Increase Or Decrease It

Hello there my crafty friends!  Today's video is all about making your dies work for you.  Whether you need to make your dies larger or make them smaller to fit the projects you are working on, it is quite easy to do and I can show you how in today's video card.

The finished dimensions are 6 3/4" x  7 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

  1. Such a lovely card Sue, gorgeous.
Bejay, I messaged you on FB last night, think I did it right. If not let me know and we can try again, what day did you leave the post and I will check back.
June so happy to hear you are starting to improve, slowly but surely.
Wheelybad, migraine is horrible, hope you feel better soon.
Tracey, I know it must have been so hard for you, but it had to come out, you have been so strong for so long now, it must have been like a pressure cooker. Now you can move forward and start to bring out the real you. You are a brilliant strong lady.
Daily hugs to all including our missing friends

  29. I am one of your biggest fans, started to follow your work back in the days when you did stamps for creative expressions...and am still here!! i love the things you make, but would like to ask if you could say where or which sentiment stamps you use, please? i never seem to be able to find the lovely little sayings similar to those that you use...i want to try to make my cards as perfect as yours, but a plain "Happy Birthday", or "For you", some times is not eneough!!Can you mention if possible, the stamps and where we can get them, too..or maybe you should start making them to go inside with the stamps to did for range???? Hope you dont mind me asking.Sandra

  99. The versatility of so many of your dies means that reducing and increasing sizes can be easily done. The question therefore arises, why don't I do it. I can,t think of a good answer so I think it is a session in my miniscule craft room playing with copy paper so see the effects.

This is a lovely card and the demo shows that it shouldn't be difficult for me to achieve something along the lines of your end product even though it would have to be different dies!

  100. Hi Sue,
What a beautiful card. I love the pink that you chose to go with the white, very pretty. I feel, after watching the video, that I can trust myself with the scissors in the craft room now. I've always been more than a bit worried about cutting through my die-cuts. Now I know that it's easy and, hey...if I go wrong it's only a piece of card in the end isn't it and I can just cut out another shape and try again :).

  120. Hi Sue and everyone

What a gorgeous card today. Beautiful colour card too. I bought the Maggie die at Ally Pally and it is really lovely, not had chance to cut into it yet, but now I've seen how much more scope you can have with cutting into it I probably will give it a go.

Love today's offering, not particularly a pink fan, but somehow this one works for me. The option to be able to change the size of the die is great and a useful tool to have in your arsenal. Love it....Thanks again for sharing

  126. Hi Sue. Had the pleasure of Lottie all day but the weather God's just not on my side ! Snow flurry over the Moore's at 6.15 this morning so down to 20mph along with all the 'super motorway' road works what a wonderful start to the day - not. And torrential rain on the way back just !! But what a beautiful sight as I opened the door to your blog. A real pretty welcome. Dont think i will stay awak to watch your video but it will be the first thing i do when i get up with the dog at 4.30 in the morning... ohh how i wish they did sleeping tablets for dogs lol im desperately in need of a lie in even if it's only till 5.50.
Hope you've had a good day Sue xx

  139. Hi Sue. WOW !!! What a fabulous video !!! I really love all your ideas and techniques. You are so clever to go chopping die cuts up and increasing or decreasing them !!! I love the dies and colours you have used for today's card. The "Maggie die" is a very pretty die and is on my huge wish list !!! You cannot even see any of the joins. Such great techniques to be able to use to make our dies into the size we want them to be. I managed to talk hubby into letting me order the Intertwinning Circles Mini Striplet Die today. (Pretty skint until pay day !!!) I have a birthday card to make for my step daughters fiancé. I think this die will be perfect for him, not only that it was very high up on my latest wish list any way !!! I do really love your striplet dies Sue. Thank you for a really great, very helpful video today and your usual gorgeous card. Sending you lots of love Sue from Tres x x x

Sending lots of love to everyone today, especially to my friend Tina E and her family during difficult times.
Lots of love and hugs to you Tina from Tres x x x

  140. Stunning card Sue, I really must catch up on your videos soon.
Had quite a day as it was Fibromyalgia course so had to get up early, also my son was leaving to go back to Blackpool so that was very emotional.
The drive down wasn't the best as driver should not be driving anymore, also he didn't talk so it felt very uncomfortable.
Course was fine except for getting dressed after hydrotherapy. Came out and waited for the transport home, and waited and waited. Thankfully a lovely nurse looked after me and then when she went home took me to the care of some more lovely people who fed and watered me. So I left home at 10:50 and got home 7:10.
Could really do with resting tomorrow but it's my Mum's birthday .
Ah Well, sending love n hugs to all xxx
