Many Thanks

 Morning bloggers and a great big Happy Birthday to my Mom!  She is 92 today!  Today's card is very similar to the one that I made for her birthday, but this is actually the card that I demoed on the POTD launch last week.  I started with the weaving and cut two Classic Weaving dies in white and two Striped Weaving dies out of Periwinkle card.  I glued the Striped atop the Classic to create the banded look.  I have done a You tube video showing how to prepare the weaving dies and do the weaving so you can check that out if you would like a more in depth explanation (it is called Woven and Framedhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwfaH_O8RRQ and you can watch it here)  I cut the  Ornate Pierced Rectangle Noble die in white using the outer and inner cutting edges to create a frame.  I used only the two outer cutting edges to create the blue edging and then glued it on top.  I added mounting foam to the frame and attached it over my woven piece. You just need to use your scissors to nip away the excess from underneath the frame.  I cut two Caribbean borders out of coconut white card covered with sticky adhesive sheets.  I glittered those with Diamond Sprinkles and glued them to the top and bottom edges of the card.  I stamped my sentiment and cut it out with the Pierced Flags and matted it with the next size up cut in blue.  I made a Camellia flower and sugared it with Iced Snow  and seated it upon a white satin ribbon bow which I attached at the end of the sentiment strip.  I added a thin blue satin ribbon bow as well for a pop of colour,  I finished it off with two matching blue stick pins.  The card was then finished with a pierced white mat, a thin periwinkle card mat and a wider white mat.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4" x  9" in size.
