Like our other backgrounds, there is no outer cutting edge so you can decide just how wide of a border you want, so there is plenty of versatility. I really like being able to cut the card to whatever size is suitable. It's just such a clever idea which I think you only fully appreciate when you start using these dies.

ReplyDeleteAnother winner. The card just screams Christmas and gorgeousness. I just can't decide which is my favourite as I love them all. I do think that the blue and white combo cards are the ones I would lean towards if pressed but they are all stunning. Your ingenuity is as always astounding x
Can't stop long - off to cook roast chicken for 4 (people not 4pm). George's girlfriend coming for dinner . Normally this house is a rather testosterone loaded dwelling but a little female company is nice and evens things up. Lol x

ReplyDeleteI do really love your big background dies and use them so so often but it is nice to have some smaller ones in our crafty arsenal to use as its not always that you want to make big cards and especially if you have alot of neighbours or acquaintances that you wouldn't go all out in the boat for but you still want to think that they are not getting just a shove bye and as quick as you can throw it together, you still want them to think that you have made an effort and that they are important in our lives every bit as much as our closer family and friends, so top marks for giving us the skills to be able to make everyone seem special.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE can we have this one demoed as it is such a beautiful card Sue, the vellum over the top just finishes it off and makes it look so soft and demure. Thank you flower for bringing such a whole lot of beautiful WOW's to our eyes and making so many beautiful dies that some of us should remember that we have other dies as well sometimes,not pointing any fingers but a certain person in Costa de Glenochil sometimes forgets the fact, but i know that i can put yours together and it works every time.

ReplyDeleteGood golly gosh! The dies and cards are just getting better and better, where could you possibly go from here Sue you are a technical and creative genius.
The fact that you have tried to cater for the crafter who prefers to work on a smaller scale is very much appreciated, and I love the entire snowflake themed dies, they are so special and unique to the market.
This card is simply outstanding-everything, from the die cut and glittered snowflake background, to the soft subtle colour tone of the card achieved through the vellum, to the star of the show, your new mini background, are sensational. Thankyou for your never ending supply of ideasxxxxx
Well, I won and we rode off to the cheesecake shop before stopping off at the Milk Barn for refreshments and homemade ice cream-clutching I box of 12slices and a tub of 12 scoops of assorted ice cream flavours. It is over 20 degrees today so we had a mad dash home along the motorway with my Mum wiping the dribbled melting ice cream off her dress with a hankie she used to put her false teeth in place earlier:-) This is the first day in 12 long days that she has managed to do so-she had her remaining three teeth on her top set pulled and developed a nasty abscess as a result. She has endured a liquid and primarily mushy diet since then, dropped a dress size and now feels that she is entitled to eat her body weight in sugar due to the trauma of her ordeal! So we plan to chill with a litre tub of said Icecream tonight cos frisky eight yr olds on a scooter high on E numbers sap us of energy nowadays...oh, I'm not as young as I pretend to be!
Yvonne, I am seriously considering your offer of your handsome blue eyed boy as I've always fancied myself as a cougar...what's a 20 year age discrepancy between friends anyway! He sounds litter trained and extremely useful around the house, just what I need-and if he has developed his Mums sense of humour all the better:-) Rest assured that I will be a good, kind and careful owner who may be trusted with your most prized asset, though I will have to have a test drive before final contracts can be exchanged.xxxx

Lovely use of this smaller fab die that doesnt have edge cuts (perfect for options), and it's so beautifully showcased in these textures, vellum and color. LOVE LOVE!!
