I am so sorry I have not been around - been quite rough but fingers crossed I am on the mend.
Fabulous card and such gorgeous colours. Not watched the video yet - in fact got so many videos to catch up on as haven't watched any for a few weeks now - something to look forward to.
Can't believe it is Christmas Eve. The boys have been away since Sunday in Amsterdam and will be back this evening. I really thought that I was going to take full advantage of the peace and quiet and had promised myself a bit of crafting time but unfortunately have not been up to it.
Anyway - have not heard from the boys too much - think they are enjoying themselves too much. MIL coming to stay with us over Christmas - tradition - every year. All in all it will be lovely as we all just chill and enjoy each others company and spend time with family and friends.
I do hope everyone is well. I am so sorry that I am so behind on everyone's news. I had hoped by now that I would have been able to go back and read the comments I have missed but unfortunately have not been able to do so.
TRACY - I hope your treatment has been going well and you have a lovely Christmas. Lots of love x
MELODY - I hope Francis is feeling stronger and I wish you and your family a merry Christmas. I hope Molly is ok. Lots of love x
LAINE - I hope you have a lovely Christmas with no major mishaps or over excitement cause by your furry children. Lots of love to you and your mum my friend x
There are so many of you that I would like to send a personal comment to but I will sign off for now as typing (and thinking) is still a little difficult due to the fatigue which has been hanging around with a stubborn refusal to take a backseat.
I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and send you all love and best wishes and massive hugs. I hope that you manage to have a restful Christmas Eve in preparation for the big day.

  71. Oh Sue, how could you do this to me. First you use the shaving foam technique making so little mess that you bewilder me; on top of that you paper grout with equally little mess. My little bedroom needs redecorating when I try this and the dry cleaning bill goes up!!!

I will persevere though and may be, eventually, I can manage the techniques with the finesse you show.

Seasons greetings to this great group of blog followers and to yourself of course. Special thoughts are for those who are having a rougher time of it at the moment than any of us would wish on you, I hope that you will get some respite over this Christmas period.

  79. Hi Sue
I love playing around with the shaving foam technique, but I always get far more messy than you seem to. I haven't tried embossing the card, but I think I will do next time.
I have just a few of the inks, and Shaded lilac isn't one ot them, but that will be rectified next time I go craft shopping, I think it is a lovely colour.

  81. So pretty....I've seen the shaving foam technique before, but I have never tried it. I'm such a neat freak when I work on a project, but you made it look easy and not at all messy. Since hubby uses gel for shaving, guess I need to pick up a can of the foam. Did you use regular cardstock or heavier weight or water color card? You said it's not very wet after applying the foam. I'm curious about what weight card works best in your embossing folders, too. They seem to really have a crisp and well defined emboss. Always so pretty. I have a couple on my wish list, but will buy them after the expense of Christmas is behind us.

Have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year....thanks for another great video.

  111. Hi Sue and everyone, I'd just like to say a Merry Christmas and a happy 2016 x To everyone who has had a really emotional rollercoaster ride and are still there, I'm thinking of you all and sending much love and hugs to you. I would also like to say, "thank you" Sue for your never ending inspiration, kindness and generosity. You have such a wonderful and caring blog that has brought so many people together in their desperation just to "talk" to someone who is willing to hear. "Wow!" It's wonderful! Ps I will admit that I haven't been on for a while but I have noticed your gorgeous cards Sue and I will catch up on the videos too.....xx Have a happy holiday Sue, with all your family and friends and I hope you achieve everything that you have dreamed of....and more.....but try and have a rest first....please! Lol! Take care Sue and take care everyone xx Love Karen xx

  117. This is absolutely stunning! I will have to come back and watch the video when I am feeling better! We have postponed our Christmas till Saturday so that we can have all three grandchildren together for tree and dinner! So much easier on them to do it this way than have them have to sit through big meals two or three times in a day and get grumpy while doing presents. This way we get to see their faces on "Christmsas" morning! We told them that Santa sometimes goes to Grandparent's house on a different day and they are so excited!
Merry Christmas to all and Peace on Earth!

  120. Hi Sue,
Love your inky techniques. I used the wax paper/embossing folder technique, you demonstrated on Hochanda, for my Christmas tags this year, with great success. Although I had seen the technique some time ago on your dvd I hadn't tried it, so thanks for the reminder on tv.
    Happy Christmas
