Fluttering By

Good Sunday morning all!  I started by embossing a piece of coconut white card with the Provencale Lace embossing folder for texture.  Once embossed, I very lightly added some Victorian Velvet Distress ink across the top with a smoothie to add just a hint of colour to the background.  Next I cut the Auckland die out of white card and backed it with some card from my stash (called Strawberry and Cream).  I cut two of the Magnolia Adornments in white and turned the Auckland to a diamond orientation, adding the adornments to the sides.  I stamped the sentiment and cut a frame for it using the cutting edge from the Auckland and the the Maggie die set.  I added some foam to it and centred it over the sentiment then trimmed away thee excess around the edge.  I seated it in the middle of the card and cut three butterflies from the Thank You Circle set to add as accents.  I finished the card in my usual manner with piercing and matting.  The finished dimensions are 7" x  8" in size.

The winner of this week's Comment Game are:

TDQ Karen!!!
June Smith!!!
Janice Robinson!!!

Congratulations all!  Please email me at americansue1@gmail.com to confirm your address and claim your card!  All for now, Sue x

  13. Hi Sue
A very pretty card to cheer up a very dull morning, I must get a move on and decide on a design for my daughters 17th in 9 days the only thing she's asked for is pink so while I'm with Mick I've been looking at craft blogs for some ideas and sketch different ideas
Mick had a very sleepy day he is still on the antibiotics but did manage to eat and drink and his pain was under control so he was not restless, thank you up all for your kind words and wishes I do try and catch up but my phone decides to cut off while I'm doing it and keeps stopping half way through the videos
I forgot to congratulate Pearl on winning card yesterday and congratulations to the winners today
    Happy crafting
Love and huge hugs to everyone
    Love Tina xxxx

Such a beautiful card today, love the strawberry and cream colour theme too. I am going to check my spreadsheet later to see if I have all of those dies, I know I am a couple of the set sort but not sure which ones.

Once again thank you Sue and congrats to all the other winners.

NannaTina, lets hope they can sort Mick out now, sending lots of hugs. Also to everyone else who is suffering or struggling in whatever form that may take.

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

Wow ! I love this pretty delicate card, full of summer beauty from the gorgeous background, to the tiny butterfly. I would really love to own the Mongolia die, the more cards I see made with this the more I feel I need it, but it seems that so many folders are passing me by and considering they are the first step towards a gorgeous outcome I need to re-think if next purchase should be metal or plastic !!
Sending many congratulations to all 3 winners of the comment game, what a special start to your day - enjoy xx
