  6. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, I saw this card on Hochanda when you were on recently, and also some of the other cards using the Zig Zag die, I was unsure when it first came out but then following the demo's I just had to purchase it and it arrived a couple of days ago, I can't do any die cutting at the moment (don't feel like doing any either) but when I am able this is one of the first cards I will try and make, I am so pleased you have put the video on here.

Update on my wound: well it is responding slowly, still in a lot of pain getting fed up with trying to find a comfortable positon, but hey ho there are so many people out there who are in a worse position then me, so I am not going to feel sorry for myself. Thank you all for the lovely comments and best wishes on here.

    Congrats Nannie Flash

Stay safe, healthy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

  92. So glad to see you use the zig zag die...I've been curious about it since its release. Loved the idea to use low tack tape on the back to get it out of the die without warping it. I saw a similar tip where the designer used Press N Seal to do the same thing...something I always have in my pantry. The beaded swirl dies are so beautiful....I purchased the set recently and love how they cut and look on a card....

  99. Great tip about using removable tape to keep the die-cut together - I wonder if it would work in reverse - ie, to keep the "waste" bits in place and remove the main element, with a view to then cutting the same die in a different colour and then mixing the two sets together (does that make sense? I know what I mean, but not sure I've expressed it very well!) - I will have to give it a go!

I have bought this die recently, not had the chance to use it. I love the way you have used it on this card, so that gives me a little inspiration (thank you).

The card itself is just beautiful, you give me so many ideas, it takes me a bit more time to do a card compared to you but I keep trying.

Thank you so much. Love n hugs from Dorothy of Baldock xo

Have a lovely weekend Sue and everyone

  113. Hi Sue, a beautiful card and I love all the dies and the embossing folder used. The zigzag die is one of the most unusual that I have seen and it has such a great effect. The flowers are gorgeous and I just wish mine came out as well as yours, I shall just have to practice more.

Nannieflash - Congratulations on being the Wednesday Winner, you will have a beautiful card.

Lynda - I hope Annie improves and is feeling better soon.

  124. I love this card Sue. Another I fell in love with when it was showcased on your last appearance on HOCHANDA.
Between your gorgeous samples, those made by America plus the stunning cards made by the lovely ladies on the fb group, this has completely changed my mind about this die. I know you've said and written that certain dies look nothing in their packaging, and you are ALWAYS right, and we should take more notice considering you are the designer lol. So I'm a convert and this beauty must find its way home sometime.
Looking forward to watching the tutorial which is the next 'to do' thing on my list. Hope you are having a nice Saturday Sue, I'm sure Nannieflash is, congrats Nannie you are now a member of the fairy craftmothers owners club lol.
    Hugs to you Sue xxx

So pleased to have this as a video - love Maggie and zig zag is on my list.
I think the zig zag will be fabulous for those pesky men!! And of course just as fabulous for the ladies x
Thank you so much for the video x
Very uneventful day today. Weather was not too good so did not even get the excitement of hanging the washing on the line x
Well done Nannieflash on your win x
Norah - so lovely when you strike up friendships with like minded people and can enjoy good times together - even if your minds are all warped x
BETH - I have always been so lucky with neighbours. Even as a child I remember being in and out of all the neighbours houses. All this shopping - like me it sounds like you don't consider it to be retail therapy. Unless it involves crafty bits I loathe shopping x
WHEELY - hope you managed to get your haircut - always makes me feel better x
JAN - so nice to hear you acknowledging my being the favourite. I am still in shock about my win and the grin is still spread across my face x
TRACY - bet you hardly know yourself with all this time to fill. Try not to overdo it though. Sending you hugs x
LILIAN - sending you love and hugs - take care x
JUNE - bless you - hope antibiotics have kicked in - gentle hugs x
LESLEY S - hope you are enjoying some fun playtime x
LORRAINE - sorry you are feeling down. Huggles x
    PATRICIA - welcome back x
JAN - shouting back to you x
LAINE - bet you are counting down the hours til your dentists appointment. Sending big hugs x
Can hear my bed calling so will bid you all goodnight.
    Happy thoughts to you all

  140. Hi Sue.
Your video as always is fab !!! I love the gorgeous card you have made !!! I love your Maggie die and your zig zag die. They are both wonderful !!! I really love the flower that you made using the new Sweetheart dies. I have these dies and I really love using them on my cards. I already have a couple of your leaves and swirls dies and I was not intending to buy any more but I have just seen you put these gorgeous beaded swirl flourishes on this card and I think I may have just fallen in love with them !!! They are now going straight on my wish list. I think I will be able to use them in place of the pearl swirls and there are even places for some of the pearls to sit on to !!! Just beautiful Sue. Thank you for sharing your wonderful card and video. Lots of love to you Sue from Tres x x x

Congratulations to today's lucky card winner love from Tres x x x

  147. I'm so pleased that you have made this video as I can now get this die out of the packaging and start to use it to make stunning cards.
My Wedding Shadow Box dies that I won recently, arrived yesterday and they are amazing. I've made a gold and cream A4 size card with them and the Birthday Shadow Box set as the focal elements for my baby sister's 60th Birthday on 1st May. The interchangeability of your die sets it to be applauded.
    Thanks so much Sue,
    Happy Days,
    Lesley

  150. Hi Sue,
I'm a bit late posting...I've been taking advantage of a couple of 'non-rain' days and have been a bit lax in leaving any blog comments.
What a pretty card...I especially like all the details behind the flowers with the pearls on the flourish :)
Pam: Yes please, I would love to take you up on your offer...how would you like to get in contact? You could send me a private message on Facebook if you like :)
