Snow Globe

Hi bloggers!  Today's card is the first stamping technique that I ever learnt.  I took my very first stamping workshop back in 1992 and it was to learn how to do this technique (now you have to watch it, huh!)  It is still so fun to go back and revisit all the great techniques that have been around for such a long time.  I hope you have a few minutes to watch it and leave a comment.

Finished dimensions are 7" x 7 3/4" in size.
Remember, double Christmas card day on Friday!  All for now, Sue x

  5. Morning Sue, Pam and all Wilsonettes. This card is so clean and fresh looking, like fresh fallen snow crisp and white. I love white and silver together. Its a beautiful card Sue, worth taking centre stage amongst all other cards received over the Christmas season (it would certainly stay on show longer than the 12 days)
Im still trying to find time to watch the last tutorial of the butterfly appature, but Im definatly going to find time today to watch today's. Thanks for yet another stunning card Sue.

  14. Morning Sue,
I couldn't wait for this morning as it was another Sue Wilson Video Special, and what a wonderful Video you never let us down. Today's Beautiful Card is so clean and crisp in the Silver and White very stunning, I loved the Embossed Background you chose and those Awesome Scalloped Boder dies, I love how you've added the odd pearl along the Border, the largest of the Bauble Dies you have used makes a great "Snow Globe" and to use The Iced Snow looks just stunning, and to finish off with a messy Bow and one of the Smaller Pearl Embellishments from your range, I love the Sentiment as always, I'm loving the "Christmas Cards" you are showing us as "Yes" I've still more to make and each day I take another idea away from your Outstanding Blog. I've watched the Video once now time to watch once again!
    Love from Sam x

  21. Good Morning Sue and all the Wilsonettes. We are being spoilt with all your lovely Christmas cards Sue. I could make these all day long. Superb video too.

I love snow globes we always had them as children too in our stockings -magical watching the snow gently fall. Now I make them with my grandchildren using small decorative jars with snowmen in; memo to self must get round to doing that soon so much to do so little time! LOL!

  146. Hi Sue

I watched your video with a huge smile on my face I did demo's (I used to teach crafts) on this style of card in 2003! However its sooo much nicer now with the beautiful dies that are available, the dies raise these type of cards to beautiful classy cards - just like yours.

Am currently playing with the 'strings of Bling' stamps and the piercing ruler.

  147. Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I love this card. But this time I can't copy it :) I don't have any of the tools and materials used to make it. But perhaps the snow globe idea can be used some other way tho'.
Anyway I do love this card :)
