Mini Striplet

Hi there my crafty friends!  I have a single die up for grabs for this blog post.  It is the new mini Striplet design called Intertwining Circles.  It is a smaller striplet so it is perfect for those of you that desire to make smaller cards.  I have used it here as a stained glass border o this card, but it makes a lovely background when cut multiple times.  It is equally at home when used as a clean and simple design too.  This die is a bit more modern in design which makes it a truly great choice for those guy cards too!  Please leave your comment if you would like to be included in this drawing.  Don't forget to make sure that your name is definitively identified on your comment too please.  The last post today will be at 4pm, I hope you can swing back by the blog to have a peek!  All for now, Sue x

  31. Hi Sue

Oh yes, this is lovely... I can see so many applications for this more modern design, particularly, as you say, those pesky male cards we need to make.

I really appreciate it, also, that you are catering to those of us who are limited in card size by our cutting machine. I can't justify replacing a perfectly good cutter with an A4 size, although your choice of embossing folders in the bigger size is tempting.

Anyway, back to this card... love it and the dies used in its creation.

  42. Hello again Sue,
this striplet reminds me of my Nana's wallpaper that she had on her livingroom when i was a wee girl. It was brown with shades of orange through the circles and it would have just needed one of those oil in water bubble rocket lamps to finish it off. I think this could be a difinite go to die especially for the pesky men in our lives that are always hard to make for. THank you Sue for yet another inspiration to get our minds going again

  93. Hi Sue

This time was a kind of yelp of pleasurable surprise and an 'Ahh' at the same time. I'm starting to sound like a Minion! This is soooo cool! This really would be great for cards for younger people, it also looks a bit like a lava lamp so fun could be had with the vase cut as an apeture and placed over, I'd be itching to fill those cut outs with the coloured and sparkly Cosmic Shimmer glues (tablet also knows to put 'Cosmic' and 'Shimmer' together... again, what does this tell you?!). Love the paper piecing on the card. Very pretty.

Horrible what's happened in Paris. I really hope no one has been affected. Still pretty shocked and saddened it all.

  147. So different, Sue, brings back memories of the 60's - I also had a mini dress in a similar pattern - worn with flat white calf-length boots with a cutaway and bow. Now those WERE the days!
Love what you have done on the sample card.

This has the definite wow factor and pleased that I also pre-ordered this one. This card is very effective and in this colour combo is definitely masculine, but can see it in pink/purple and blue and think it would change it totally. This die is totally original and don't think I've seen anything like it which was why I jumped at ordering. Thanks for the inspiration and can't wait for it to arrive.
