For you

Hello all!  I started by cutting an aperture out of coconut white card by using the Auckland die in the centre.  I cut the outer edge with the paper cutter, giving a wide border so I was able to add mounting foam.  I cut the Pierced Rose Background out of white card, then added a sticky adhesive sheet to the back.  I cut the background again out of pale green card.  I left it in the die and trimmed it right to the edge of the die.  I removed all the non leaf pieces and discarded them, then laid the die over the original one and pushed the green leaves into place so they were paper pieced into place.  I covered the remaining exposed adhesive with Iced Snow, then added a piece of blush card to the back of the background.  I added my frame over the top of the background.  I completed it with a pink satin bow and a stacked sweetheart flower.  Lace edged leaves were added as accents and a small hand cut tag with a sentiment.  The usual pierced mat and layers were added to complete the card.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  7 1/4" in size.  All for now, Sue x

A lovely delicate and pretty card today with beautiful colours. John did a wonderful wonderful job in of presenting your dies and what could be done with them yesterday, and I still have one of his shows yet to watch. It must give you great pleasure Sue to see someone as talented as John is really being enthusiastic and complimentary about you and your products. He is a natural on screen and very funny. You definitely found a gem when you found John, but them you already know that.

  107. Good evening to the lovely Sue and the fabulous Wilsonettes,
Sue this is such a lovely card that looks quite simple and not too difficult to make. I love the soft pink coloured card as it is just so soft and delicate looking making the finished article delicate in look. The green is just the ideal shade for me anyway for the leaves and makes this card so suitable for an awful lot of occasions by just putting a different sentiment on it. Thank you Sue for another definite WOW that is just so lovely.
What happened to the lovely weather we were having, it's disappeared again. When i came back from seeing my friend this morning i found that my latest acquisations had arrived for my step daughters wedding. I found the ideal wee chiffon bolero for my dress from a place called Just Last Season who do clothes from Jacques Vert, Kaliko, dash, Windsmoor, Precis Petite, Planet, Eastex and Lorcan Mullany so good makes and lots to choose from. The one thing is when they go sale you can go in and find that it's not in your size but so far i've been lucky. I got a pair of black chiffon trousers with a satin band for £19 as they were only left in a size 16 and i got a black chiffon bolero and grey one to match my dress flowers and they were down to £19 each from £79, which i think is a great price. NOw i don't know about you ladies but i don't care if its last season if i like it, i like it and i have never been a trend setter. The dress that i bought for the wedding i already have in ivory with pink flowers but since that was pre last break and a size 10 i have two chances of getting into it, a donkey's chance and nnneeeeiiighhhh chance. I have been told when you get something that is of a classic styling it is always in fashion and this dress seems to be out each summer season for weddings. Any way i was fair chuffed with my bargains and i can wear the dress again as just a elegent summer dress. So that's Rory and I all set for to go now, just need the day to come now and get it over and done with as Kirsten, Rory and I will know 2-3 people, the bride, groom and the brides mother and his nibs.
Nanna Tina, it is so good to hear that Mick has settled in to the rehab centre and is happy once more, now we just need to get him well on his road to recovery so i will send down cyberly hugs for you and for Mick to give him a boost and hopefully let you know that you're not alone flower.
June, try and be good flower so that you can enjoy your holiday. I'm sorry that your wound is still playing you up but keep your chin up flower and hopefully slowly but surely you will be back to your footballing skills soon, lol.
Jan in Long Island, flower i am so very very pleased that you have such a special, couragious, talented young man for a grandson, what an acheivement and he deserves that pride in his efforts. WELL DONE SHANE, YOU ARE AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF COURAGE AND TALENT. It's so lovely Jan to hear of such an aspirational youngster who is winning and beating adversity and that he has someone that loves him so much and is so proud of him and so you should be flower, he is a credit to you and his family.
Tracy flower, please try to enjoy your wee break, you've come through so much that you deserve to have this time. Dad will be fine with you sister and until he goes for his photo opportunity at the hospital you can't do anything so please try and enjoy your time. Sending hugs to you flower x
Well i will leave you all and sending hugs to all Wilsonettes that need, could do with or just want the hugs,
    love and crafty hugs

  108. Hi Sue,
Very pretty card today. I love the paper piecing and what a clever way to do it as well...I'd have been trying to pick each piece out with tweezers one at a time...and it would then put me off trying again lol. The more I see the sweetheart flower the more in love with it I am. It's working the way up to the top of my wish list every time I see it used on one of your wonderful creations.
Well, it's Friday, 13th today and has been the warmest day here all year..so was I making the most of it out in the garden with the dog? Of course I wasn't...I was sweating like mad painting the kitchen! I watered down the first coat as someone said that was the best way to go...NOT TRUE!! It looked terrible. Sometimes I can get away with just one coat but today it all had to have two...thank goodness the ceiling was painted the same colour as the walls or I think I'd have gone crazy. I think the only brush I'll be picking up in the near future will be my watercolour brush in the craft room lol. I still have to do the skirting, but I can do that sitting on the floor instead of wobbling around on steps...oh joy lol.
    Bejay xx
