Hello there my crafty friends! We have reached the end of the whirlwind four days! I do hope that you have found something to tickle your die cutting fancy a bit perhaps? The three floral dies on offer this post are all beautiful in their design and have a lovely deboss feature to them so they stand out among other floral dies I think. The Apple Blossom is shown here, but the Rose and Poppy made a sneaky debut earlier in the week. This is the last time that I will urge you to leave your comments on the blog posts. Don't forget to check back on Wednesday the 16th to see if your name has been drawn as a winner of any of these sets! Due to the blog launch, I am skipping the comment game this week though, but it will resume starting again on Monday.
I also want to remind you that I have my very first Hochanda shows starting this evening at 8pm! I am very excited (and a bit nervous too!), but I would love it if you can join me, maybe send in an email or two! I have shows all day on Sunday the 13th too starting at 9am, a two hour show in fact! After that it will be one hour shows at 12 noon, 4pm and 7pm! Wish me luck! All for now, Sue x

What die did you use for the frame in the 'Thinking of You' card in the launch, as I'm trying to get ahead with the card?
Hope all goes well with your debut on Hochanda. A supreme pro like you should have no qualms about it. Things have been a bit rocky for them over the last couple of days. I still can't get them on-line, they are trying though and I'm sure they will get there soon.

ReplyDeleteThis has been my first full-fledged launch experience and as you said Sue, what a whirlwind! It has been a dizzying few days of excitement for me and all I had to do was look, drool & add to my wish list! Can't imagine all you've put into it Sue! You must be exhausted, yet you're going on Hochanda! You'll need a vacation after all this! I haven't had the pleasure of watching one of your demonstrations when you are interacting with someone else - and maybe even responding to an email or 2 it sounds like? Hopefully I'll be able to catch some of the ones tomorrow. I will just have to figure out the timing-but it's not as if I keep regular sleeping hours anyway! I wish you the best of luck, though something tells me you won't need it! You are so very talented and engaging, I know you will do an excellent job!
I love the card on this post. Having the aperture with the flowers inside looks like a shadow box- it's a wonderful effect! You are right that the debossing etc on the flowers makes them unlike anything else on the market. And here I was thinking I wouldn't need the flowers because I have such a huge collection from others (all purchased B.S. {before Sue} of course!), now that I've seen them, on my list they go!
WW- I hope all of you who are able to watch Sue tonight have a marvelous time and don't spend so much that you get dragged in to the Poor House (although what a gathering it would be)! Don't worry about those of us who won't be able to watch, we'll just be withering away in our far corners of the world...weeping.

I like the background you used, as well. I like mixing shapes...straight lines and curves, etc. I try to do the same thing with my complimentary patterned papers I use on my cards. Hello sue an everyone I'm back, when we got home from our week in Devon we had no internet I don't really no what happened but the road outside our house was dug up an men have Ben working outside all the time. I am so excited because my dad as put a lead up here in my bedroom so I can watch sky so I be able to see sue tonight an tomorrow. The card is lovely an all the new dies are really good an nan said I was allowed to pick some an she would buy them for us I have picked 18 an 2 stamps so far. I don't no if nan is going to be able to get them all straight away but she is going to get some. I am going now to look now at all the other new dies an cards before sue show starts. ReplyDeletemy grandad is really unwell an all his hair is gone now an he as got lots of hospital appointments to go to 3 different hospitals nan said its hard work just keeping up to where they need to be because they went to the hospital on Wednesday an waited over 1 hour an a half then was told granddad didn't have an appointment there they had gone to rong hospital an granddad got so upset he left the hospital an didn't get to do his appointment but now he as got it again an nan as got to make sure they are going to the right hospitals. The Macmillan team have made a dairy book to help nan keep track. Bye for now Thank you Molly oxoxox

ReplyDeleteI do like this card with the little apple blossom flowers in the aperture making it such a different card from your norm. These dies could prove to be quite useful in different circa. Sue flower, you don't need wished luck flower for your shows as your natural you comes out and takes us all along with you. You will be as great as you always are and we just love when we get the chance to see greatness at its best so have fun flower and just enjoy.

ReplyDeleteYet another beautiful card and oh yes wonderful dies to finish off- what a finale. Than you so much for a wonderful launch again. Wednesday is going to be so exciting seeing if we've been chosen as a lucky winner. We've been blown around Aberdeen today getting the last things for our daughter then we said a tearful farewell ( ok I was tearful!) until Christmas time. She seems happy and settled though and is excited about her course so that's a huge relief as we fly home. Good luck for the shows today and tomorrow, I've just been trying to find you but no HOCHANDA on premier inn TV! I'm sure you will be fabulous as always.

Just seen the show - Hochanda have finally got the sound and lighting okay, just need to catch up on the camera work and presenting. Found myself longing for Nigel!!!
Loved the Northern Lights card - in fact, fabulous - but definitely won't be attempting that any time soon, would have to be for someone very special indeed!
Shame they didn't read out any emails as guess they were inundated - sent mine really early. Ah well. Not such a thrill now there's no Cup of Chance. Jury is still out, if you get the drift.
Hope you get a good night's sleep as BOY what a day you have ahead tomorrow - hope to see some of the shows. Until then, goodnight all.

I find it amazing and endearing that a natural demonstrator with your charisma is actually nervous!!??! You poor dear, but you needn't have worried you were fabulous as always-I particularly loved your first demo, I guess I'll have to buy all of the tubs of ink now, it was really informative and produced a stunning background. You always break things down in such a simple, easy to follow way. Thankyou kind lady , you are a true Angel as Yvonne says.
