Expressions

Hello all!  The newest additions to the Expressions range have arrived.  I know, I know, finally, a "Happy Birthday" die!  I wanted to design one that would work easily on either a card for a male or female. I love this one and think I have reached that goal.  Dress it up or dress it down and it will work perfectly as it will be equally at home either way!  These expression dies are especially useful to those of you that do not stamp, but love to add a personal greeting to your cards too.  Along with the Happy Birthday, there is also a "Just a note" and a vertical "Thanks" to add to the Expressions range.  Word dies have been very popular and much requested, so hopefully these will tick a few boxes for you!  Let me know what you think of these by your comments and don't forget to be back for the last day of our blog launch at 6am tomorrow.  You might even know what is in store for you! LOL  All for now, Sue x

  15. Great dies for those of us that don't stamp particularly like the fonts you have used and look big enough to be the focal point of a card Especially the "Just a Note" one Perfect timing for the news earlier today The odds show she could be a Charlotte (my lovely daughter's name!)

Expression dies are always useful, but yours are an embellishment in their own right. I really love 'just a note' and I agree with you about the 'happy birthday' being good for guys as well as girls. I'm hoping to see some of the dies in the flesh, demo'ed by John at the glitter pot tomorrow! Best wishes, Anne O

  24. Hi Sue
The expression dies are so useful. Even if you are a stamper they make life so easy if you have to make a quick card (which happens quite a lot). As always, your dies in this category happen to give us so much more than others on the market.
When is a die not just a die? When it's a Sue Wilson Die.
You are so clever Sue and so generous and thoughtful. You completely spoil us with the selection of dies which you give us.
Can't wait to see what you have to show us tomorrow but feeling a little sad as it will be the last day of the spring launch.

  55. Hi Sue... Just a Note To Say... Thanks... For all the hard work its taken to design and get right all these stunning new dies for your ever growing Sueaholics, and Happy Birthday little Princess, do you know people we dont know Sue lol. Well one day you will when you get your award from HRH for services rendered to the craft world : )
All very useful dies for our last treat of the day. Sorry to turn on the pressure, but any plans for more sentiments ? On your wedding day, for baby's Christening, all those important sentiments we need but wont buy from elsewhere ! Ok, sorry, go rest by the pool and I wont throw any more requests at you, promise : ) I know someone that couldn't resist treating herself today with one of your new collection, (not me unfortunatly) ! But im certain these sentiments will be next on her long list lol.
Thank you for a great day Sue and look forward to the extra little things that finish off our cards tomorrow : )

  62. Hi Sue

Beautiful card, I adore the fancy lattice (is that a mask?) with the flakes. I only really make Christmas and Birthday cards with any regularity and I adore the happy birthday die. Would be great for guys and gals of any age!

Not as sore as I was earlier. Medicinal effects of opiates and my team making the Championship play offs, something no one saw coming in August last year! To be honest we are the under of the under dogs but after years of mediocrity it's nice all the same. Apologies for brief football mention. Crafting most definitely off the menu so its starting a crochet jumper for Mr W.

Sue, this week has been such fun seeing your new dies. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

Hugs to Wilsonettes everywhere, extra hugs if you need them and wishing everyone a lovely weekend.

the very perfect male card has just appeared on our screens with lovely designed wording on it. I love the "Thanks" one where you have got the separate letters to back fill the fancy design. 153. These Expression dies are lovely. Especially like the Happy Birthday die. How apt that you are showing this on the day our new Princess arrives. Would have been my Mum's 101st birthday today.
    Take care everyone.

  155. I love your sentiment dies. The card is awesome. It's suitable for both genders. I pinned of course. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/415386765607962614/

I have a special request. I know it's difficult to do - I want a Happy Mother's Day and a Happy Father's Day sentiment that incorporates the apostrophe into the design. All the ones I have seen have a tiny apostrophe that's not connected to the design. The little apostrophes are easy to lose and sometimes awkward to attach. The main reason I want this is to be able to use it on the Mother's and Father's Day cards that my Grade 3-8 students make in my art classes. I usually have about 200 students making these cards, so you can see what a blessing that would be to have such a die.

  188. Good evening Sue,

Hope you are having better luck with the weather-In 'bonnie' Scotland we have had rain(lots!), sunshine(not so much), snow AND hail...it really has been 4 seasons in one day recently! Which is why your launch has added a spring to my step and I am so sad that it has to end tomorrow. Never mind, I still have the demos on YouTube to look forward to!
Ah the Sentiment dies, I have them all so far cos they are so beautiful, but giving us a birthday sentiment in such an unusual font is fantastic. my personal favourite is the Just Note though, could you pleeeease demo the one shown yesterday that gives the illusion of floating? Thanks you clever lady, we're so not worthy!
