Frames and Tags

Good morning all!  I haven't done any  country collections this time around, but I have done a few single frames (just wanted to mix it up a bit and keep you on your toes! LOL)  First up is the Heraldic Frame, shown here.  I love the way that this die set is equally at home with a girlie pink or a masculine based background.  As always, it has been designed with separate cutting edges to maximise versatility.  The Delicate Garden Frame is very detailed and would not allow for a separate cutting edge, but I have included an outer cut die to use for matting if desired.  The extra flowers match up with those in the design for layering in different colours too.  A bit more room inside the middle of the die gave me the option of including some small butterflies.  What's a garden without some butterflies? LOL  I really love both of these and they have been a real go to for many of my cards, I hope you like them too.  A quick comment is all you need to be entered in the drawing.  The next post is scheduled for 12 noon.   All for now, Sue x

  6. Morning Sue and all Wilsonettes, you never cease to amaze me with your beautiful dies and what you can do with them, this die looks stunning on the card and as you say can be used for a manly card too. Got to get this one.

  10. Hi Sue & Lovely Wilsonettes...Please do not worry my friends if you do not see a comment from me on each of Sues breathtaking 4 day launch, although very fatigued I am doing okay I just had some money recently reimbursed to me, for an item that was no longer available, so guess what I used it for; Lol, so as stated in my comment (where I kindly asked Sue NOT TO include my name for the PIERCED NOBLE DIES) I will only comment on the dies I haven’t pulled out of the hat. Last night I had an urge (now now girls; Lol) to write a poem instead of commenting (please include me in this draw Sue x) not my best of poems but I hope it says to Sue how much & what she means to us; hope you like it & I sincerely hope that you are all keeping well x x x

  27. Hi Sue. Hopefully my 2nd attempt won't disappear into cyber space !

What an amazing start to another launch day. These dies had me catching flies when I first saw them a few weeks ago, they are absolutely gorgeous. I'm constantly being reminded of the statement I made some months ago " I can't buy any new dies until I've caught up with all the other dies - French, Spanish, Italian, Canadian, Caribbean, Greek etc etc " So now I'm in a real predicament ! Oh well next week will keep me away from craft stores and wifi so I can't even do a sneaky online order ! Hohum : (
I'm so looking forward to the next card and dies Sue.
So I wish you a happy day, and drink in all the wonderful compliments you so deserve.

Oh wow. Just spectacular. I was so excited when I saw these and now that I have seen them 'in the flesh' I am even more excited. They are absolutely beautiful and I am sure we can forgive you for not giving us more countries.
I have really found my spirits lifted over the last couple of days during your launch. I find that your wonderful blog is such a heart-warming sanctuary. This may sound like an over the top statement but I know that there are so many people who will agree with me.
I do hope you don't get fed up with us singing your praises but you are so deserving of all the praise that I for one want to bestow upon you.
Beth B - brilliant 'ode'. That fatigue gets about a bit doesn't it. Rest up girl - not much more you can do but you have this wonderful launch to keep you company and then we have our great leader gracing our screens tomorrow. A good dose of Sue - just what we need. Sending love and hugs x
Alison - hope hubby is ok. Is he a typical male when it comes to recovery? x
Lorraine - who are you trying to kid? Red is so obviously your colour. The Krankies - oh how sad that you even mention them let alone pay tribute. You will be quoting Orville next x
I didn't see the comment you are referring to - I just don't get it. Why would someone want to bring such negativity to such a warm and welcoming 'place'. Enough said!!
Having said that - do you think they were referring to us Thelma? x
Sandy - I agree. Cheering oneself up is very important. Hope the new knee is well. You do realise that you will need to cheer yourself up quite a bit over the next few weeks - just to keep you sane really due to the fact that you will be acting as auxiliary, nurse, matron and doctor. Go girl - treat yourself x
Sue - hope op goes well. Love and hugs x
That's all for now. Little fragile today so off to rest with the alarm set for 12. Have a lovely morning everyone
    Crafty hugs
    Yvonne

Looks very detailed too. I can see me ending in a divorce at the rate I'm going lol xx

  139. Such a soft gentle colour scheme, the pink and I think blush go so well together, but of course it is the die that completes the look. Another die to go on my wish list. Kind regards Sandra Kent.

  156. Good morning Sue and the Wilsonettes,
What a beautiful start to the day Sue with your beautiful card so pretty done in the pink but can understand that it could equally be for a man as it is not overtly girlie looking but boy can it be made really girlie. Now as for your other die the DELICATE GARDEN, this is going to be the very first one that i buy from this collection as it is looking through mum's garden into her little hidey place that no one could see into. This die is for me is just calling out to be made into one of those tunnel cards so that it can take me back in my mind to watching mum turn a wilderness into a place of tranquilty and beauty. Sorry Sue, me off on my ramblings again but that is what this die from the first minute i seen it takes me to. THank you Sue for bringing such wonderful dies to us.
This last few days has been lovely up here in the central belt of Scotland witth the trees starting to turn and get their autumn bloomage on them and the heather coming into full bloom. All i can here at the moment is the birds twittering their little hearts out flying in and out of their nests which is in the honeysuckle sprawling mass around next doors back door.
    Take care everyone
    Love and crafty hugs

