ReplyDeleteDearest Sue, I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this little die. It maybe little but you can do so many things with it. I received it as a gift from Andy as he knows how much I appreciate, love, and need your floral dies, there is hardly one female card in my basket that doesn't have some floral element to it, and this treasure is as versatile as your configuration collection, I enjoy not only having the underneath flowers but cutting extra to form and layer on top - sometimes off set, it makes such a beautiful addition to projects. I fell in love with this card when I first saw it and love it more each time I see it, that pop of colour just makes you smile.

Very pretty and delicate card. I have the striplet but now I want the others as well but as I make so few cards, can I justify it? Decisions, decisions!!!!!!!! On a serious note, this blog is so much more than 'just a blog'. It is a wonderful forum for us all to chat with likeminded people and make friends. We are all one big happy family and I find it is such a tonic. There have been times when I feel under the weather and frankly quite miserable but I know that when I have been on the blog it gives me a buzz and always manages to make me smile x
Your dies are quite simply far superior to anyone else's' and it is evident from the comments that you are responsible for quite a few of us on the verge of declaring bankruptcy! Lol x
And then there are your cards - well where should I start? To find one word to depict their absolute beauty and superior genius is impossible. Perfection is a word that springs to mind so I will settle with that.
You can rest assured that you are by far the most deserving individual and worthy winner who should sweep the board in every single category x
LAINE - you weren't well so was giving you a few days to settle back in but if you go back to Wednesday's comment I hurled much abuse in your direction. Can't believe you told everyone that I had sent you a pressie - we don't want them thinking we like each other. I don't know, next you'll be wanting to come and stay!!! Your self esteem may be trying to claw its way back but I think your image is tarnished beyond repair (by me). How the mighty have fallen. How much colouring have you done? x
Really having trouble with my sleep patterns at the moment. Wondering if I am turning into a vampire. Cannot sleep during the hours of darkness and then completely zonked during the day. of course this is a sure fire way for a vicious circle of complete madness and desperately trying to stay awake during the day which is not proving too successful at the moment. If anyone has any suggestions which do not involve large amounts of alcohol (Laine) or sleeping tablets then please share x

This is going straight in the must do, no questions asked folder for when the peony cluster arrives....yes, I went straight to ebay and bought it on the strength of this card.....luckily I have all the other components so I can justify a little splash of my cash...just hope the postman comes when my mums back is turned because I promised not to buy until Sues upcoming shows. Oops!
Yes Yvonne, I'm counting down the days until our great leader appears and my credit card is twitching in anticipation of the event,I have it in training because it's going to be a marathon affair and heavy on the purse strings:-)
I can't believe that Sue has been overlooked either, it's a disgrace and in no wY a reflection of her greatness. All other blogs pale in comparison, and don't get me started on die designs because you lead Sue and the rest follow in your gifted wake. I don't get the same enthusiasm and inspiration from viewing other blogs and you have managed to create a lovely, kind and caring community of people united in their shared appreciation of you.....you will always be number 1 in my eyesxxxx
Struggling to get motivated today, it's one of those dull, nondescript days when your body just can't get moving as quickly as your mind would like. Unlike Yvonne I'm getting plenty of sleep....barring the occasional interruptions from Darcey.....in fact, I think that I could gratefully sleep all day if given the option so no, I'm afraid I don't have any useful tips for the insomniac.....I don't mind admitting to be rather hurt by the suggestion that I would condone the use of alcohol as a sedative, I find it more useful as a companion when I fancy a night of unbridled fun and debauchery:-) Maybe a bath and a rub down from some unsuspecting beefcake would help Yvonne......mmmmm!
Even though you give me plentiful cause to attack and defend my good name I must say that you have endeared yourself to me temporarily Yvonne after your thoughtful posting of the stamped images...are you trying to keep me otherwise engaged whilst you plan your next move of attack? Don't worry, I don't think anyone will be confusing us as friends, though your kind offer of accommodation may come in useful in the future, I'm litter trained and don't need many walks cos I'm little....I come with my own food and I've been recently vaccinated:-)

ReplyDeleteHi Sue, a really pretty card that I love. I have the octagon striplet but sadly not the other two die sets (they are on the list!) I think that with some judicial placing of the flowers I do have I may be able to come up with something along these lines. Thanks yet again for the inspiration.

Been struggling today with a stonking headache that hasn't quite materialised into a migraine, but it's pretty close. Scamp has wanted to be out of the cage and been wowling all day which hasn't helped. I think she's realised I'm not feeling brilliant as she's now curled up in her basket fast asleep. Laine will have to read about Brodie's escape in the morning, but sending love and hugs xx

Hi Sue. WOW, WOW WOW !!! Todays card just has to be one of my most favourites of all the cards you have made this year !! I really, really love everything about it. It is absolutely gorgeous !! I have the Ornate Octagon Striplet and I was lucky enough to get the cute little Peony Cluster dies from my step daughter for Mothers Day !! Now I just need to buy the Grace Die set so that I can make my own version of todays fabulous card. I love the look of the Iris colour card to but am saving my pennies for Alley Palley at the moment. I am even going to have to sit on my hands when you have your shows on Hochanda at the beginning of April. What a nightmare !! Thanks for your fab video to Sue. I really do find them so helpful and inspiring. To me Sue, you will always be my number one crafty hero. Thank you for today's stunning card and video. X x x

Another beautiful card. Great video too. Love the garland borders. Think the daisies, which I have, will work just as well. Just have to find a substitute striplet and a substitute for Grace and I'll be able to try a card based on this one!
