Peace Ornament

Hi bloggers!  And still more Christmas cards... it just has to be done though, right!  This one is a really elegant, but a not too time consuming creation, if that fills the bill for you.  If you like it, please leave a comment on the You Tube site (but don't forget about me here! LOL)

    A lovely simple but outstsnding card today Sue. I adore all you work, but sometimes 'less is more' stands out just as much dont you think ? Will be blog hopping as soon as Im home from my hospital appointment, I have Crohns, and have an i.v infusion every 8 weeks - trust it to be 'blog hopping' day of alllll days !!

    Today's gift may not be in traditional colours but it certainly works for me and I'm a traditionalist re Christmas.
    Thank you for today's tips - I have never thought of offsetting the eboss folder but will be trying that one out. Thank you also for the tip re cutting a mask for cutting out small flowers etc.

    Ooooh what a pretty card and you are right about the pearls just setting it off. I love the layering up that you do to your cards as it makes them look more keepsake. The poinsettia dies are my very favourite flower out of all the Spellbinders range. The double embossing leaves a beautiful design behind. Thank you Sue once more,

  98. I'm going to watch the video later but I *do* like the look of the card itself - not the bow though, sorry. I think because it's 'doubled-up' - by the very nature of bow-making, the colour is far too intense for the rest of the card (or maybe that's just how it appears on the photo?) Then again, you know I don't really *get* bows ;)

    I watched your video early this morning but could'nt reply as my allergy took a real hold this morning and I could'nt stop sneezing and my eyes were streaming so much I could'nt focus on the keyboard," what a lovely image I have just created".

    You are one amazing person, you are extremely talented, I adore your work, I watched your Video twice before I went to "Craft Class" I love to watch before I go then we all have a chat about your Blog and your Video, well I Love the Colour you chose, your Card as always is Sensational I Love the way you did your Background and then added the 3 mm Pearls it looks so effective, when I watch you on the Video, you make it look so easy!
    Your work is Stunning just Beautiful, please keep the Christmas Cards coming as I've still got so many to do, I do try to add my own little swist, I love the Embossing of the Bauble and the Awesome Poinsettia, thanks for the great tip about cutting out a template that is a great idea! you bring us such fantastic inspirations every single day, and then like today taking us through the making of the "Bow" I am aware some don't like Bows but I so love them just Awesome Sue and over 4 Million of us aren't getting it wrong!     I try and work out the cards from the picture as I am not fond of watching a video. I like written directions best because I can keep referring to them as my memory isn't the best now. I do love today's card - the colours are lovely.
