Blush Rosette

Hi bloggers!  We are nearing the end of the first video series, but this one is a beauty worth waiting for, I think!  Unfortunately, I was only able to find a few pictures of this card so you'll just have to watch the video to see some more of the close ups!  Finished dimensions are 7" x 8 1/2" in size.  All for now, Sue x

Yay! My favourite micro beads, the card is so beautifully delicate. I love the rosette and although I don't have this particular die I have similar so that I can try to make this card. Your channel cards are so versatile if I have just a small amount of a pretty paper I make a channel card. I find I can follow your video demo's better than written instructions and look forward to more of them (especially ones using your new/old dies). I'm off to see an Agatha Christie play tonight so going to get some crafting done today because I have quite a few family birthdays next month.

I am not going down to the Glasgow Show this time (boo hoo) but I wish I was and then I could look out for the people wearing a WOW BADGE! and meet them in person ( hope we continue this idea for future shows) anyway Norah And other Wilsonettes have a wonderful time at the show and please let us know who you meet up with, xo

  47. So delicate and frothy Sue - just lovely.

I can see how a change of colour would work too. Might try a really punchy colour and see how it changes the overall look.

Very frustrated as couldn't get this video to load on YouTube last night and it still won't do it! I suspect its my cheap tablet so will try on my laptop later. No probs with any of your other fan videos. Ggrrrr!!

  78. Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
A beautiful creation yet again Sue that i absolutely love both in colours and design, it is just perfect. But i see you are tormenting a whole lot of us again that haven't got and can't get your beautiful embossing board. Please, please is there not away that you can get some more of this beautiful board, as it is by far the most useful and beautiful of all your boards.
Rosie, i hope you have got your WOW badge on, but enjoy the show. I do hope that anyone that see's me at the SECC on Sunday will come and say hello as i would just love to meet my lovely Sue blog friends. Go on, play spot Norah, it's the new game that is out for the Glasgow show. I can assure you that you will not be in any doubt that it's me as i will have a WOW badge in the hair as well as on the front of me, as being in the scooter no-one seems to see me, it must be because of Harry Potter's invisibility cloak that i borrowed from him, i must remember to give it back to him.
"P" in Wales, we are here not just for Sue as we started out but because of the friendship and understanding that your blog friends can give you. If we can help to ease you through this awful time we will. We are just like the friend that you have a coffee or tea with, it's just we've not met up yet. I wish you could feel the hugs that i am sending you and Tina, ask your hubby to pass it on for me.
Tracy, i hope you enjoyed your birthday, it doesn't hurt so they say turning 40th.....HUHH. If you are going out to celebrate this weekend, have the drink i can't and enjoy yourself. I don't know what i did wrong at that age for it to go against the tide. It must have been the Race for Life that i walked on my 40th. I made myself a birthday cake costume, totally embarrassed my daughter (well that's what mother's are for) and had a ball. Calling it the Race for Life, that's the biggest joke, as i had the last break of the back just after that. Now i get excited if i manage up the stairs without pain. LOL.
Steph, i hope that since turning yourself into the human pin cushion yesterday that you are getting back on the recovery road yet again. I wish they could do their tests without having to resort to a needle each time. Then they have the cheek to say, "It's only a wee prick" well being honest if it doesn't matter if it's small or big, i wish they would try it out first before they come away with sweeping statements like that. It's not the size that matters, it's the actual time they take to do it. And some of them are none to gentle at it i can tell you, so hoping you are feeling a bit better today and you get word fast so they can help you.
Just remembered Lynda, it was Broadmoor i was thinking about, not Broadstairs, but i hope you enjoyed the beach.
I'm going to give you all peace now and i will hopefully see you tomorrow.
Love and crafty hugs to you all,
Norah (Glenochil) where they have pinched my hills again. x

