Finishing Touches

Hi bloggers!  Day five and the final day of the Spring Die Blog Launch.  It is the Finishing Touches range today, an ever popular category within the die line.  First up is the new Foldover Flowers.  I love this die, it is another one that doesn't look like much but when you see what it can do, you will be amazed!  I specifically designed it to be used with felt, but you can also use paper and lightweight card to make the flowers as well.  Cut it, fold it over and glue the edges, then roll for the perfect felt flower.  You can see just look how lovely it comes out  on the sample shown here.  It comes in two sizes (the largest one is shown here) for true versatility.  The new Maidenhair Fern die provides a lovely detail to your floral elements.  I am sure it will be a real go to die in your crafty arsenal.  Leave me a comment to be included in the drawing and join me back here at noon for the next blog post.  All for now, Sue x

  14. Sunday Smiles to you Sue and all from round the world. Its absolutly pouring down here too, but who cares when we have a beautiful little flower and fern for the Finishing Touches today and cant wait to see the rest ! This plain looking strip of metal looks just like that but wait and see the end result, the lady that owns our craft shop cut one and made a sample - ooooooh. I have a feeling it may still be a bit tricky for me to feel and roll, but hey just one maybe not die out of 30, cant be bad.
Hope you all have a good day and that the weather is better where you are today, especially over the big cold pond.
    Love to all.

    Morning Sue
I cannot believe that it's the last day. This last week has gone by in a whirl. A whirl of fantastic new dies and such beautiful samples giving us just a taste of what can be done by your wonderful dies.
I admit that my first purchases arrived yesterday and I cannot wait to see what I can do with them.

It's absolutely pounding down here and I do not envy the riders in the last stage of the 'Tour de Yorkshire' which finishes in Leeds today. They might have had glorious weather last July but will definitely see the worst today. Good luck and stay safe to all the riders.

To all in pain and suffering today I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe.
    See you at 12.00noon.

You've done it again! The flower die is really clever. I looked at it prior to the launch and didn't really understand it,but, now I've seen it " in action", it's really lovely. I can see it being used over and over again. The fern is fabulous too. It's a horrible day here in the North East, so it looks like the ironing will be calling, but then I might get the chance to do some crafting as I'm not going to the hospice today.

As you say don't always dismiss what it looks like on the hangar! The fold over flower die I wasn't too sure about, but now having seen the sample well... another one to add to the want list. Have already ordered the maidenhair as I love, love, love the foliage dies you bring.

This card is stunning (getting bored using the word but can't be helped when its the truth)! The peachy colour sets it off beautifully. As commented on previous posts you have thoroughly spoiled us with this launch and each one seems to surpass the previous, which is difficult when they are all gorgeous.

It's a very wet and dull day in Newcastle at the moment, but I must say your card really brightened me up. I just don't know how you come up with so many ideas. The flower looks gorgeous. I have watched you make a similar flower on youtube but you made it manually, to come up with a die for this flower is amazing.
