up, this working carry on is a nuisance when it interferes with the crafting :-)
Another two beauties and so inspirational and spot on for the season.
