Festive Collection Day Five 3pm

Hello there my crafty friends! This post will be showcasing the Christmas Rose die set and the Holly Branch set.   Last year, I had quite a few requests for a Christmas Rose, so I took them to heart and this is what I came up with!  It is a lovely floral addition for your cards and a really pretty alternative to poinsettias too.  A quick note too, there is a matching stamp set for it as well, but the sample shown here is just using the die.  The Holly Branch has been making itself known on many of the previous samples shown, so you can see it is a real "go to" set for the festive season.  I would love to know what you think of these, leave me a comment.  The final blog launch post will be up at 6pm today!  All for now, Sue x

  43. Hi Sue,
Oh the Christmas roses are lovely and it's about the only Christmas rose that will be out at my house on time as my ones in the garden seem to think Christmas is March April time instead of December January. I like the new holly sprig Sue, it's definition is really nice and pronounced and will make for lovely detail on our cards. Well i hope that you have received the welcome that you hoped for, for your new dies collection. I love it when you start bringing out these new dies at this time of the year and all the possiblity that they bring with them. Thank you Sue for some real beauties that i am so much hoping will come my way, but probably from me to me rather than O.H. to me somehow as he doesn't know why i need so many dies. What a silly man but hey ho that's how it goes.

  84. Good afternoon lovely Sue and her crafty crew!

What a stunning card, it showcases many of of the new collection most beautifully. How lovely that you have listened to the calls for a Christmas rose because the results have been impressive.....it's great to have a floral alternative to the poinsettias and one that is far more practical for postage reasons and beautiful into the bargain. You can never have too much foliage embellishments in your crafty arsenal and this little gem will be finding it's way into my collection quick sharp:-)
I love this card, here's hoping that it will have it's deserved day on the blog, the poinsettia borders are stunning placed upon the glittered red cardstock.
Can't quite believe we only have one more post but all good things must come to an end I guess and you deserve a well earned rest after the amount of effort you have put in on our behalf. Thanks Sue for being simply fabulousxxx

Sue would it be a fun idea to have a favourite die vote on your blog ?
where people just ticked a box from die choices and pressed submit ?
then you could see the results ? not sure how to set it up? but like the card making magazines cast their votes? just an idea ? and i'd like to see what other blog followers would vote for?

  145. Hi Sue

I love the Christmas roses, great for any time of year AGAIN!!! Brilliant:-) they actually look like the climbing roses my neighbour has that have migrated over my garden fence, I adore them so this die will be in my collection very soon I feel. I actually thought about stacking them large to small which would look like the other rose bush which has climbed over the evergreen at the bottom of my garden so all in all a very pretty, very versatile die. The holly sprig will be perfect from autumn onward I think,

I'm getting right in the mood to make Christmas cards! So many lovely dies, my list gets longer each post of which I'd like to add to my collection.
