    Morning
Today's gift is pure Royalty. Everything from your deepest plum colours on the base plate to the tiny tiny flowers with their pearls just shout sheer elegance. I would be over the moon to receive such a gift at any time of the year.

I put my best foot forward (well that's how the saying goes) yesterday and started my version of an 'Izzy Bag'. So today I have to just make a handle and do the finishing bits. But first it's a trip to the surgery to have my annual bloods done. At one time it was work that got in the way of crafting now it's medical visits. lol.

To all in pain and suffering I hope your day gets better. To everyone please take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow. We have a little sunshine this morning and thank goodness the strong winds have dropped.

Please wish me luck as today is bath day for poochies ready for haircut tomorrow. If it goes as normal then the bathroom and myself end up wetter than the poochies. Once they're done its time to rub themselves all over the settees and to run around the house madly. I think it must be water on the brain!!!

Take care everyone, lol and massive hugs lynne & soon to be soggy divas x x x

For anyone interested, ivy does have flowers although they tend to be white/cream rather than Sue's gorgeous purple ones and they are very important for bees in the autumn.

Lynne - hope you manage to get the divas wetter than yourself.

  122. Good afternoon Sue and the Wilsonettes,
This is a gorgeous card Sue and i love the ivy. I bought the Greek border corner and tag set because i just love the ivy of that set as well. It is lovely to see the dark plum colour coming through the white which dilutes it's strength a bit but still makes an impact on sight. I hope that you are enjoying your holiday up north and the sights that you can see are second to none. I hope that you are lucky enough to see the Northern Lights as they are truly spectacular but can be elusive.
Jess, a very happy 21st with V.A.T., i'm just not telling what the rate is set at ;)I hope that you are having a lovely day and that you are very well treated.
Sheila, i am still thinking of you and Nikki flower, i hope that you will soon feel stronger but give it time. Sending you both hugs my dear friend.
Wheelybad, i hope that your doctor can do better for you than mine can me. Sending you hugs as well and i hope that you are climbing up the path to being a bit better again soon.
Steph, sending you hugs and hoping that if you are being bad you at least enjoy it but try and be good so that you can come home again soon.
Lynne you have to catch them first which is easier said than done flower but good luck and no slipping on that wet floor ;)
Saba, i am so happy that your much beloved sister Val is on the recovery road quite a distance now and hopefully she will be out of hospital and home again soon. Sending her hugs to get well with.
Well we have had really all in all a lovely day up here at the Ochils with a minor shower of rain only. My bulbs are coming up in the garden and is bringing Spring closer and closer with the nights drawing out again which is wonderful.
"P" in Wales, i have the ebosser but i find it temperamental as to whether it will work or not. It also cuts through the very thin embossing mat mines which when i spoke to a lady using it up at SECC on Sunday she asked me not once but twice, if i was sure i wasn't putting in the wrong combination of plates as she has never known that to happen. She also said that it must be the die that i am using fault, but since it does this with any die i have used on the dashed thing, it can't be all of the dies are faulty, can it? Any way i looked at the new sizzix plus that is coming this month and with ease i can turn the handle with one finger. A lovely smooth action and when you consider that i originally bought the ebosser because of difficulties in turning the handle you might want to have a try before you buy and see if it won't be better for you and you could still craft if there was a power cut but that just might be me being craft daft/mad through and through. Hah well that is my tuppence worth but others might have a different opinion on it flower.
Sending hugs to all my angels both on blog and not at the moment,
    Love and crafty hugs
    Norah (Glenochil)

This is what I personally would call a very pretty card. As usual love your colour co-ordination and think the green ivy with the purple/maroon is fab-u-lous!!! Have most of these dies/embossing folders so will be having a go at this one.

PS. Started playing with the hat pin embellishments - again just beautiful.

  131. Hi Sue, just relaxing after work by having a look at you post. This card is so pretty and the colours are stunning. I really like how you've shaded the ivy and paired up with plum coloured flowers. I especially like the recessed the Copenhagen die for the centrepiece and I love the Carina die, it looks like a row of angels. Happy Tuesday - Deb C x

  142. Hi Sue

Very pretty, the ivy does look great with inking and I am looking forward to watching when I get to bed tonight. It's a thoroughly stunning piece and sure it'll have many admirers.

I hope my Wilsonette friends are all ok, Steph, hope you've had benefit from the hospital. Hugs to all those struggling at tbe minute. Sorry I've missed all your news, I've been feeling very tired again and had more double vision and headaches than usual which makes reading very difficult but I have got the hang of watching two TVs! Hoping for a call any day now to say my new glasses are ready to help with that. I had a nagging feeling yesterday morning about the date of my doctors appointment and checked- next Tuesday! Thank you for my good luck messages though, I shall hold on to them until next week.

Sorry it's brief, trying to rest as much as possible, cards to make!

Big crafty hugs to Wilsonettes everywhere, extra special hugs to those having treatment, recovering, ill, injured or in any sort of pain. May tomorrow be a better day!
