Hello there my crafty friends! It's Tuesday and time for another card video. I will be showing how to make a channel card but with a fancy twist on it using the Gemini dies.
I hope that you will be able to join me tomorrow morning for the launch of my latest Spring Die Release. As always, there will be a set of each of the new dies given away to the lucky winners that enter the drawings by leaving a comment. The festivities begin at 6am with further posts at 12 noon and 4pm each day through Sunday. I am really excited to show them to you!!
The finished dimensions are 7 1/2" x 8 1/2" in size. All for now, Sue x

Hi Sue, whilst you were sleeping I popped in to watch your video tutorial and it was perfect as usual. Such a pretty border die and one that needs a home with all her Wilsonette sister dies. I only made a chanel card the other day (its still waiting to be completed and waiting for my focal element to dry) I used your new Carribean frame without the cutting edge to cut the pattern into the card with the most beautiful ice snow smiling out at whoever end up with it.

ReplyDeleteI love this periwinkle blue that you are using Sue as it is so fresh and clean looking and would do male or female or adding to a wedding card for the lucky part that i think all couples need to be embarking on such folly sorry commitment :-) What a beautiful card to make for our delight and with the touch of white corners that just finish it off perfectly. Thank you Sue, and i hope that you have are having a wonderful time with mum although i know you will be beavering away designing again. Sending hugs across the ocean to you and mum.
Well Wilsonttes it is a tad chilly today with snow on our hills yesterday afternoon and last night but at least it is confining itself to make my ochils look pretty so i don't mind. Harry just seems to be expanding at a rate of noughts in his wee oven. Poor Kirsten isn't sleeping at all well the now because of him making himself comfy. Rory has a big parade and demonstration on at Tulliallan Police College on Thursday so he is there representing the youth cadet force so that he is really looking forward to. Me, i'll just be here worrying myself that he behaves and doesn't go off subject especially with the Chief Constable. I think back to him being so unable to cope with people that he hid in the electric cupboard at school or under a heavy weighted blanket. Now he is going to be in front of 100's of people and actually succeeding way beyond my dreams. Isn't it wonderful just what the right special person can do for someone else.
Well i will go and stop bending everyone's ears and eyes about my little pride and joy and say have a wonderful day where ever you are today. Sending hugs to all the Angels on this blog that have helped me beyond their imagination and to all our Wilsonettes that can't come in at the moment,

A very beautiful card today and nice to see another dominant colour other than white (not that I mind the white as they are my fav). I have seen a sneak peak of the new range and HELP - which ones do I order I want them all!!!! Can't wait for your preview of the new collection on the blog.

ReplyDeleteI must get the perseus die,it is so lovely. I love the use of double sided adhesive sprinkled with the ice snow, it really makes the dies stand out on the card. The colours of card stock used are lovely.

Hi Sue. It's video day, YAAY !!! A fab video as always, and such a wonderful card today !! Your Perseus Gemini Dies look so pretty and lacey. This is such a pretty channel card Sue. Great colours you have used and I love the ice snow glitter peaking out from under the borders. Snipping the sentiment stamp to create the layout you want and to fit the die you want to use is a great idea. I love the Rectangular Dies you have used, but the delicate Heart Corner Dies on this card are Sooo beautiful !! Another definate "must have" for me !! More dies for my long wish list. By tomorrow my list will probably at least double in size to !!!! Thank you for sharing this fab video and card today Sue.
