Best Wishes

Good Sunday morning all!  Today's card is quite simply a case of the dies doing all the work for you!  I started by cutting eight of the Hobart Adornment out of coconut white card.  I selected Iris card to add to the combo as it pops nicely against the white.  I cut two squares of Iris card, one at 4 1/4" square and the other at 6 1/4" square.  On the smaller piece, I glued the Hobart Adornments with the straight edge to the edge of the card, centring them on each side.  I matted this piece with white card then added mounting foam and placed it in a diamond orientation in the centre of the larger square.  I glued the remaining adornments so the straight edge lined up with the straight edge of the smaller piece and the tips pointed towards the corners.  I stamped my sentiment from the Elegant Sentiment clear stamp set by Creative Expressions.  I cut the inner die from the Melbourne in Iris card, matted it in white then cut the centre out to create a frame for my sentiment.  I added pearls and mounted it in the centre of the card.  I completed the card with a pierced white mat, a thin Iris card mat and a final white layer.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x  7 3/4" in size.

  89. Hi Sue, loving this simple card with your corner/border dies giving us range of ideas. Love the colour match too. At the moment I have done six of the "Stained Glass" techniques using your Calabria die. It's an amazing and beautiful die. The colours of the first card finished are a lilac, cerise pink and gold with the Calabria in gold mirror board. I then put the gold mirror board on the top of the card and layered black card on the top of that and then put the gold corners in mirror board. It really is a gorgeous technique. I've left them overnight to dry and I've just got to put all the creations together now! "Thank you Sue" xx sending love and hugs to you and your family xx sending love and hugs to all Wilsonettes in need too. Congratulation to Michelle, Wings and Susan!
