Hello my crafty friends! The Canadian Collection has arrived! I am showcasing the new Canadian Background die here. This is a gorgeous two part background with stunning piercing detail to it. Use it without the inside cutting die to create the look that I have here or add in the middle die for a complete patterned background. So useful both ways, plus with the linear nature to it, you can easily cut it down to whatever size is needed too! If you would like a chance to win this one, a quick comment is all you need. ReplyDeleteHi Sue and all Wilsonettes. What a stunning bright cheerful card you have for us on this awful drab Thursday morning in Lancashire. It was hail down pour after hail down pour yesterday, but at the moment its hail Sue and this stunning new background die lol. I always think its amazing that a peice of patterned metal can take a plain peice of card from un-interesting to absolutly stunning, and this new background die will fly from the shops etc I think I can say that so far this will be the best seller as everyone loves a pretty background to work with.

When you gave us a glimpse of this one earlier, I had a look online and saw the packaging and it looked interesting, but WOW now it's just sensational! I don't often make big cards but the fact that you can trim this to fit my square cards or tall slim ones is a must for me.

This one so reminds me of a Patchwork blanket and I can just imagine the super look it will give.

ReplyDeleteLovely background. Am I right in thinking this can be an edge with a plain centre or all over background. In that case, can the smaller centre be used as a small background. I hope it is

ReplyDeleteI have just spent several hours this week watching your you tube videos & feel very inspired to craft again after almost a years break due to sight issues {visually impaired}. My husband very kindly dropped me at Samuel Taylors store yesterday so I could start a collection of your wonderful dies etc. I started die cutting the moment I got home yesterday like a child in a sweet shop I am in heaven. I am in my craft room again today & will check your wonderful blog to see the lovely new collection.

ReplyDeleteI love background dies and this one is really fabulous. There is so much detail and it can be "snipped" in so many different ways to create a great card.
We have a lovely bright sunny morning here in W Sussex so hope it stays like it as there is some tidying up to do in the garden.

ReplyDeleteWhat a brilliant die! The card is gorgeous, lovely fresh and springlike. I love the little Daisy's.
I am usually not too keen on a lot of the background dies, but this one is special. With the piercing and the option of the inner die being kept in or left out it is genius. I would love to win this. It would be so versatile.

I have been waiting for this die to be shown in all it's glory as I have already ordered it and waiting for it to arrive - I certainly am not disappointed with it's potential - such a lovely card - again!
