Bespoke Corners
Hello crafters! Today's video shows you how to use your adornments and adapt them to fit your needs, like bespoke corners!
The finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x
Lovely card Sue TX cowgirl, so sorry for Greg's bad news. I send my prayers that he gets better news from the hospital in Houston.what is the price of a human life these days, it is shocking. Hugs for you all. Tracey, Melody, Francis and Molly, always a hug for each of you and everyone who needs one.
Good morning all! So pretty Sue! You were the first person, many years ago now, that taught us to snip n tuck dies to get more out of them! Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us. Big hug Julie E
It would be so easy to make this into an awesome Christmas card using your snowflake boarder and one of your poinsettias dies. As it is it will have to be an awesome birthday card. thanks for sharing Sue. Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Morning Sue. This is a beautiful card. The colours are lovely. A great way to make the corners and i suppose you could use any of the adornment dies to make the same effect. Got the recorder all set to tape your shows tomorrow night and all of saterdays. Really looking forward to seeing what you are going to bring us this time and to see some of your fantastic card samples. Hope everything is going to plan with all of your preparations. Take care everyone. Best Wishes. Denise T x

Gorgeous card, Sue, lovely iris cardstock and pretty bow and flower. What did we do before the noble dies appeared?!!! Thanks as ever for video. Tracy - flippin' chemo always a roller coaster, don't know anyone whose treatment plan was always the same (understandably). Mr 'P' used to be in all day, sometimes not even ready 'til after closing time! Hope you're feeling okay today. Txcowgirl - so sorry about Greg, hope Houston can come up with an alternative treatment. Sending hugs, also to Melody and Francis.
Hi Sue. Beautiful card, love how you show us how to adapt your dies to use in different ways instead of saying we need different dies for each job (like a lot of other companies do). TX Cowgirl - I'm sorry that Greg cannot get the treatment he needs nearer home, I hope that he gets more positive news from the new hospital. Sending special wishes and prayers to those in pain or suffering loss. Sue XXX
Help Sue and all love the iris card with the white, so beautiful and crisp looking. Your dies are so versatile and even more so with a few little snips. Very pretty card. The colors are so nice, too. From watching your videos, I've begun using a spray adhesive and it makes life so much easier...definitely neater and faster. TFS Jan D., Florida, USA
Love the card again today Sue and thanks for sharing all your hints and tips. The trouble is that once I start watching your videos I have to watch another one and then another one and all of a sudden it is another hour later. Never mind, I would only be doing something completely pointless like cleaning the house or doing the ironing otherwise.
Hello Sue, Oh I do love this card! I bought the Happy Birthday Die as soon as I saw it. I have the other one and both have their place but this one can be more of a focal point. It's good for a man card too! I haven't read any comments as had a migraine. However, that's nothing compared to what others are going through! Tracy - I hope your chemo went well yesterday. Love to everyone going through times of trouble! Love Myra xxx
Another another lovely card. I have all the dies for this one so certainly have some inspiration for a couple of January birthday cards. Don't yet have this colour card, do I dare buy another pack!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is beautiful. I really like the way you have trimmed the Adornment die to use as corners the Noble frame is so pretty and I love the colouring. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sue Just watched the video to see how you created this beautiful pretty card which is just gorgeous. Love the design & the colour looks so pretty & feminine. The flower & stunning bow adds the perfect finishing touch to a beautiful card.
Good evening Sue and the Wilsonettes, What a beautiful card once more Sue, gorgeous colours and although i haven't got the cofigurations dies that you have made into a corner i will take a look at the video in a wee while when the head dies down a bit. Tried to sleep it off but nope still there so just having a look at your beautiful piece of inspiration for today. Another lousy day up here at the Ochils but it could be worse as it is for those poor folk that have had their lives turned upside down and some not for the first either. Yes we get floods here and it cuts off all roads in Clackmannanshire that go down to the Hillfoots. Some people are affected by it but it always amazes me the amount of people that want to buy a house at one part of them when they know that they get cut off and flooded but the houses don't seem to stay long on the market where it happens. Anyway as i say compared to the horrible things that are going on we are very lucky at this part of Scotland so we will take the rainy days with the rest of the strange weather we seem to be having. Sending hugs to all our Wilsonettes that need them and prayers for our friends that need that wee bit more, love and crafty hugs Norah (glenochil)
Have just found the time to sit quietly and watch the video. What a beautiful card and I love the colour card you have used. Looking forward to seeing you on the tele tomorrow.
Lovely as always, quite a clean looking one compared to many of your others, must say I think I prefer these the most, probably cos I need my eyes testing as things seem quite out of focus a lot these days, so for me the less fussy backgrounds are clearer for me. Will try to see some of your shows on Saturday, but working most of the day, horses!
Love the colour of today's card, stunning. I will have to catch up with the blog tomorrow, sorry for getting out of touch but been very busy with my son's visit and today I had an appointment in Bath. Now sat with two very sore knees as I had fluid drained and the steroids put in. Love to you all, especially if you are struggling xxx