  157. Hi Sue. WOW, WOW, WOW !!! This card is absolutely stunning Sue !! Your heraldic Square dies are AMAZING !!! So very elegant and Regal looking. I really love your card. It looks so very posh. I think this die set would be equally fab for ladies or gents. Such a beautiful design. The garden frame really has the big WOW factor too !!! It is GORGEOUS Sue !! Just like others have said, you can never have to many butterflies, or flowers too !! I think the garden frame die set is one of your most delicate and most beautiful dies yet !! As always Sue, I just could not choose between the two so they are both going on my wish list !! Thank you so much for everything. Sending you lots of love and hugs today Sue from Tres x x x

Beth B, I just LOVE the ode/ poem for Sue that you have written. It is fab !! You are very talented. Thanks for sharing it with everyone. I totally agree with everything you have written. 164. Another stunner of a card Sue! I am immediately drawn to the Heraldic Square set. In fact I think I noticed the center of it in an earlier card and wondered where it came from. It sings to me for reasons I don't fully understand. The song is sweet and draws me in - this set is another must have for me! The sooner the better! It is definitely my favorite thus far (and that's saying a lot!) Where are these "pre-order" opportunities coming from? I want in!
I'm sure as soon as I see the delicate garden frame "in action", I'll be drooling over it as well.
Beth, I kid you not- over the last couple of days I've been tossing around in my head the idea to write a poem for the blog. Thank goodness I haven't had any time to try to put one together because no matter what it was, it would have been an embarrassment compared to the clever one you wrote! Thank you so much for sharing it!
Saba-you are indeed a sleuth of great talent!!! Perhaps I'll have to start calling you Sherlock? No. Saba is too beautiful a name to replace. Saba the Sleuth? Saba the Sleuth of Cypress? (Am I remembering your home correctly?) You do deserve a prize! Perhaps that could be an occasional game on the blog! "Name That Die!" You spent your 3 am hour well! For some reason I don't have the Greek border set, though I have the background (my first Sue Wilson die purchase!) and the Santorini (my 2nd purchase - would have been my 1st, but store was out of it). And I have the Rhodes. All of which I love - plus it's because of them I searched out this blog! Another reason to love the Greek set!
Cant wait to catch up on all the comments over the last few days. So much fun with too little a time. I miss my friends!
On that note, & the fact that it's 3 am again and I have to get some sleep before returning to work (fooey!) in a few short hours, I shall bid you all adieu! Rebecca in Colorado

  180. Top of the morning to you lovely Sue and the fab Wilsonettes!

Oh how much do I LOVE these two dies....if only I was as eloquent as dearest Beth I would be able to put my emotions into prose but unfortunately I don't have the required talent with the English language...I bet your sentiments inside your cards are equally stunning Beth.
Anyway, back to this mornings dies, they have just shot to the top of my wish list, particularly the beautifully delicate garden die with the little butterfly and flower adornments- who doesn't love a butterfly...I even have a discreet butterfly tattoo!....the 3D effect will be spectacular and I cannot wait to see you sprinkle it with Sue fairy dust because your interpretation always brings your dies to life. I love the card showcasing the Heraldic Squares, it's very pretty and feminine but could also be utilised in a male card with suitable colour tones. I do hope that you have the time to absorb the accolades given by us all, how you remain so humble is a mystery, my head would be the size of a football pitch by now if I had even a smidgen of your talent:-)
Had a fitful nights sleep, partly in anticipation of today's delights and your show tomorrow but mainly because my dearest Darcey is up to her old tricks again- you know how she insists on her prawns being from M&S, well I had the audacity to use another supermarket brand so she refused to come home for her supper and bedtime. Normally I would be out in my pjs yet again(silk ones of course!) trying to coax her home but I decided to play hardball and just go to bed instead...that'll teach her I thought...did it heck! Every hour for the next three hours I tried and failed to tempt her home until at 3.15am she decided enough was enough and she'd had her fun. So I'm a bit bleary eyed now and maybe need a few injections of caffeine to get me motoring again.
Yvonne, I have a degree and do not need to quote Orville in retaliation to your jibes...and if my memory serves me correctly, only one of us has ever dared to use tarty red nail polish and it's certainly not me!
The bitchy comments made yesterday were, I believe, directed at us. My immediate reaction was incredulous laughter then the anger followed by self doubt crept in. Humour is my armour, I use it to cope with life's twists and turns but if I ever thought that I had offended or angered anyone I would be mortified. Maybe I do fly close to the sun now and again but I trust that I will be put in my place by the lovely ladies of this blog who I count on as friends. What's wrong with keeping in touch with your cheeky side in the face of adversity I wonder?
I know that I enjoy the lighthearted banter and you ladies brighten up my dayxxxx
Looking forward to 12 pm, take care everyonexxxx

I love the girlie way you have used the Heraldic Square but I can equally see it being made very masculine in dark & metallic colours.
