Festive Collection Day Five 6am

Hello all!  Welcome to the final day of the Festive Collection blog launch!  This blog post features two die sets that are real go to sets!  Both sets have been used in the sample shown as well.  The Greetings of the season die could really be added to my perspectives range as it gives you a perfect positive and negative die cut, which is ever so handy in designing your cards!  Not to mention, there is no need to clean your die which is always a plus!  The Pine Twig is a perfect accompaniment filler to any floral element on your projects!  Leave a comment here if you would like to have your name entered into this drawing!  The next post will be available for viewing at 12 noon today!  I hope you can pop back by then!  All for now, Sue x

  17. Morning Sue from a sunny - for now Padstow (Rick Stein country) Since we eventually arrived after a 2 day dreadful drive down its been full on, celebrating our daughters 2 year wedding anniversary on Sunday, then a day on the beach yesterday with our grand-daughter experiencing sand between her tiny toes for the very first time, so it's been my first visit here since the 6am launch on Friday.
The samples I've just looked at are simply wonderful. The configurations, the holly ornate frames and Gemini dies are adorable, and the gift tag is a must for the market cards I make. I'm thrilled the new collection has been building up the blog numbers again, if only they would stay so high after the launch, how special for you would that be 😊 fingers crossed.
If due to the wonderful British weather we are stuck in for the day I shall try and log in for the last of the collection, if not I will catch up later. I'm so thrilled for you that yet again your designs are loved, all your hard work really pays off. Congratulations dear friend. Enjoy your day and I'm sending my usual hugs plus some to make up for lost days lol xxx

Think the sentiment die is fab.
That's me caught up with the blog after a hectic weekend fund raising for Marie curie. It's been nearly 2 years since my husband passed away and I like to raise funds because they were so helpful but understaffed and a little less known than other cancer charities which seriously let us down when we needed it the most. Thank goodness for friends family the church and Marie curie sits.

Well Sarah is having an operation today but not quite what we were hoping for, they can't straighten her spine it's too risky so they are going to fix it in the position that it is so that the curvature won't get any worse. Emotions are on a bit of a see-saw, disappointed for her but glad that they didn't go ahead last week, at least she won't be any worse off than when she went over. Thank you all for your kind wishes

  141. Morning, Sue,
Beautiful card this morning. I've got the twigs on order so am hoping they'll arrive shortly. I love the sentiment die, especially the fact that you get the pos and neg to use.
It was sunny when I got up this morning so I put a load of washing on...now the sky is uniform dark grey, so anyone in the Truro area, if it rains feel welcome to blame me lol.
I managed to damage my back yesterday, just at the bottom of my right shoulder-blade and boy, did I find it difficult to walk, mainly because I hold my stick in my right hand. I thought I'd pulled a muscle but it seems easier today so probably just a twist...should I go out and do some gardening do you think lol!
Goodness, only a couple more posts to go before we get to see all of the new launch. It's exciting but also a bit sad as I'm sure that we would all love to have a never-ending run of wonderful new designs. You'll be able t put your feet up with a cuppa soon, Sue and it's most certainly well deserved.
Happy crafting everyone and gentle hugs to all who are not as well as they would like to be.
    Bejay xx

  147. Hi Sue, this card is gorgeous, it looks as though the poinsettias are bursting through a fresh pile of snow to greet us - or is that just me still with a sleepy head lol. The pine twigs are lovely and will be useful all year round. I had my doubts about the sentiment in the beginning but the more I see it the more I like it and I think you have used it to great effect on this card.

Pat L - thinking of Sarah as she undergoes her surgery, fingers crossed for a successful outcome.
Nanna Tina - congratulations again! Ashton William sounds destined for great things and I hope your daughter is ok after stitches. I bet you are looking forward to a double lot of cuddles :-)

  163. Hi Sue. Well I can honestly say you have done it again !!! Yet another gorgeous, stunning card and fantastic dies !!! I really love how you have used the Noble circles to frame your beautiful new "greetings of the season" die !!! I really love the fonts of contemporary and traditional combined as you have done with several of your Christmas sentiment dies. So very attractive looking and just a bit different. Your card looks fab using the sentiments negative piece with what looks like glitter behind it. You can clearly see and read the sentiment. I love all the Poinsettias you have used (but then I an biased because they are a favourite of mine any way !!!) and the Pine Sprig has been very high up my wish list right from the first time I ever saw it !!! I love it and I know it will be so useful to go on my Christmas cards. I definately have both of these two dies on my "must have" list. Thank you Sue. Sending lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x

  181. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

I love the combination of winter white and bold blood red, it's so striking and festive. You have achieved a gorgeous example of this colour scheme at it's best, the bold poinsettias provide just the right amount of colour to make the card pop with vibrancy. It's official! I really NEED the noble circles NOW!!! How can my life go forward without those little beauties in it I ask myself? They frame the negative sentiment beautifully, what a delightful font, I love it. Ahh, the twigs, just how useful will they be in the coming months, another winner Sue:-)
I can't believe it's the last day of this roller coaster ride filled with excitement and wonder, what will I do will my time after this has come to an end?:-(