  81. Morning Sue and Wilsonettes. Hope all ladies off to the SSEC have their W.O.W (Wonder of Wilsonettes) badges at the ready, and if you get to meet up have a WONDERFUL time : )
This card is back at ya Sue. Thank You.
Thank you for all the time you have taken to make these tutorials, even though I have not been able to replicate your gifts, if I had the tools, etc I know it would be easier as.I too do better by watching than reading through step by step, so I look forward to the time we can sit and watch you turn card and ink into W.O.W's
Such a delicate beautiful card today and the rosettes are so girly but with masculin colours would work so well for a male themed card. I really like the idea of the channal, I keep all my long wide offcuts to use for tiny leaf dies or small petals and occassional border use, but I will now spend more time using them as borders, Mr Lancs always knows when Im using adhesive paper as my growling (when I cant find the edge to peel) sounds like Marg Simpson !!! : 0 all I need is the tall blue hair, oh and very yellow face (instead of red and blue) due to holding my breath !!
For the lady who was asking about the brand of card - Foundation vard -.Joanna Sheen has an abundance of all colours on her internet shop and I waited no time at all for my new Sue dies to arrive, so if you cant find the colour you want from other places our lovely ladies have told you about, here is another shop you can try : )
Candle of light day for my boy today at 11am so Im sending hugs to our lovely family who are sad, unwell, and missing our 4 paws it hurts (your NOT alone)
Have a good day Sue and family Wilsonettes.

  127. Afternoon Sue and all the other bloggers.

Love this card today and the video was just great, I got a lot of information from it and it was so much better than reading a 'shopping list' of instructions. How to make the rosette was so good.

Craftihappiness to you all, love from Pearl

  130. Hellooo Sue and all the Wilsonettes! Ohhhh Sue....what an absolutely gorgeous card. Love the colour and those beautiful rosettes, "wow!". I have been meaning to do those (still not got around to it!). It is soooo pretty and girly, for any occasion really from anniversaries to a thank you. So sad that your videos are ending too but in the same breath "thank you" for taking the time to do them for us. Like Jackie, it will be wonderful to keep going back to the video's as and when we want to. You are truly one in a million!
Firstly to 'P' in Wales, I'm so so sorry about the loss of your beautiful cat. Sending love and hugs to you in your sadness. Tina, you and your husband and family are still there too. Dawn, hope your mammogram goes well and you'll be okay. Been there and got the tshirt. Every year for me too. Nanna Tina, hope your hands have come out of the cold. Fieldsend, my husband had the same problem too. He also had stopped breathing during a short operation he had done. It was found he had sleep apnia. It happens a lot in men apparently. My husband is now on a cpap machines that monitors his breathing through the night and jolts him (with no disturbance) to get him breathing again. Just a thought for you..... Marg, Sorry about your Grand Caliber breaking. I fancy the Embosser too as it would help in the manual hand problem. Anne, in the same position here too about these wonderful craft shows that go on. Wish there was one in Stoke-on-Trent/Staffordshire sometime. Have a great time ladies at the Glasgow show though and happy meetings to the Sue Wilsonettes! It would be fantastic! Janet, hope you go on okay at your annual check up too....Norah, bless you in your pain and all those suffering too. I can understand about the injections....some are sooo gentle and with others you are saying "hello" to the ceiling! Steph, thoughts are with you whatever you, your family and the Wilsonette family are going through. Hope yesterday went okay for you. Brenda, wishing you well too and Tandy, hope you're feeling better today. Hope you had a great birthday Tracy! Had that one and the annual ten one after that and halfway to the next ten year annual this year.....brain teaser eh? Lol! Cameeli, I agree with you so much about our dawn friends. It really does give you a pick me up. Our budgies go daft too! One year, I think it was 2011, we didn't hear any birds at all. No sparrows, blackbirds, robins or tits or finches. It was quite spooky....glad to say it was only that time though...phew! Well, just to say to all our Wilsonette family, thinking of you and sending out hugs and love to all of you who need it more today than yesterday xx Love Karen xx

  154. Beautiful card Sue, the rosette is lovely and so easy to do when shown.
Will not be going to the SECC this year as I have spent all my birthday money on dies, stamps and storage. Hoping there will be a couple of shows this summer that I can go to, went to one a few years ago in the Edinburgh Climbing centre and it was great, I am not too sure but think it might have been Sincerely Yours. We don't get many shows in Scotland, they are very few and far between.
Hope you will be making more videos Sue as they will be sorely missed by all of us!!!
