  71. Hello Sue,

I can't think why I'm still surprised at how well all your dies work so well together, it almost doesn't matter which ones you buy they will work with the ones you bought previously and that's a huge bonus as we all have to count the pennies...

Love the floating effect here, makes the most of that sentiment - now all we need is for someone to invent a non-shiny acetate as that would look even better!...

    Morning Sue
What a glorious way to be back after five days absence due to family visitors.
A video and a wonderful gift from yourself. Just what I needed to start me off back into 'normal' just the two of us and peace and quiet.

I have a couple of your new 8x8 Efolders and they are just wonderful to use. I love your colour palette for today and the piece of acetate is just genius to create the floating sentiment. This has definitely gone into my 'must do' file and as I have a few bdays coming up in August I'm sure that one of them will have today's style.

So off now to sort out all the bedrooms etc and return Marigny to her usual self.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

  127. Good afternoon Sue and the lovely Wilsonettes,

What an absolutely beautiful card for today's demo- I have said it before, but I really love video days since watching you create something step by step seems to compute in my crumbling brain far easier than the written word seems to. This particular masterpiece is my favourite example of your genius in a while-I adore the floating sentiment technique and the tip about sanding the embossed gloss card for added texture. You are using spray adhesive a lot lately so I have ordered some from ebay for the fiddlier die cuts.im also awaiting a delivery of some custard card and the lovely scarlet card for my Christmas cards...just need to start getting the dies now! Giving it another week or two so that my credit card has fully recovered from its malaise following your C&C shows.
Had a senior moment earlier today when I got a taxi to Stirling only to discover I had left my card at home!!??!Red faces all round as I had to get another one back home to collect it, is the universe telling me to exercise caution?....well, it didn't work:-)
Hope my good friends who are ill or struggling...yes, that means you Yvonne...are feeling a bit brighter today. We miss you all.
I also hope that you are enjoying your break in Florida Sue, here's hoping that you may bring the sun back with you when you retun next month. Raining again in Stirling, ooh I wish that I could win the lottery and buy a home in sunnier climes...anywhere south of Carlisle would probably fit the bill nicely:-)

Loads of love and crafty hugs,

After watching the video on this card, I was not able to "like it". Symbols have changed? How do I "like it" now?

  129. Love the card, but am disappointed I can't see the video! I guess somehow the link is broken. I tried to open it from the blog too and it didn't show up there either. Oh well. I will try again later. :(

  133. Hi Sue

A real stunner, I think it's terrific. For non shiny acetate try using printable acetate. One side is matt with a paper like texture.

Didn't get a chance to say how much I liked the card made by little Jennie yesterday.

Also hope Molly and her granddad are doing well.

Maria, just the topstitching to go! My neck is causing me big problems, quick comment as it's making my eyes hurt when I'm not asleep. Hopefully this will be quickly back to 'normal' and I can be more sociable!

Hugs to all of you. Happy crafting,

    T x

What a stunner Sue, love the Canadian border, love the floating sentiment, love the swirly heart corner thingys, sorry can't remember their name. So clever and beautiful. Will watch demo later. Sue hope you're enjoying your time away with your mum x
Sandra, hope your channel crossing is not too choppy and you have a lovely time wherever you're going (hols?) x
Maria so sorry to hear about your son's car, I just can't understand some people, it happened to one of our neighbours so she typed up a note asking if anyone had seen anything and posted through all the doors nearby. Can you tell what colour the car was? Did it leave any paint on your son's car - might help. Hope you get things sorted x
Karen K, I'm so envious, a brand new craft room that sounds wonderful. I'm afraid my craft space leaves a lot to be desired and I could really do with more...... space. Hubby and I agreed to share the room so he could have a little office - sounded like an OK idea at the time but sometimes I don't think our hubbys appreciate just how much space our stashes take up lol. Enjoy! x
Lorraine, I'm glad it's not just me then, I swear I sometimes have so much stuff in my head that it leaks out, my memory is shocking so I'll keep taking the tablets, can you get tablets for your memory, must get some to help me sleep a bit better, now, what was I going to say? No, it's gone! See what I mean!! x
So glad to hear you're still alive Yvonne, also glad to hear you're not kicking your friends! Sending healing prayers for a quick recovery & hugs x x
    Lynda B, sending hugs x

  151. Hello Sue,
Truly scrumptious, it's truly truly scrumptious! Like the idea of using spray adhesive, didn't know you could buy it in custard flavour though LOL. I have the linen embossing folder and it is fabulous, must give it a go on glossy card as the tone on tone effect you achieved was lovely.

Wheely Bad, sending you gentle hugs to ease your poorly neck.

    Love and hugs for all