Hello Sue, Enjoyed watching the video, love it when you get scissor happy, have you ever thought about making a book showing us just where to snip into a die, it would sell like hot cakes. Beautiful card, beautiful colour, altogether delicious.
CXCowgirl, so very sorry Greg hasn't responded to his treatment, I do hope he gets the treatment he needs in Houston. I will be praying for him. Lorraine, missing you and thinking of you.
The corners are wonderful how they subtly take away the plainest. And how clever is the way you layered the Noble dies. A great colour and a great cheery card Thank you again Sue.
Awesome card today! Thank you for showing in your video how you cut away bits and pieces of your dies to create yet another size and shape. I never would have thought to cut away the pieces you did to the corner sections on this card. Sue, you are so clever!
You definitely put the "HAPPY" in Happy Birthday with this stunning card. I adore everything about it. All the touches of lace add elegance and the colors are striking. I could watch your videos for hours...learning and soaking up the wonderful creativity you share. Thank you so much! Sandra Smith
HI SUE FAB COLOUR AND NEVER THINK TO STICK THE FINISHING TOUCHES TO INSIDE OF A FRAME, LOTS OF PLAYING TO BE HAD HERE WITH THE AMOUNT OF DIES I HAVE. ENJOYED THE VIDEO BUT ALWAYS DO. BORN AGAIN SPELLBINDER NADINE HUG XXX

Have just found the time to sit quietly and watch the video. What a beautiful card and I love the colour card you have used. Looking forward to seeing you on the tele tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLovely as always, quite a clean looking one compared to many of your others, must say I think I prefer these the most, probably cos I need my eyes testing as things seem quite out of focus a lot these days, so for me the less fussy backgrounds are clearer for me. Will try to see some of your shows on Saturday, but working most of the day, horses!
ReplyDeleteLove the colour of today's card, stunning.
ReplyDeleteI will have to catch up with the blog tomorrow, sorry for getting out of touch but been very busy with my son's visit and today I had an appointment in Bath. Now sat with two very sore knees as I had fluid drained and the steroids put in.
Love to you all, especially if you are struggling xxx

Such a pretty card, love the Iris color!
ReplyDeleteHello Sue,
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed watching the video, love it when you get scissor happy, have you ever thought about making a book showing us just where to snip into a die, it would sell like hot cakes. Beautiful card, beautiful colour, altogether delicious.
CXCowgirl, so very sorry Greg hasn't responded to his treatment, I do hope he gets the treatment he needs in Houston. I will be praying for him.
Lorraine, missing you and thinking of you.
Love and hugs for all

The corners are wonderful how they subtly take away the plainest. And how clever is the way you layered the Noble dies. A great colour and a great cheery card Thank you again Sue.
ReplyDeleteAwesome card today! Thank you for showing in your video how you cut away bits and pieces of your dies to create yet another size and shape. I never would have thought to cut away the pieces you did to the corner sections on this card. Sue, you are so clever!
ReplyDeleteSuper card today, beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteYou definitely put the "HAPPY" in Happy Birthday with this stunning card. I adore everything about it. All the touches of lace add elegance and the colors are striking. I could watch your videos for hours...learning and soaking up the wonderful creativity you share. Thank you so much!
