For some reason dont have the dotty bow but have the others but the dotty one goes better with the large polka dot mask so another die to add to my list lol. Thanks for another great video.

    morning Sue
Have to admit that when I first saw today's gift I wasn't all that inspired. After watching your wonderful video I'm coming around to thinking yes will be having a go with the textured paste! I just might have to purchase an artist's smock before I start (how do you use such messy things without getting one bit of it on you?).
I'm not sure about the colour but do like the format and would love to see a card done in a different coloured paste.

Congratulations to all the very lucky winners.

To all under the weather for whatever reason I hope you soon feel better. To all take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

  50. Hi Sue and all Particraft friends. Well done and woop woop to 3 very excited candy winners.
Tuesday tutorial comes round sooo quickly.. The saying goes ' dont wish your life away' but why not when you look forward to Tuesdays and Thursdays ? And every blog day inbetween : )
Woah, texture paste !! Looks as scary as pesky guilding flakes, does it fight ?
As lush as it looks both on stills and video I may have to withdraw and back off a tad, with my unresponsive, stubby sticky up, flap in the wind finger, it may just get in the way and do mega damage LOL ! I didnt see a single speck on your hands or clothes Sue, I betcha Id get it in places you couldnt imagin ! So I'll admire from afar and say yet another wonderful idea for those chap cards (who'd you rather strangle for being so awkward to make for) !! Saying that... I have at least 4 male cards ordered yesterday to be ready for market this Sunday !!! Oh how I wish I had my Wilsonettes with brains near by !!! Urgh, men's cards, where the heck do I start ? Please dont say with texture pain LOL.
Sending sweet cuddles for all those in need.
    Love you.

  56. Good morning Sue,
Fabulous card. I love everything about it. Especially the Bling factor.
The video is thrilling! Had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the glitter paste "Big Release", should have know not to worry, it was perfect. Very brave of you to include this technique in your video.

Myra, Anonymous, and Lynda thank you so much.
I contacted spellbinders, didn't hear back straight away (should have considered the time difference) so contacted Creative Expressions.
    Long and short of it:-
I will very soon be the proud owner of 2 new handles for my G.C. One cost £5 (CE) and the other from spellbinders free of charge.
Both companies were so helpful and I certainly wouldn't have thought of contacting them without your advice, so thank you once again.

Dear Maria, appreciate your Hug, sending you one in return.

Many Congratulations to the Blog Candy Winners,

  57. Hi Sue,
I've just watched the video and feel inspired to have a go with the clear texture paste I bought ages ago and haven't plucked up the courage to use yet. According to the packaging I can add mica powers and or glitter to it before I put it through the mask so I will definitely have a go now. If my card turns out only half as nice as yours I'll be pleased. Thank you so much for sharing.

  58. Good morning Sue, and all the ladies.
This is lovely, and Steph texture paste is not frightening as long as you have everything ready before you start!! I usually forget the dish of water in which to wash the stencil, etc. xx

    ReplyDelete
  59. Good morning Sue
You make everything look so easy I'm alright putting the paste on its removing the stencil that's my problem. No matter how careful I am I always seem to smudge the paste. The dotty bow was the first set I bought of your diddy sets because I thought it looked so unusual. I love how you've changed the look of the tag by putting two together, in fact you'll be surprised to hear that I love the card lol.
Congratulations to all the lucky winners what a fabulous Christmas present for you all.

  64. Fabulous Card, Video and Technique! Please don't be put off using Glitter Paste if you haven't used it before , it's much easier than you might think not that I can do it as neatly as "our Sue" ! but as long as you have some water to hand it's fine, and gives a wonderful effect whether for a background or focal point.
Congratulations to the winners, enjoy your prizes!

  72. Love this technique, but how do you do it Sue, I couldn't see any paste on you. The card is gorgeous, this could definitely be used for mens cards. Why is it that I start with a clear table space and end up working in a couple of inches because there are items all over my table. I've come to the conclusion I am just a messy crafter. Oh well off to make some bird houses.

  113. Hi Sue

Very sparkly and pretty. Paste is on next years to do list.

Did get some cards made. Cheated and used a kit but did use dies with it. Paying for it now in a big way though, have six more to do on dog/ animal theme but those will have to wait a day or two while I recover. The big box of stuff I ordered online arrived yesterday so Mr W and I have some gift wrapping to do at the weekend. Should've been getting the "evidence" printed for the forms today but have been asleep most of the last 16 hours. Will start all this Christmas nonsense in January in future as at the minute I feel like I will sleep over Christmas once I got everyone catered for!

Must go, hugs to all of you,

I do not have any texture paste at all so it will definately be on my buy and do list for after Christmas. Thanks for showing us a great new technique. I do actually have the polka dot mask and of course your gorgeous dotty bows !! I make loads of Dotty bows to put on my cards. I love them !! Both of your Frame die sets look great, especially used together like this. They are very pretty. I notice you have used the New York border die. I LOVE this die !! I really hope Santa may give it to me for Christmas !! This would make a great card for the men. I love the grey glitter texture paste on grey card. It makes a lovely change from the usual card colours. Thanks for sharing.
