  9. Oh Sue, this is so lovely - totally elegant and understated. You always give us fresh ideas - would never have thought of using the ivy dies almost as a striplet. Just gorgeous. As you say, suitable for many occasions. Really must have a shot at using gilding waxes, such a pretty, delicate touch.

What a truly elegant card you've given us today it's right up my street. I love the way you've trailed the ivy across the aperture, and this embossing folder is on my 'I need' list which seems to growing from a list to a book lol. The video is easy to follow so that we can replicate this card thank you for that.
It's freezing here so I'm wrapping up warm because I'm off Christmas shopping today.

  45. Hi Sue
Love the card and the video is so informative as usual. I love the Eternal Rings Striplet and to use the outside cutting edge on its own makes it a " crafting essential".
I would never have thought to use it to produce an alternative Striplet look. And the little gap you left where the sentiment would go - only you would have the foresight to do that.
Thank you so much for all your inspiration. I want to go and play with my Eternal Rings edge now but have to go christmas shopping instead.

    morning Sue
Elegant is certainly the word for today's gift. White/white with a little hint of colour what more could anyone want on their special day!!
As you say it could be used for any occasion and even for those pesky males in our lives.

Sandra - have a lovely day crafting with Mrs B.
Norah - hugs are on their way for you.
Steph - keep your fingers warm and ready for crafting.

Well it's my knit and natter day and my turn to demo. So off to make sure that all eight sets have everything in them. I dread getting there and finding that one file is missing a piece. You'd think that after all these years I wouldn't panic but I still do especially if there are lots of pieces.

Wrap up warm everyone it's cold outside. To all under the weather for whatever reason hoping you feel better soon. To everyone take care and stay safe. See you tomorrow.

  63. Hi Sue this card is really beautiful , the ivy dies are on my must have list for Christmas and I dropped a large hint at the weekend how great they would look with the pine bough and holly! I had a chuckle whilst watching the video. I was using gilding wax yesterday and was adding blending solution to some that had gone hard so had taken the lids off all the pots. Well I put them ann back on but couldn't work out which gold was which! Now I know. My lounge smells lovely today (note to self polish more and do housework not craft!). Really cold here this morning, had to scrape the car before taking my daughter to the station. Stay warm everyone. Take care Sue on your journey home. Love Diane G xxx

Anne - enjoy the Majong at the 19th.
Steph - lucky you, I give George hints galore but they go in one ear and out of the other!
Everyone, stay warm, look after yourselves and have as good a day as you can.

  150. Hi Sue, yet another gorgeous card, beautiful in its simplicity. I will watch the video later - probably tomorrow when I also hope to catch up with Julia's shows.

    Tandy, so pleased for you.

Sue, I don't know when you are travelling, but have a safe journey.

I'm going to be battening down the hatches and making sure all the cats are in before they get swept up by a gust of wind. It is already pretty wild out there and they are promising it will get worse tomorrow.

    Have a safe night everyone.
