Yay! a Teal card and OH NO! another die to go on my 'I need' list I will never be rich. It's such a pretty card will have to watch the video later. I had a bit of an emergency last night my Grand Calibur cutting plate fell and cut my leg which need to be stitched. You can imagine the doctor when I said how I did it. He didn't have a clue what it was and imagined it was some firm of carpentry tool lol. So I'm off to get it checked this morning.

  27. Celestial and heavenly, Sue, love this card and for once have to say it doesn't need a bow! Thanks again for all the tips and good to see the piercing again - I had a hopeless pokey tool and too thin a mat, but looked back to a previous video and could identify the ones you have - so voila!! am now fully poked and matted up.

  35. Another Great Video and Beautiful Card ! I finally managed to get a 1 millimeter pokey tool and what a difference it makes, a lot of tools don't give the size so in my case it was a trial and error thing. I don't have any of these dies or teal card so I will just have to admire them and content myself with what I do have, hope your leg heals soon Heather and that's not what a cutting plate is meant to cut!

  44. Hello our dear crafty leader, hello my dear crafty Wilsonettes. Time for a crafty peak at your card today Sue, which looks beautiful yet again. Oh Heather Heather Heather, what are you like ? But can you imagin how the conversation could have gone had the doctor been a 'secret crafter' ?! How shocked would you have been : )
Will have to return later as today is the day Im hooked up to a drip for most of the day, which means a day away from craft : ( which I can ill afford if Im honest, still lots to do ready for Sunday, plus Mr Lancashire's birthday card to make !
Cant wait to watch your tutorial later Sue, something nice to think about as the meds go through.
Hope everyone has a lovely day whatever your plans, and if your not feeling up to par, remember - tomorrow is another day. Hope your check up goes ok Heather.

  50. Good morning Sue and fellow Wilsonettes,
Well another beautiful card today Sue and in such a beautiful colour. The tied together embossing folder has a mistletoe look to it, just putting in 3 dots of the pearly glue and you have mistletoe. What can i say, my brain goes exploring other universes on a regular basis. Although i don't have any of the components except the piercing ruler (not a bad start), i will see what i can use to simulate your lovely creation.
Killie Tracy, i think you and i must be married to identical brothers and i wont say what mines calls my crafty things, it is not for public hearing before the 9pm watershed. He can't see the point in having more than 1 die, but he can see the point in him having 3 electric drills, umpteen socket sets etc...
Heather flower, i know they say its a cutting plate, but you are suppose to put your dies on it not your leg. Might be a very tight sandwich to go through the G.C though. Please refrain from putting bizarre objects like legs, hands and feet in my case on cutting plate.Hee Hee I hope you heal quicker than my foot has done from dropping said plate last week onto the top of my foot. I must be getting old the fact that it is not healing.
Take care everyone and hope you have a good day, from a cold but clear crisp Glenochil. See you all tomorrow hopefully,
    Love and crafty hugs

Absolutely stunning card and luv how you have used the insertion for the centre with the die and the twisted metal tag die - fab xx also thanks for the update on the piercing - I have tried this in the past but I use a Tim Holtz ruler as the CE ruler wasn't out then (I don't think) which I have had for a long time and not sure if the holes in that are smaller than the CE one or whether my pokey tool is not big enough but it doesn't achieve the same affect as you xx I will have to persevere!! 118. Hi Sue and Wilsonettes, back again Im afraid ! Feeeling a bit 'odd' after a day on a drip, but has to be done, moaning wont change a thing, had a catnap, and realised I'd got the video to catch up with (just the kind of card Maggie w.a.b) would appreciate, NO bow on this card I notice, but equally beautiful Sue. I have ordered a pack of teal card along with a few more colours, and cant wait until I collect it : ) I also have the pricking ruler and really like how it finishes off the card (a word of warning to any of my friends that have arthritic hands/fingers as I do, enjoy doing it but do a little at a time as it can be a painful enjoyment) you have to try and use as much pressure as your pain level will allow to keep the ruler from moving - in fact Im going to do an experiment tomorrow with it. I was given a silicone thin gripper to help me open jard etc from the hospital so I will try using that just under the ruler and see if it helps secure it in place on the card I want to prick (wow, did I REALLY just think about doing that) ??!! Well I never !
That doilly die is stunning, such a pretty little thing. I love watching the tutorials Sue, when I grow up I wanna be just like YOU : )
That's it for now, I hope your hospital visit went ok Heather, and your preparations are all sorted for your interview Thursday Cameel.
Who ever that CARDSERVER is, he is NOTHING to do with our Sue or card making (he is an imposter) !! Using Sue's wonderful world to advertise : (
