Noel Star

Hello bloggers and welcome back!!  The Noel Star die set is on offer this blog post.  Doesn't it look lovely against the backdrop of one of John Lockwood's new background stamp designs!  The matching poinsettia stamp is also his work!  This die is just gorgeous and works perfectly with other festive die designs too.  There is an extra swirl die included with it that will be so useful for your embellishment needs on your projects.  Leave a comment on this post and I will enter your name in the drawing to win this beauty!  Tomorrow is Day two for the blog launch and it kicks off at 6am as usual.  Hope to see you there!  All for now, Sue x

Oh wow wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. Brilliantly dazzling and fabulous. I love this one and all the others. Oh now I can't decide which ones if any are my favourite and therefore top of my list. What's a girl to do?
Had a very lazy day today and I have to say I hold you fully responsible Sue. By spoiling us with so many wonderful posts I knew that I had to pace myself so that I had the energy to pay full attention to Particraft. Because of this I sat with my laptop on my knee counting down the minutes to each new post. I moved only to go to the loo and do a little bit of baking. Craft and baking - lovely x

Theresa - it's no good telling us that you are ashamed of underhand tactics then plotting to bribe Sue with Chesecake. I think I'm going to keep an eye on you. I have a feeling that you may be plotting a coup. Our head of security is on annual leave so you are obviously taking advantage of my vulnerable position whilst Deb C is not here to protect me. Lol x

Very lazy evening ahead watching rubbish tv and eating things that aren't healthy. My youngest has a friend staying the night whose birthday it was last week but he was on holiday so I made him a chocolate cake. Just in case it isn't sweet enough I have covered it in enough chocolate butter icing to plaster a small room, then finish it off with far too many white chocolate chips. Just wondering who will be sick first.
I am obviously much more refined and chocolate cake is not really my thing. I have made mini meringues and have double cream which I will softly whip and fresh British strawberries. I am going to make a bucket load of Eton Mess and see how long it takes me to consume the lot!! I will let you know how I get on tomorrow.

    Roll on 6am

  106. Evening Sue,

Lovely, just right I think, not too ornate but a beautiful font. Johns done a super job with the stamps and a few have been on the list since release. Well done Sue, another hit I think.

Yvonne, glad you're getting stronger, your posts today have really entertained ;-)

Maria, thank you, Billy is doing a fine job. He thoroughly enjoys me having bed rest as he insists on joining me, when he got back from a run on the fields with Mr W he got up on Mr W's bed next to me and refused to move for two hours, maybe it's because he missed me but I think it's because our beds are even bigger than his! He sends wags and woofs to you all.

Molly, I'm the eldest of six altogether! Being the biggest sister certainly has its responsibilities (and it's perks!). Sorry to hear about your great nan, think she'd appreciate a special 'get well soon' card. You're an amazing young person and a real credit to your family, special hugs from me and wags and woofs from Billy to you, Nanna, Grandad and all your family

Cheesecake, chocolate cake, any cake and I'm happy!

Wishing lovely things for you all, have a wonderfully crafty weekend. Hugs,

  119. Good evening Sue and lovely Wilsonettes,

Well, you have really saved the best till last today Sue-what's not to love about this die , not to mention the amazing card. What value for money with the added bonus of a swirl and I just love your choice of font. I like the separate panels on the card and the flower&foliage embellishment is positively lush! Whoa! I feel quite dizzy with all of this excitement , I think I need a lie down to recuperate before tomorrow's delights. I will be leaving for a caci facial late morning so I might not be able to comment until later on but I will be keeping a close eye on the proceedings.
Like Yvonne I am having a chilled out evening, just wish I was scoffing Eton mess too-I've been watching The Great British Bake Off 's spin off show and I am now dribbling at the thought of my trip on Sunday to get some cheesecake-you can buy a massive box with a mixture with varieties such as daim bar, Rolo, tablet, raspberry&white chocolate...the list goes on. I can feel my waistband straining at the thought!
Yvonne, may I make a suggestion? I think that it would be good business practise to offer Theresa a junior place on the committee to keep an eye on her movements...keep your friends close but your enemies closer etc etc . With our security guard on annual leave we cannot risk a hostile takeover, particularly before Sue announces this weeks lucky recipient!
Well, I'm off to raid the sweetie drawer, I feel a little peckish now, have a lovely evening everyone and Thankyou Sue for such an exciting dayxxx
