Striplets

Hello bloggers!  First up today are the Striplets.  I have two new regular sized striplets on offer in this post.  The Lattice Window striplet is very unique in that it is the first striplet design that I have done that is in more than two pieces.  There are four dies in this set and I just thought it would be valuable to have a few more options and thought I would see what you thought of it.  I love striplets as I think they are so valuable for creating backgrounds or making borders, creating channels or doing clean and simple cards. They are my "go to" for so many designs.  The second set is called the Ornate Octagon Striplet.  You were given a glimpse of it during the Hannah die release, but look for it to be showing up on the blog regularly s it is a beautiful addition to the growing striplet family.  Leave a comment if you would like a chance to win either of these dies.  I will be back at 12 noon for the next release.  See you then.  All for now, Sue x

Nice to have a four piece for more versatility. The card really reminds me of a stained glass window which will come in handy for wedding cards. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, now these I like very much, I like the idea of there being 4 dies in the set too, I must confess I have ordered the Ornate Octagon Striplet, but wish now that I had ordered the Lattice Window one, oh well never mind, perhaps next month. I am looking forward to seeing the creations that you make using these striplets, as you say they are the 'go to' dies that we all often go for as well.

Two lovely strip lets today, I love using these for backgrounds but I am intrigued with the lattice striplet as you can't overlap it because the edges aren't straight so really looking forward to seeing some sample cards with it. However as it looks like a beautiful church window I can see it will be lovely for baptism, wedding & sympathy cards, particularly the latter.

  142. Hello Sue,

OH WOW, I love all of the Striplet Dies,
BUT these two have gone to the top of my list.
If I had to choose I would put the Lattice Window as my first choice.

Gorgeous card by the way, it really makes you appreciate the detail in this die.

  144. Good morning Sue,
I first thought at your page opening and revealing today's beauty was it looked like cathedral Windows that just needs the bride and groom standing in front of them, it is stunning flower and definitely one that I need to get. What a beautiful card made with beautiful dies. Thank you flower for giving us a stunning image to wake up to.

  148. Morning Sue
Who doesn't love a striplet? And woweeee these ones do not disappoint. This card is delicate and elegant. You are really spoiling us by giving us 4 dies. Now I'm not greedy and over the moon with the usual 2 die format but with 4 dies the possibilities are endless.
I am not even going to begin trying to calculate how may different combinations we will achieve with this die alone. I am so excited to see what you have in store for us at 12. Thank you so much Sue x
I am in shock at the tragedy that took place in Paris. I have only just seen the events unfolding this morning so was completely unaware of this truly awful horror that is beyond belief. I hope and pray that no one on this blog has been directly affected by this terrible evil. My heart goes out to anyone who is suffering due to this act of evil x
LAINE - normally I would try and tempt my MIL with a desert trolley full of gastronomic delights but the problem is it would be too rich. Her diet in the past has not been what you would call healthy or varied and her cholesterol is through the roof so the puddings are not really an option at the moment. Going round this afternoon for roast and I am taking fruit salad! This is not my usual offering as there is a distinct lack of sugar, chocolate and cream. I admire your technical aspirations. My boys keep telling me I need an i phone as my mobile is like something from the old testament. I would not have a clue how to 'drive' an i phone. The only thing that I feel is a need is all Sue's dies x
MOLLY AND MELODY - fingers crossed for tomorrow. Hope Grandad/Francis up to coming home. Lots of love x
TRACY - a friend of mine who had breast cancer (now fully recovered), got really upset when she lost her hair. She had a wig but in the end didn't wear it and embraced the bald. Another friend of mine, who had ovarian cancer (fully recovered) had a wig and we called her Agnes. We had lots of fun with Agnes let me tell you. This is such an emotional time for you and you are entitled to scream and shout if you want - sometimes it does help. You are doing so well - big hugs x
WHEELY BAD - presuming your nocturnal habits are not a choice - hate it when I can't sleep x
Off to have brekkie or maybe brunch. Hoping to be back at 12.
    Crafty hugs
