Hello My Friend

 Hello everyone!  It is a Wednesday Weekly Card Giveaway day and I have this pretty little one on offer today.  Just leave me a comment on today's post to be entered in the drawing to win it.  Before I forget, I still have an unclaimed card from a few weeks ago, so SHAZZA, if you would still like your card you must email me to confirm your address before I will have it posted out to you.  I will redraw for this one if it is not claimed and post the new winner's name on Saturday with this one.  Todays card is one of those "go to" styles I just adore when you haven't got a lot of time, but want it to be a show stopper.  I picked Periwinkle blue and white as the colour combo for this one and used the Tapestry Background die to cut the detail in my white background.  It takes a couple of passes through the machine as all detailed dies do, but it is worth it.  I then used the Grand Large Labels to cut the outside shape to my background.  I used mounting foam to raise it for dimension before centring it over my Periwinkle card.  Using our white felt, I cut three circles then I cut spirals by hand into the centre.  This doesn't have to be perfect as felt is very easy to trim when finished if there are any high spots. Roll them to create your flowers using a small amount of Cosmic Shimmer dries clear glue on the edge.  I stamped my sentiment with a black archival ink pad and cut it into a strip with forked ends.  I matted it with periwinkle and mounted it across the centre of the card from the edge.  I tied a messy bow out of sky blue seam binding, added some white tulle and then seated my flowers in a cluster with it on the edge of my sentiment strip.  I added some flatback pearls to the corners and on the die cut background for accents and added my double white pierced mat layers to finish the card.  Finished dimensions are 7 1/4" x 8 3/4" in size.  Who wants to win it?  Let me hear you!  All for now, Sue x

    Wow! Today's card us certainly a show stopper it's absolutely F.AB.U.L.O.U.S. I have this die and I've received compliments on every card I've made using it. Although it takes a couple of passes I agree with you it's worth it. I love the periwinkle colour card with white it's very pretty. Would I like to receive this card? Hmmmmm let me think................ LOL

    It's just so Stunning, I think the Colours really Pop the Fabulous Periwinkle and White go so well together, and at present with such dull and dreary weather this Card would lighten up anyone's day, then there's those Beautiful White Felt Flowers are just so Pretty! and the correct Felt cuts like a dream!

    morning Sue from a very very very wet and cold Sheffield.
    Again today's gift is another of my favourite colour combinations. Anything blue in all its shades.
    As you say quick and simple but oh so elegant and gentle - blue and white skies of summer - where have they gone.
    This is definitely one for my 'must do and keep box'

    Oh how today's card is so absolutely out of this world beautiful. The tapestry die is so intricate and makes a stunning centre piece for the card. The beautiful blue sets off the white to perfection. The blue and white reminds me of fine English china, such a beautiful blue. I don't have this die but it has just went to the top of my need list, as it would make such stunning cards for any occasion.

    Love that the Tapestry Background is the focal point on this card. The 'corsage' on the left is a perfect finishing touch. Periwinkle is a lovely blue - sort of reminds me of Wedgewood.

    Love the colors and the roses are so sweet. The die is gorgeous,what can I say? You put everything together so beautifully. I would be so thrilled to win this card. I just had mouth surgery and am feeling sorry for myself, I love to visit your site and enjoy all the lovely creations you make, it makes me forget all about the pain and inconvenience of not being able to eat anything other than jello, smoothies and yogurt.
